Abstract

The Lecturer Program for Assisting Excellent Human Resources (PDPSU) is one of the schemes in the community service activity (PKM)  at the university which was carried out by the FKIP Lecturer Team from the University of Palangka Raya (UPR). This PKM-PDPSU activity was conducted for ten elementary school teachers and five prospective elementary school teachers in Palangkaraya City through coaching clinic activities in the form of training and mentoring in workshops and intensive counseling services in virtual zoom cloud meetings. The aim of this PKM-PDPSU activity is to support the superior human resources of the prospective elementary school teachers in terms of skills in writing scientific papers in the form of PTK and compiling scientific publication articles. The coaching clinic method uses an integrated direct instruction-communication approach, which will be implemented from October 2023 to February 2024. The science and technology provided by the implementation of this PKM-PDPSU activity can improve the professional knowledge and skills of elementary school teachers and prospective teachers in the field of writing scientific papers in the form of PTK. This improvement is achieved through the ability to conduct classroom action research activities and prepare reports, as well as write scientific articles and publish them in scientific journals. This is also proven by the evaluation results of the activities and performance of the participants of the coaching clinic, namely an average of 85.3 with a completion percentage of 100%. This is the conclusion that the PKM-PDPSU activities conducted by the faculty team of FKIP Palangka Raya University in 2023/2024 have been well conducted.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi saat ini menghasilkan berbagai jenis media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang praktis dan dapat diakses dimana saja adalah media pembelajaran berbasis web, yaitu memanfaatkan teknologi internet dalam implementasiannya. Perubahan kurikulum menjadi Kurikulum Merdeka mulai diberlakukan di Indonesia secara bertahap. Khususnya di SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya, Kurikulum Merdeka mulai diberlakukan untuk kelas X tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sejalan dengan karakteristik Kurikulum Merdeka, yaitu berpusat pada peserta didik dan memberikan kebebasan memilih metode pembelajaran yang sesuai, maka media pembelajaran berbasis web memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung keefektifan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis web pada pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka di SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa bahwa perlu adanya pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis web dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya khususnya pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Desain Komunikasi Visual yang didukung dari segi fasilitas sekolah dan karakteristik peserta didik.

Abstract

Menjawab tantangan pembelajaran berbasis digital maka diperlukan sebuah media belajar berbasis digital yang dapat meningkatkan performa belajar siswa. Media belajar berbasis multimedia yang menarik dari audio maupun visualnya. Selain audio dan visual yang merangsang panca indra siswa, media belajar tersebut juga harus bersifat interaktif yang mengedepankan kerjasama, komunikasi dan interaksi antar siswa sehingga pembelajaran lebih powerful. Media pembelajaran Kahoot ini dirasa tepat digunakan karena ketika proses belajar berlangsung akan ada dimana siswa merasa tidak tertarik dengan media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru. Biasanya guru hanya melakukan suatu pembelajaran yang monoton sehingga proses belajar yang dialami oleh siswa menjadi jenuh dan akhirnya akan berpengaruh terhadap perolehan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Kahoot terhadap hasil belajar animasi siswa SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas XI Multimedia A SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya tahun pelajaran 2023/2024berjumlah 33 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data, yaitu tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan uji t Sampel Paired Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media Kahoot terhadap hasil belajar animasi Siswa SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan menggunakan program SPSS diperoleh nilai uji thitung sebesar Sig 0,000 < 0,05. Maka berdasarkan kriteria pengujian dapat dikatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang berarti bahwa penggunaan media Kahoot berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar animasi Siswa SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low value of student learning outcomes in designing Indonesian literature appreciation learning based on local wisdom in the digital era. In fact, integrating digital technology into learning has become part of students' competence as prospective 21st century learning teachers. The aim of this research is to improve students' ability to design Indonesian literature appreciation learning based on local wisdom in the digital era by applying the TPACK concept. The classroom action research method using Kurt Lewin's four-step model was applied in this research. The research subjects were 40 fourth semester students at the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at Palangka Raya University. The research results show the success of increasing student learning outcomes which is very significant. In the pre-action stage the average student score was still at 57.5 with 12.5% completion, after the action in cycle I the student score reached an average of 71.25 with a completion percentage of 75% and after the action in In cycle II, the average student score reached 80 with a completion percentage of 92.5%. In conclusion, the TPACK concept applied by the lecturer team during class action was able to increase student learning achievement scores by 22.5 and increase the percentage of completion by up to 80%.

