Abstract

This research investigates the challenges and opportunities in implementing multicultural education within Islamic educational institutions, with a particular focus on integrating inclusivity and diversity into the learning process. The problem addressed in this study is the limited competence of teachers in applying multicultural values, the lack of contextual teaching materials, and the persistence of exclusive cultural resistance among certain local communities. The objective of the research is to identify systemic barriers, analyze their impact on students’ attitudes, and propose practical solutions for fostering a more inclusive educational environment. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, combining literature review, document analysis, and interviews with teachers and students to capture both theoretical and empirical perspectives. The results reveal that despite existing good practices, significant obstacles remain, such as stereotypes among students due to minimal intercultural interaction and weak policy support for multicultural education. However, the study also highlights effective strategies, including teacher training programs, curriculum contextualization, dialogical engagement with local culture, and the creation of inclusive school environments. These findings underscore the need for comprehensive policy reform and sustainable teacher development to strengthen multicultural integration in Islamic education. The research contributes to the discourse on educational reform by offering practical pathways for promoting harmony and respect for diversity within Islamic schooling contexts.

Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan kontemporer menuntut kepala sekolah menerapkan supervisi berbasis kepemimpinan transformasional untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja guru. Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen supervisi kepemimpinan transformasional yang valid dan praktis dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Sabbang. Metode Research and Development mengintegrasikan model Rattray & Jones dengan pendekatan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Sabbang. Instrumen dikembangkan berbasis Google Form mengukur empat dimensi kepemimpinan transformasional dan kinerja guru. Validasi ahli menghasilkan validitas isi sangat tinggi: materi 94%, bahasa 93%, digital 96%. Uji validitas konstruk pada 20 responden menunjukkan seluruh indikator memiliki Corrected Item-Total Correlation > 0,30 dengan reliabilitas Cronbach's Alpha 0,841. Praktikalitas instrumen mencapai 98% berdasarkan penilaian kepala sekolah. Instrumen supervisi kepemimpinan transformasional terbukti valid, reliabel, dan praktis untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the difficulty of students in Klaten District Gugus IV to understand division material. Through preliminary studies and small-scale research, a learning model that can help students in reasoning to improve thinking skills was found. The model is a brain-based learning model integrated with an active learning approach. Due to the collaboration and implementation of this model and approach, students experienced an increase in the results of mathematical reasoning ability by 28.11. This research was conducted in grade 3 of SDN 1 Mundu with 30 students in each experimental and control class group. Through the independent test, a significance of 0.000 was obtained from the implementation of the brain-based learning model with an active learning approach which states that there is a significant effect on changes in students' mathematical reasoning ability.

Abstract

Penggunaan media digital dalam pendidikan mengalami perkembangan pesat seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi. Dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing, termasuk Bahasa Jerman, media digital tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat komunikasi tetapi juga menjadi instrumen instruksional yang memudahkan proses pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media digital sebagai alat komunikasi instruksional dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Jerman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dengan mengkaji penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya mengenai efektivitas media digital dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media digital, seperti aplikasi pembelajaran, video pembelajaran, dan platform kolaboratif, efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, kemampuan komunikasi, dan keterampilan bahasa siswa. Dengan demikian, media digital menjadi alat yang penting dalam mendukung pembelajaran Bahasa Jerman di era digital.
