Abstract

The view of one-sided truth claims that do not recognize the existence of other truths outside of themselves has resulted in disharmony in social relations resulting in rifts between components of society in a large group that vows to become one nation which is different but still has one common goal. The purpose of this study was to find the inculcation of the value of religious moderation through education in Hindu families in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This research is a qualitative study of the roles and strategies of Hindu families in the city of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, in instilling the value of moderation in children from an early age so that they can build relationships later in the heterogeneous society of Mataram City. From this study it was found that the role of the family as the main and first place of education was realized by Hindu family parents in the city of Mataram. The family also takes on the role of instilling the value of moderation as a provision and a form of adaptation for children to live in society later. The strategy applied is to use the story method and encourage heterogeneous association for children.

Abstract

The teaching module is a concrete form of learning planning in the implementation of an independent curriculum. Therefore, teaching modules are needed to facilitate the student learning process. This is the basis for proposing a study to describe needs analysis in the development of project based teaching modules. This type of research is descriptive which aims to describe the needs analysis for the development of a project based teaching module to increase the creativity of students of Dwi Tunggal Tourism Vocational School. The subjects of this study were 59 students of class X of the Culinary Study Program and 4 teachers of culinary sciences. Sources of data in this study in the form of primary data through the technique of giving questionnaires and secondary data through the analysis of the Culinary Basics learning program. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and triangulation based on some relevant literature. The results of this study indicate that the development of a project based teaching module to increase the creativity of students at the Dwi Tunggal Tabanan Tourism Vocational School is very much needed by teachers and students as an effort to overcome some problems in the learning process. This module has a project implementation basis in its learning which consists of 8 scopes of material in the odd semester Culinary Basics subject and has a structure in the form of general information, core components, and attachments according to the pocket book for the development of independent curriculum teaching modules. In accordance with the results of the needs analysis, further efforts are recommended as a follow-up to the findings in this study. These efforts are: (i) designing a project based teaching module (blueprint) design; (ii) developing project based teaching modules to facilitate student learning processes; and (ii) testing the effectiveness of the implementation of the project based teaching module in accordance with the expected instructional impact.

Abstract

This study analyzes whether tri kaya parisudha, karma phala and religious moderation directly effect auditor accountability which tri kaya parisudha and karma phala indirectly effect auditor accountability with religious moderation as a mediating variable. This study are conducted in Mataram City with respondents being auditors in various sectors. This study used a questionnaire instrument as a data collection method. Analysis of the data in this research used Partial Least Square (PLS) 23.0 analysis. The results of direct analysis show that tri kaya parisudha affect positive significant to religious moderation and did not affect significantly to auditor accountability, karma phala affect positive significant to religious moderation and did not affect significantly to auditor accountability, and religious moderation directly affect positive significant ton auditor accountability. Tri kaya parisudha and karma phala influence full mediation on auditor accountability with religious moderation as an intervening variable. The results of this study contribute to support the role theory and provide an understanding of the influence of auditors spiritual capital in the perspective of tri kaya parisudha and karma phala. Auditors are expected to be able to use good thoughts to plan audits, take appropriate actions according to the code of ethics in conducting and deliver the correct audit results without being separated from the independence and professionalism of the auditors.

