<![CDATA[The purpose of this study includes two parts. First to give an exposition to the holistic ministry of the Messiah in Isaiah 61: 1-3. Second, provide an explanation of the implications of this holistic service for services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative with inductive characteristics of literature study. Isaiah 61: 1-3 describes the holistic ministry of the Messiah by preaching good news, preaching deliverance, announcing the year of God's grace, comforting, and giving joy to the people. The implications for services during the pandemic are evangelism services, social services, spiritual services, and Diakonia services. All forms of services are adapted to pandemic conditions by utilizing technology that is currently developing. ]]>

<![CDATA[Character education is one of the important things in shaping, building and developing children's character. Character education for children starts from the family. The family is the first and foremost institution for laying the foundation of character to children. It is from the family that children first learn about Christian values. The family is the first place where children get teachings and role models about good character. Good character education obtained in the family will bring each child to an understanding of the true self-image. If a teenager does not find a picture of himself that matches the truth, then what will form on him is a false image of himself. The mistake about self-image will lead teenagers to be inferior, hopeless, feeling useless and unconcerned or other negative feelings. If a teenager has the correct self-image in a charismatic perspective, the teenager will understand that his life is extraordinary created in the image and likeness of God (Gen. 1:26-27), as a person created specifically by God (Ps. 139: 13-16), as a creation that is guarded and guided by God because they are the seeds of God's eyes (Deut. 32: 9-10). The results of this study are, first, the level of character education in the family in GBT KAO Boja is in a very high category with a percentage value 83,956%. Second, the level of understanding of self-image of teenagers in the charismatic perspective in GBT KAO Boja is in the very high category with a percentage value of 87.238%. Third, it is found there is a relationship between character education in the family towards understanding self-image of teenagers in GBT KAO Boja.]]>

<![CDATA[In the life of a Christian, the Holy Spirit has a very important role. In every detail of their lives, Christians believe that the Holy Spirit directs and guides them. Worship of God by Christians includes those directed and guided by the Holy Spirit. But there are still Christians who prioritize and think about external or worldly things as the main requirement to be able to worship God. Nowadays, worship is mostly done with online worship procedures. However, online worship gets a less religious impression when compared to worship that is carried out in person in a church building. The Apostle Paul emphasized in Philippians 3:3 that every Christian can worship only because of God's grace and also because of the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Christians should no longer depend on external things to come to worship God. This study is a qualitative research using inductive exegesis research methods and bibliography. This study examines the phrase “who worship God in the Spirit†found in Philippians 3:3. The results of the study obtained are: First, Christians experience very strong pressure and temptation to think about external things in worshiping God. Second, Christians must prioritize a spiritual life led by the Holy Spirit in their worship of God, because worship is a gift from God. Both of these results prove that worship carried out using online procedures has the same religious value as worship carried out in church buildings.]]>

<![CDATA[Pentecostals always interpret the activity of the Holy Spirit in the Acts of the Apostles based on the phenomena recorded by Luke as describing the charismatic acts of God, namely anointing and empowering believers for evangelistic activities and divine service. This article specifically discusses the work of the Spirit of God from the perspective of the book of Acts. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature review approach, namely analyzing various scientific literatures and books related to the subject, and then the results are presented descriptively. Based on a comprehensive investigation of the Acts of the Apostles narrative, it is concluded that Luke focuses more on the activity of the charismatic Spirit of God as a tool or power for effective testimony and ministry, not soteriology. This charismatic activity of the Spirit of God is not only experiential, but also functional to fulfill the vocation of evangelism and ministry.]]>

<![CDATA[Hasil lembaga riset Barna Research 57 %  anak umur18-29 tahun sudah tidak rutin beribadah. Sedangkan survey Bilangan Research pada rentang usia 15-18 tahun, remaja yang tidak rutin beribadah 7.7%, meningkat menjadi 10.2% pada usia 19-22 tahun, dan mencapai 13.7% pada usia 23-25 tahun. Tingkat keperdulian mereka terhadap Tuhan dan ibadah menurun drastis. Gereja lokal kehilangan cara menggembalakan mereka. Penatalayanan penggembalaan tidak berkembang secara linier terhadap perkembangan media sosial. Bagaimana penggembalaan yang seharusnya? Strategi seperti apa pelayanan penggembalaan tatap muka dan ruang virtual? Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengembalikan fungsi penggembalaan yang berkualitas dan menjembatani penatalayan penggembalaan gereja lokal dengan dunia virtual. <![CDATA[AbstractThe gifts of the Spirit are understood as things given by the Holy Spirit to believers. However, they are often seen as something to be proud of. Also, there is a view that there are types of gifts of the Spirit which are more important and more spectacular than others. This study aims to find out what the real significance of the gifts of the Spirit in the ministry in the Corinthian church are through biblical qualitative methodology. <![CDATA[This study discusses parental education in disciplining children in Hebrews 12:5-11. There are errors in parenting patterns in disciplining children, causing acts of violence in the family, and this has a bad impact on children which is reflected in bad and difficult child behavior. Parents must understand the how to discipline their children properly and correctly based on the truth of God's Word. This study uses a qualitative method, especially a literature study approach, which is to collect data for analysis and is assisted by exposition approach to find the meaning in Hebrews 12:5-11. The results of the study revealed that the act of educating children is evidence of parental love, so parents must warn their children. If in disciplining children, there is an action to punish the child, then it is intended to bring good to the child; thus discipline is not to hurt but to give peace. The concept of education in the form of discipline, punishment, and instruction is aimed at shaping children's character for the better. Thus, the purpose of this study is to find the best way to discipline children, especially through the study of the interpretation of Hebrews 12:5-11.]]>

The method used in this research is qualitative with the type of case study. The results of the research are that the principle of discipline includes the respondent's understanding of the meaning and importance of discipline for positive things. The purpose of discipline is the reason for regular work in the office and the lack of violations that occur. The principle of discipline carried out by the Lord Jesus is the reason for doing work in the office.]]>
