<![CDATA[This paper aims to explain the development of aviation safety in Indonesia prior to the removal of the ban on flights of Indonesian Airlines by the European Commission during the 2007-2018 period, and to examine the diplomatic steps taken by the Indonesian government concerning the removal of the ban. This article employs a qualitative approach which is a literature study. Data were obtained from various official documents and reports, as well as articles and news related to the issue of Indonesian airline's flight ban by the European Commission. The results exhibit a lengthy diplomacy process that took place in the year 2007-2018, illustrating the weakness in the aviation safety aspect of Indonesia's aviation that must be improved. The Indonesian government must continue to strive for the independence of the country's national aviation sector so that it is able to take a prominent role internationally and not to heavily depend on the global transportation business. Economic integration in the aviation sector with all ASEAN countries must also be strengthened to balance the strength of the aviation industry in the European countries and the United States, especially following the horizontal agreement. With such integration in the aviation sector, it is hoped that Indonesia will be able to focus on regional market forces.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of the study is to analyze factors to prioritize the development of aviation professional ethics based on virtue ethics in Indonesia and to decide which best suitable strategy to accomplish the purpose. The data was taken from 8 (eight) aviation and ethics expertise and practitioners. The method of data analysis used Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Super Decisions software was employed to process the data.The result shows that the best and most effective strategy in developing aviation professional ethics based on virtue ethics in Indonesia is by applying the Virtous Leadership. The Virtue Ethics Approach is bound much with moral examples. It means, to ensure the professional and ethical employees in an organization, first thing to do is to assure that the leaders and managers of the organization can give examples and do the obligation with high commitment based on virtues values such as courageous character, honesty, and other cardinal virtues.]]>

<![CDATA[The implementation of the School Safe Zone (ZoSS) provision program in the Depok City area for early childhood education, basic education and education that has not been implemented optimally is in accordance with the objectives of implementing the ZoSS program. The purpose of this research is to increase traffic awareness in the area to school, where many parents, teachers and children do not care about good driving and care for the safety of themselves and others. The problem in this study is the lack of public awareness of how to get to the school area safely. The research method uses descriptive qualitative data collection methods by interviewing children who go to school in Depok and secondary data from journals. The results showed that the application of ZoSS in the city of Depok has been implemented with priority in 7 elementary schools (SD) with traffic signs and officers optimally.]]>

<![CDATA[PT Aerojasa Cargo is one of the subsidiaries in the business strategy group of the Garuda Indonesia Group Aerowisata unit which is engaged in transportation, tourism, hospitality, logistics and flight catering services. Tbk. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the IFE matrix shows that the strength and weakness factors have a total score of 3.47. This indicates that the condition is in a very strong internal position. Furthermore, the EFE matrix shows that the opportunity and threat factors have a total score of 3.14. This indicates that the Cargo Services business can respond to the opportunities that exist in the right way so as to avoid threats in the industrial market. The quadrant diagram shows that PT Aero Jasa Cargo is in the Growth quadrant where the quadrant is in a very favorable condition. The results of the SO strategy, obtained the strength factor that must be maintained in order to be able to take the existing opportunities, the ST strategy shows that the company must maximize the strength to overcome the existing threats, the WO strategy, take advantage of the existing opportunities by minimizing the company's weaknesses. As well as the WT strategy which requires companies to be able to minimize weaknesses and avoid threats.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to know the cause of traffic jam in Bekasi high and urban transportation (angkot) not orderly passing, sharp decrease to income of Angkot in Bekasi. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data analysis technique using interview, observation, documentation and triangulation of source. The result of the research, the very high traffic jam in Bekasi is caused by the number of city transportation exceeds the ideal amount, the increase of private vehicles especially motorcycle and road construction such as tolls and housing, flood. The angkot drivers are not orderly in Bekasi because of the chase of the deposit and the lack of angkot passengers and the replacement of the main public transportation drivers, the absence of officers in crowded places such as stations, shopping areas and the lack of strict officers. Revenue angkot very less because of the many rivals such as online-based vehicles, employee buses, school buses and motorcycles.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the airport which is handled by PT Angkasa Pura II and the biggest in Indonesia is Soekarno Hatta Airport,Tanggerang. In 2014, the airport rank is 12nd as the busiest airport in the world (aci report), while the existence of the parking stand is limited. The aim of the research is to analyze the need of parking stand at terminal 2F, especially on the weekend. This research use a queue method with the result; the data is processed with probability 1 or when the airplane in the queue to the parking stand at 46.18%, the utilization value of the parking stand services during weekends 6.02%. Meanwhile, for a regular time the probability is 71.00%, utilization value is 14.70%.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was aimed at finding out the effect of one application system to the other app system. To solve the problems, the researchers were using two kinds of data collecting methods which were field research (observation and interview) and library research. The researchers were using descriptive comparative to analyze the data collected. The data taken was qualitative data. The data sources were primary data from observation and interview and secondary data from books, journals, reports, and others. The result shows that there is a large discrepancy between the two systems application: out of gauge and baggage handling. It is due to lack of facilities of out of gauge app and unclear SOP (standard operating procedure) and lack of baggage safety of baggage handling system. For the last part, it is because of bad conveyor structures though baggage handling system is considered still better than the out of gauge app. ]]>

<![CDATA[PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is a state-owned company that engaged in air transport service. The main issue discussed in this research is the relation between charter flight costs to crew rotation practiced in PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in flight route Jinan – Denpasar based on an agreement with Royal-Sino Energy Aviation. The objective of this research is to find out the influence of charter flight cost by crew rotation. Data were analyzed using descriptive explorative. Based on the result of the analysis, it is revealed that PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk uses crew pairing system in its applied crew rotation, but it is not fully optimized. The crew pairing and crew scheduling optimization can be applied in PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk so that the crew cost expenses can be reduced thus giving bigger margin to the company.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is (1) to find out the use (utilization) of motorized equipment support at PT Gapura Angkasa branch office Soekarno Hatta Airport in 2015 equal to 214 appliances with request 244 appliances and (2) to find out the highest usage tools in 2015. Data presentation was using available equipment ground support data, equipment on demand, and tools that can not be used (idle). The explanation is supported by previous journals and thesis of ground support equipment as well as literature review of several theories related to it. The research results show that the use of GSE motorized ambulift equipment is 100% indicating that ambulift is used continuously and in reasonable condition to wear. The toolsused are the Ground Power Unit with 94% usage and followed by other devices with the same amount from 70% to 88% which means that the use of motorized ground support equipmentis is quite high.]]>
