Abstract

The quality of a nation is determined by its intelligence and knowledge, while intelligence and knowledge are generated by how much knowledge it obtains. Knowledge is obtained from information which acquire verbally or in writing. Literacy skills are one of the most important needs for individuals to be compete in the 21st Century. The literacy rate of a nation is directly shows to the country’s people quality. The extent of a person's interest in reading books influences a person's views, thought patterns and behavior. UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno has a bulk loan service as a means of information for users who are geographically far from the library to obtain permanent information so that they can achieve the vision and mission of the library to improve reading culture in the community by lending books in bulk to institutions, agencies and reading parks so that they can used optimally. Bulk loan's work results report from year to year states that the highest number of service users are students with up to 80% of all users. This case was inspiring the author to conduct research to design a business model as an innovation for equal distribution of bulk loan services so that they can reach people from various circles and backgrounds. The results of the research succeeded in formulating a business canvas model for Reading Rooms in Coffee Shops, which is a collaboration between the Bulkloan service of the UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno as a provider of book collections and the Coffee shops as providers of space and management of reading rooms

Abstract

Organisasi atau instansi baik pemerintah maupun swasta harus bisa meningkatkan kualitas kinerja pegawai yang dimiliki. Jika jasa yang diterima atau dirasakan (perceived service) sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, maka kualitas kinerja dipersepsikan baik dan memuaskan, jika jasa yang diterima melampaui harapan konsumen, maka kualitas kerja dipersepsikan sangat baik dan berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mengetahui dan menganalisis kompetensi, pengembangan, dan motivasi secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, (2) Mengetahui dan menganalisis kompetensi secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai, (3) Mengetahui dan menganalisis pengembangan secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai, (4) Mengetahui dan menganalisis motivasi secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai dimasa terhadap kinerja pegawai, (5) Mengetahui dan menganalisis variabel kompetensi, pengembangan, dan motivasi manakah yang paling berpengaruh dominan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif yaitu analisis terhadap data yang telah diberi skor sesuai dengan skala pengukuran yang telah ditetapkan dengan menggunakan formula-formula statistik. Analisis yang digunakan terhadap data yang berwujud angka-angka. Sedangkan uji kualitas menggunakan (1) Analisis Statistik Deskriptif, (2) Analisis Verifikatif. (3) Uji Asumsi Klasik (4) Analisis Regresi Berganda, dan (5) Pengujian Hipotesis, (6) Analisis Koefisien Determinasi (R2)Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kompetensi, Pengembangan, dan Motivasi secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (2) Kompetensi secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (3) Pengembangan secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (4) Motivasi secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (5) Kompetensi mempunyai pengaruh yang paling dominan terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at the Directorate General of Cipta Karya, Ministry of Public Works. The research aims to determine the extent to which these two factors contribute to employee performance. A quantitative associative research approach was used, with primary and secondary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents. The study employed a saturated sampling technique, ensuring that all members of the population participated. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The findings indicate that work discipline and work motivation both have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, both individually and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that 97% of employee performance is influenced by these two factors, while the remaining 3% is affected by other variables. These results highlight the importance of maintaining high discipline and motivation to optimize employee performance and contribute to organizational success.

Abstract

In the current digitalization era, advances in information technology are developing very rapidly. In order to create optimal, efficient and effective control and supervision of state property management, this study aims to: (1) To determine and analyze the management development of state property as an effort to improve educational services at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 7 Tulungagung. (2) To find out and analyze the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the management development of state property as an effort to improve educational services at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 7 Tulungagung. This study uses a qualitative analysis method, namely research that seeks to find and obtain in-depth information from the amount of information. While the quality test uses (1) Data collection, (2) Data reduction, (3) Data display, and (4) Conclusion (verification). The results of the study indicate that: (1) Management Development of State Property as an Effort to Improve Education Services at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 7 Tulungagung , includes: (a) Planning, (b) Procurement, (c) Maintenance, and (d) Deletion. (2) Supporting factors, include: (a) SOP and policies, (b) Optimizing the Utilization of BMN, (c) Adding HR for Appraisers, (d) Regulation Evaluation. While inhibiting factors, include: (a) Not all assets that can be utilized have been inventoried, (b) HR that is not yet reliable and professional including the lack of HR for appraisers, (c) BMN management is not optimal (administration, security, maintenance, security and utilization), (d) Not all utilization cooperation has been made SOP and regulations that are not in accordance with existing conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Competence, Motivation and Compensation on the Performance of Librarians in UPT. Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno. Librarian performance is the implementation of the functions required of a librarian, both deeds, achievements, and skills in completing work. Competence is the main requirement in performance, because with competence, librarians will complete their assigned work well. While motivation is a reason or drive for someone to do something. Compensation will have a positive impact on the institution. For employees, compensation can meet the needs of life. In this study, the author uses a quantitative approach. The sample took the entire population, which amounted to 56 librarians. In this study, indicators and variables of indicators and competency variables showed 3.92, for motivation showed 3.97. compensation shows 3.95 and Performance shows 3.88. The average value of the variables of competence, motivation, compensation and performance is in the medium category. To find out the relationship between variables, simple regression analysis and multiple linear regression were used. The results of the study showed that there was an influence both individually and together on the variables of Competence, motivation and compensation on the performance of UPT. Abstract