Abstract

The leader must plan, implement and maintain the organization's management with full professional responsibility based on competence. As a manager, spiritual capital derived from the value of local wisdom and religious moderation becomes a new perspective that a leader must internalize. This study analyzes whether Tri Hita Karana, Tattwam Asi, and religious moderation directly affect Leadership Accessibility and whether Tri Hita Karana and Tattwam Asi indirectly affect Leadership Accessibility with religious moderation as a mediation variable. This research was conducted in Mataram City, with respondents being leaders in private or public organizations sectors. This study used a questionnaire instrument as a data collection method. Data analysis in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS) 23.0 analysis. This study obtained the results that Tri Hita Karana had a significant positive effect on religious moderation but had no effect on Leader Accessibility directly, and Tattwam Asi had a significant positive effect on religious moderation but had no effect on leader accessibility directly. In contrast, direct religious moderation significantly positively affected Leadership Accessibility. For indirect influence, Tri Hita Karana and Tattwa Asi have complete mediation on Leadership Accessibility with religious moderation as an intervening variable. The results of this study contribute to supporting role theory and providing an understanding of the influence of the leader's spiritual capital from the perspective of Tri Hita Karana and the teachings of Tattwam Asi. Leaders are expected to use a sound mind to carry out management planning, coaching with appropriate actions according to the code of ethics, and correct delivery of performance evaluation results without being separated from the independence and professionalism of the leader.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze how the role of religious leaders in instilling the philosophy of religious militancy behavior of Kaharingan Hindus in Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency. Religion as a belief adhered to by Hindus and used as a guide in carrying out various activities, as well as a torch in carrying out a life full of its complexities. The existence of religion requires the role of religious institutions in fostering people who support development. In line with this, it is necessary to have the role of religious leaders in instilling the philosophy of religious militancy behavior of Kaharingan Hindus. Strategic efforts and roles are needed in providing optimal service and guidance for Kaharingan Hindus. Based on the results of observations in the field there is still a lack of understanding of religious teachings, especially Hindu Kaharingan children who study their religious teachings well and build strong beliefs and foster religious militancy for the younger generation of Hindu Kaharingan. So it is important the role of religious leaders in instilling a philosophy of religious militancy behavior for Kaharingan Hindus. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study include (1) The Role of Religious Leaders in Instilling the Philosophy of Religious Militancy Behavior of the Kaharingan Hindus including the Role of Religious Figures in Increasing Religious Understanding, Increasing Religious Development, Role for the Young Generation of Hindu Kaharingan, and for Women. (2) The meaning of the Philosophy of Religious Militancy Behavior of Kaharingan Hindus in Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency includes, Behavior of Religious Firmness, Behavior of Religious Stability, Behavior of Religious Stability, and Behavior of Religious Consistency.

Abstract

Cultural diversity in Kuripan Village is believed to be a destiny that should not be asked for, but a gift from Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. In improving the quality of religious life, religious people in West Lombok Regency always take a social-religious approach by referring to the gugon tuwon concept which is guided by regional culture and religious literature. The implementation of traditional ceremonies indicates that there is awareness of the importance of local culture in every implementation of religious ceremonies. By implementing local culture, one form of embodiment of the three foundations of Hinduism is through literature (tattwa), morals (susila), and ceremonies (upacara). Thus, a devotional path is needed that brings the Kuripan community to self-improvement both materially and spiritually. In addition, when the Maulud Prophet SAW ceremony, the Hindus help cook, welcome guests, and at the same time attend the invitation together. The existence of a sense of togetherness and brotherhood has implications for communication between citizens that is conducive and mutual respect and understanding of the importance of local customs and culture. In this study using qualitative research by answering questions by examining various activities and social interactions of people in a place and individuals who live in that place (Berg, 2001). The data collection techniques used in this study are: 1) Observation by involving researchers in the daily activities of the object under study, besides that the researcher can observe the object of research in a comprehensive manner; 2). Interviews with the aim of gathering information about the construction of religious moderation tolerance; and 3) Documentation is used in this research to find documents related to research on the construction of religious moderation in Kuripan Utara Village. The results of research on the construction of religious tolerance are friendly/simakrama, mutual assistance and mutual cooperation, the implementation of religious ceremonies, and the assistance of religious institutions. While the factors include history, humanity, religion, culture, and education and their implications through togetherness towards kinship, peace, and unity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Hindu religious education teachers in instilling a philosophy of multicultural education for Hindu students at SMPN 2 Basarang, Kapuas Regency. Indonesia is a multicultural country consisting of different tribes, languages and religions. This diversity on the one hand is an advantage and wealth of the nation that must be maintained. But on the other hand, this diversity can be a potential for conflict in society. Therefore, an understanding of the nation's motto "Unity in Diversity" must be instilled in the younger generation from an early age so that they are able to play a role in maintaining unity amidst a pluralistic nation. one of the efforts that can be realized in response to this problem is to implement the concept of multicultural education in education in Indonesia. With the role of Hindu religious education teachers in instilling a philosophy of multicultural education for Hindu students, it is hoped that they can improve the quality of education and learning for Hindu students at SMPN 2 Basarang. As for educational institutions, it can later be used as a reference in providing education and learning based on multicultural education at SMPN 2 Basarang, Kapuas Regency.

