Abstract

CV Irma is one of the traditional cracker processing industries located in the city of Bekasi. The production process of processing these crackers is still carried out traditionally. This can cause gaps in the occurrence of work accidents due to processes and ways of working that still use manual processes. The purpose of this study is to provide proposals for K3 risk control to minimize the potential dangers and risks that exist in the cracker production process. The study was conducted using the HIRADC (Hazard Identifcation, Risk Assessment and Determining Control) and FTA (fault tree analysis) methods to determine the root cause of a kerrja accident with a high risk value. The results of this study were obtained to be able to reduce the risk level of the existing potential hazards, from the high, medium, and low value risk levels from the comparison before and after control.

Abstract

The sub-zone 5 communal sewerage pipeline construction project has been carried out and has onlybeen realized 41% with physical development of 35% in the 2016 Regional Capital Investment FiscalYear. This project is a project implemented to improve domestic wastewater services from tourismfacilities, hotels, and other public facilities. The treatment system used is a centralized or communalpiping system as well as expanding the wastewater pipe network system in tourist areas. Based on this,a research is needed on the risks that occur during project development. The research was carried outthrough interviews with experienced and skilled personnel, making and distributing questionnaires,testing the results of questionnaire data by testing the validity and reliability of the risks that occurredin the implementation of this project development. The risk obtained in this study is 71. specifications andaddendum provided by the owner), including unacceptable, 50 (70.42%) risk ( quality concrete Pile Anchorge thatdoes not comply with the specifications approved) including undesirable, 9 (12.68%) risk (operational andoverhead costs are high) including acceptable, 4 (5.63%) risk (the use of the funds out of contract) includingnegligible. Risk mitigation is only given to major risk include risk unacceptable and undesirable risk. Abstract

Although quite a few studies have focused on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)-related issues within the context of sustainable building construction projects, there has been dearth of a study developing a management framework to comprehensively identify, analyze, evaluate, and control the safety risks threatening the involved Building Construction Workers. Risk is always present in every construction project. Occupational safety and health risks in building construction projects have various risks and are likely to be affected due to their difficulty and multiple operations and threats. Risk factors are divided into three categories, namely internal factors, projects, and external factors. Three categories above is further divided into two technical and non-technical risk. This paper review 40 selected papers that discuss risk identification and risk management in residential construction projects. Risk factors in residential projects are generally very diverse and give us an idea that the interrelationships between the parties with an interest in the project contribute to the risk factors themselves occurring the course of the project. It has been mentioned that the risk factors that occur in residential projects is something that is commonplace in various countries, in this case contributing to the success of the project. Outline on this paper has succeeded in providing information on the extent to which risk factors are currently occurring and there is a high potential for a change in the percentage of risk factors according to the classifications presented in this journal for other construction projects in the future.

Abstract

PD PSJ is a company engaged in the distribution of foodstuffs and basic needs, especially the people of Jakarta. Along with the government's program related to the procurement of KJP cheap foodstuffs, the KJP food distribution process is in collaboration with PD PSJ. KJP food distribution activities are carried out throughout the DKI Jakarta area, including the Thousand Islands. In the process, there were several obstacles experienced by the officers. To reduce the risk of a late KJP food distribution supply, management carried out several policies related to risk management. The House of Risk (HOR) method is one of the methods to identify several activities and risks that can occur in the supply chain process of goods. This research applies the HOR method to obtain recommendations for improvements in the process of distributing KJP goods. The results of data processing and analysis using the HOR method obtained the greatest recommendation for improvement is to conduct training to field officers and improve communication both internally and externally.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry is a group whose main activities are to produce and process raw or semifinished materials into goods that are ready for use. Analysis of the application of work systems is very important to apply before carrying out mass production. The principles used must lead to the expected ergonomics and productivity. This study aims to identify and analyze related to the design of work systems in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. This research method was carried out starting from the collection of articles, processing, and analysis of these articles using an analytical system. The data sources used are articles in the 2012-2022 timeframe. The results of this study found that the most published years of research were 2018 and 2022 with 5 articles each. Based on the industry, the most frequently found was the type of industry engaged in the construction sector, with 10 articles. The contribution of this research is to provide convenience for other researchers as a reference in compiling articles on work systems in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

Naturally there is no object made by humans that cannot be demagerd. and over time, there are many changes both physically and financially in the finished building but its useful life can be extended by carrying out regular repairs through an activity known as maintenance. . The purpose of this study was to determine the type of risk, location and year of research related to risks in building maintenance. The method used in this study is a literature review. 45 Journals obtained online from various sources with the keywords risk on building maintenance. From these journals, it can be concluded that the highest type of risk in building maintenance is internal technical risk and project technicality, where most research locations are carried out in Indonesia and the most research year is in 2020.