A library’s transformation based on social inclusion can be understood as a library that offers information services open to a whole community with a variety of backgrounds, characteristics, abilities, status, condition, ethnicity and culture to develop its own potential to support economic well-being. This qualitative research was carried out at UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno Library to find out the implementation of transformation of library based on social inclusion, obstacles encountered and efforts to optimize in order to improve the well-being of the public. The results of the research indicate that library transformation base on social inclusiveness has been well implemented with some obstacles the number of participants exceeds the available capacity, budget constraints, the distribution of participants is not even, including not reaching disability, the limitation of competent sources, the absence of training or refreshment to the committee (SDM), limited activities in training, not continuing on the accompaniment of management, marketing, until market availability according to product segments or business matching, and the stigma of the community that the library is an exclusive place raises reluctance to visit. The optimization of the library transformation program based on social inclusion has been carried out in a manner; conducted pre and post test as well as public satisfaction survey on the implementation of library Transformation activities based on Social inclusion, measurement of success rates and search of impact story data of the training results followed, conducted evaluation process of each end of the activity to see the existing shortcomings and then improved on the subsequent activities, performed a study on the impact of the resulting of the activities of the transformation of libraries based on social inclusion on the community who become participants of such activities, as well new improvements every year.

Abstract

The success of the goal of education in madrasah depends on the educational resources owned. Madrasah which is a religious-based educational institution has complex and abundant resources. This study aims: (1) To analyze teacher competence partially influencing the learning motivation of students of MTsN 1 Kota Blitar. (2) To analyze the madrasah environment partially influencing the learning motivation of students of MTsN 1 Kota Blitar. (3) To analyze teacher competence and madrasah environment simultaneously influencing the learning motivation of students of MTsN 1 Kota Blitar. (4) To analyze the variables of teacher competence and madrasah environment that have a dominant influence on the learning motivation of students of MTsN 1 Kota Blitar. This study uses a quantitative analysis method, namely analysis of data that has been scored according to the measurement scale that has been determined using statistical formulas. The analysis used is data in the form of numbers. While the quality test uses (1) Descriptive statistical analysis, (2) Verification analysis. (3) Classical assumption test (4) Multiple regression analysis, and (5) Hypothesis testing, (6) Determination Coefficient Analysis (R2). The results of the study indicate that: (1) Teacher Competence partially has a significant influence on Student Learning Motivation at MTsN 1 Kota Blitar. (2) Madrasah Environment partially has a significant influence on Student Learning Motivation at MTsN 1 Kota Blitar. (3) Teacher Competence and Madrasah Environment simultaneously have a significant influence on Student Learning Motivation at MTsN 1 Kota Blitar. (4) Teacher Competence has the most dominant influence on Student Learning Motivation at MTsN 1 Kota Blitar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of human resource quality, the role of village officials, and internal control systems on the accountability of Village Fund management. The main issue underlying this research is the low level of accountability in village financial management, which affects transparency and public trust. This study employs a quantitative approach with a sample of 75 respondents consisting of village officials and youth organization members in Sukamanah Village. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that all three independent variables human resource quality, the role of village officials, and internal control systems have a positive and significant influence on the accountability of Village Fund management. These findings highlight that strengthening the capacity of village officials and implementing an effective internal control system are strategic steps in establishing transparent and sustainable village financial governance. This research is expected to provide useful insights for village governments and other stakeholders in efforts to improve the accountability of Village Fund management

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of Inspectorate apparatus resources and the factors that influence the management of apparatus resources as well as describe the steps for implementing regional guidance and supervision policies towards regional apparatus in realizing good governance. Data was obstained from interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the Kediri Regency Inspectorate in realizing good governance has strenghthened supervision by increasing apparatus resources through a management function approach including planning, organizing, directing and supervising. Factors that influence include infrastructure, adequate budget for increasing competence, routine and mandatory tasks and increasing the capabilities of the Inspectorate. The Kediri Regency Inspectorate has implemented regional guidance and supervision policies for regional officials into the Annual Supervision Work Program every year.

Abstract

The rapid development of the global market in recent decades has brought significant changes in various industrial sectors including the banking sector. Tight competition in the banking sector encourages companies to carry out creative and innovative marketing in attracting and retaining credit customers. Brand Image and Credit Interest Rates are two elements that are very influential in the competition in the Indonesian banking sector today. Banks strive to strengthen their Brand Image by providing good service. At the same time, they also compete fiercely in offering competitive Credit Interest Rates. This study aims to examine the effect of Brand Image and Credit Interest Rates on increasing credit customers at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Kediri Branch Office. This research method uses Interviews and Questionnaires analyzed with the SPSS V.29 application. The results of the interviews showed that Brand Image and Credit Interest Rates had a significant influence on increasing credit customers. The results of the multiple linear regression test showed an R Square value of 0.652, which means that 65.2% of the variance in Increasing Credit Customers can be explained by the Brand Image and Credit Interest Rate variables, while 34.8% is explained by other variables. At the end of the study, BNI Kediri Branch Office has succeeded in increasing credit customers through effective Brand Image and Credit Interest Rate strategies, with a superior Brand Image based on the CCSL Survey and competitive credit interest rates. A more structured understanding is needed so that credit customers become optimally loyal.