Abstract

A Hindu religious instructur, must be able to implement material and able to communicate well. This study aims to prioritize the implementation of learning with a blended learning model for Communication Science courses, and find the influence of the implementation of the blended learning approach on student learning achievement before and after with a blended learning model. The design of this study uses recycled Classroom Action Research, with the research subjects being students in the second semester of the 2020-2021 in Academic Year. The results of this study show that there is an optimization of the Implementation of the Blended Learning Model in the Communication Science Course in the Hindu Hindu Communication Studies Program STKIP Agama Hindu Singaraja. This can be seen from the average score of pre-test and post-test in cycle I and in cycle II. The average score of pretest in cycle I was 66.07 while the average score of posttest in cycle 1 was 68.93. From this data, it can be interpreted that there has been a significant increase but has not reached the average score target of 7.00. The results of the study in cycle II with an average pre-test score of 72.44 and a post-test score of 77.14. This can be interpreted as a significant increase and has exceeded the target achievement with an achievement score of 77.14. Based on the achievement of post test scores in cycles I and II, it has shown a significant increase from an average score of 68.93 to 77.14 with a gain score of 8.21.

Abstract

Student satisfaction with the services provided by universities is one of the determining factors for success in achieving the vision and mission of the university. The quality of university services to students is seen as one of the tools to achieve a competitive advantage. Universities must take anticipatory steps in facing increasingly competitive competition and are responsible for exploring and improving all aspects of the services offered by universities. This study aimed to analyze the satisfaction level of postgraduate students with the services of Universitas Hindu Negeri (UHN) I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. This study was survey research. The subject was an active postgraduate student at UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research results showed that the total of instruments in each field number of respondents in each field, namely 1140 respondents was in governance, management, and cooperation. Furthermore, 570 respondents were in the student affairs field, and 1482 were in the finance and infrastructure field. Last, 5130 respondents were in the education field, and the total number of respondents in each field was 8322 respondents from 144 correspondences. Furthermore, the researchers converted the overall results of the respondents in percentages with a total of 41.85% very satisfied, 53.83% satisfied, 3.50% doubtful, 0.70% dissatisfied, and 0.12 very dissatisfied. Overall, the total instrument results of the satisfaction level of postgraduate students with the services of the UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar were in the very high category. In terms of service, they have produced a very satisfactory level of satisfaction. The analysis of the Hindu religious education concept on the postgraduate student satisfaction was studied based on the implementation of activities and routines in daily life based on the Sarasamuccaya scripture. It explains the relationship between the concepts of leadership and decency, Geguritan Niti Raja Sasana, Dharma Sevanam, and Bhagawad Gita as well as the teachings of Dharma Sabda and Panca Satya. It was outlined in the governance, management, and cooperation, the field of student affairs, finance, and infrastructure, and education of a postgraduate student at UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar.

Abstract

This paper examines two issues, which are the concept of Brahmān in the Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad from theological and philosophical studies; and the relevance of the concept of Brahmān and multiculturalism in Indonesia. The first study is a theological study to examine the concept of Brahmān based on beliefs that are supported by the truth of the scriptures, while a philosophical study is to understand the concept of Brahman from the aspect of rationality or reason. The philosophical approach is divided into three arguments, namely; ontological, cosmological, and morality. The second study is to find the relevance of the concept of Brahmān, both from a theological and philosophical perspective towards multiculturalism in Indonesia. The results of the study are to provide insight of the concept of Brahmān as well as its values that are relevant to the discourse on Indonesian multiculturalism and its challenges. This study applied a factual historical research model regarding texts with material objects of the Brahmān concept in the Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad. The main data of this study was the Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad, by Radhakrishan. The data was obtained through library research and then processed using an interactive model through the stages of data condensation, data display, drawing, and verifying conclusions. This study used interpretation and description data analysis. The results of this study indicate that Brahmān is the only reality, the highest, and absolute. There are two aspects of Brahmān, the Nirguṇa (transcendent-impersonal) and Saguṇa (immanent-personal) aspects. The concept of Brahmān in the Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad and multiculturalism has relevance and is in the same spirit.