Abstract

The development of an infrastructure in the region can have the effect of increasing people's access to resources so that the increase in productivity can encourage economic growth. Ports as sea transportation infrastructure have a very important and strategic role for industrial and trade growth and are business segments that can contribute to the economy and national development because they are part of the chain of transportation and logistics systems. For this reason, a risk analysis is needed so that the implementation of port construction can be completed on time, in terms of cost, quality and time. This study aims to analyze the risk of port construction using a systematic literature review method. Based on research results, risk in port construction projects is influenced by external non technical (22.807%), technical project (21.053%), external technical (21.053%), internal technical (18.421%), internal non technical (8.772%) and non technical project (7.895%).

Abstract

Risk is defined as an uncertain event or condition that, if it occurs, can have either a positive or negative effect on the project objectives. This effect can be avoided by using risk management methods, to identify risks, assessing risks either quantitatively or qualitatively, and choosing the appropriate method for handling risks will minimalized the effects. In the study, the scope was to identify the potential risk occurs on steel building work based on the previous research. Using sources based on the previous research, here will be identifying what types of risk factors are most commonly occurs for steel building work. The types of risk that will be discussed here will be divided into three types based on internal risk, external risk, and project risk. Each type of risk includes technical and non-technical risks. Based on the data this study identify that internal risk with technical aspects is the most common type of potential risk occurs on steel structure building work.

Abstract

The process of substantive patent examination which is complicated and takes a long time is one of the reasons the inventor is "reluctant" to apply for a patent on his invention. This research was conducted using the Current State Value Stream Mapping (CSVSM) method, which began with the creation of a process flow map with the cycle time of each activity. It is known that most of the activities are value added activities. However, there is 1 activity that is required but not added value, namely the activity of verifying the technical field of application documents; and 1 non-value-added activity, namely initialing the Patent Granting letter. The number of waiting/delaying incidents is a waste in the process of substantive examination of patent applications caused by: (a) employees generally do double work; and (b) the absence of SOPs in each sub-process/sub-activity in the process of substantive examination of patent applications. Proposed improvements are submitted in the Future State Value Stream Mapping (FSVSM). As a result, lead-time can be reduced to 11 days, which was originally 26 days; and Process Cycle Efficiency which was originally 19.23% increased to 45.45%

Abstract

Manufacturing industry companies are always faced with productivity, quality and delivery problems as demanded from customers, PT. XYZ is engaged in manufacturing various aluminum profile products during the 2020 period, the company experienced a type 2500 extrusion machine downtime of 9807 minutes, exceeding the company's standard of 7800 minutes a year, this is one of the causes of a decline in production. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the machine using the OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) method, to increase the productivity of the type 2500 extrusion machine from the results of the six big losses analysis to identify the main cause of the downtime of the type 2500 extrusion machine. The results show that the overall equipment effectiveness measurement is obtained the average Avaibility Ratio presentation is 92.24%, Performance Ratio is 49.56% and Quality Rate is 99.72% so that the average overall equipment effectiveness value is 45.61% where this value is still below the average ideal value overall equipment effectiveness is 85%. The results of the measurement of six big losses obtained the results of downtime values: equipment failure losses 3.81%, setup and adjustment losses 3.95%, speed losses: idle and minor stoppage 3.03%, reduce speed losses 46.51%, quality losses: defect losses 0.13%, reduced yield 0% , from these data it is known that the main problem is in the speed losses section with the highest loss in reduce speed losses of 46.51%. The factors that dominate the main cause of downtime for the 2500 extrusion machine are log heater, puller, dummi block, loader, finish cut saw, stem, and table.