Abstract

This study explores a product system for speech recognition, which is termed Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), developed through research and development (R&D) method by adapting the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The product yielded through this research is an ASR system embedded into a website for the practice of speaking English as a foreign language (EFL) for students at the intermediate English level. Before the product was developed, researchers had conducted a need analysis to ensure that the product was needed as a learning support tool for English-speaking practice. After that, the feasibility of the product was measured through the evaluation of two independent experts from two fields of expertise: the expert of information and communication technology (ICT), and the expert of technology-enhanced language learning (TELL). Twenty-two EFL students were invited purposively to assess the ASR system during the trial to users. Results show that the ASR system proves to be a valuable educational tool, offering accessibility, usability, and interactive feedback that enhance user engagement and support language learning. However, this study has a significant problem, which is the inconsistency of speech recognition accuracy, particularly the speech from non-native speakers of English

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya jaman, buku tidak lagi menjadi salah satu sumber dan media belajar. Tetapi dengan kecanggihan teknologi tersebut peserta didik juga bisa mengakses aplikasi atau media web pembelajaran seperti media web atau aplikasi Brainly. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Aplikasi Brainly Terhadap Minat Belajar Kelas XI SMK Negeri 4 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh Aplikasi Brainly Terhadap Minat Belajar Kelas XI SMK Negeri 4 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Berdasarkan pemaparan tesebut, maka penulis merasa sangat tertarik untuk mengambil judul “Pengaruh Aplikasi Brainly Terhadap Minat Belajar Kelas XI SMKN 4 Palangka Raya Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023” Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas XI Multimedia 1 dengan jumlah 31 orang, XI Multimedia 2 dengan jumlah 31 orang dan XI Multimedia 3 dengan jumlah 25 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : (1) Terdapat pengaruh antara aplikasi brainly terhadap minat belajar di SMK Negeri 4 Palangkaraya tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan data yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, maka diperoleh hasil thitung > ttabel (2,935>1,987) dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,004 < 0,05. Kemudian berdasarkan nilai rhitung > rtabel diperoleh sebesar (0,303 > 0,210). (2) Berdasarkan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar sebesar 9,2% yang tingkat pengaruhnya sangat lemah terhadap minat belajar. Sedangkan sisanya sebesar 90,8% (100-9,2%) terdapat di faktor lain atau varibel lain yang mempengaruhi minat belajar selain dari aplikasi brainly.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe student learning and teaching activities as well as the improvement of learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by instructional videos in the subject of Pancasila Education. The background of this study was conventional and monotonous classroom practices which lowered students’ motivation and performance. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using Kurt Lewin’s model in two cycles. The subjects were five third-grade students of SDN 12 Palangka. The results showed an increase in students’ average scores from 67 (pre-test) to 79.5 (cycle I) and 92.5 (cycle II). Classical completeness also increased from 40% to 100%. Both teacher and student activities improved to the “very good” category. Thus, the implementation of the PBL model assisted by video effectively enhanced students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education.

Abstract

Packaging design is a crucial aspect of product development because it plays a significant role in enhancing product appeal and expanding market reach. However, many businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), still face limitations in comprehensive packaging design. This community service activity aims to improve the graphic design skills of members of the Putra Farm Company Farmers Group in Tambun Raya Village, Central Kalimantan, through training on the use of the Canva application in creating product packaging designs. The method used was a participatory approach through the stages of problem identification, training material development, training implementation, evaluation, mentoring, and documentation. The training results showed a significant increase in participants' ability to use Canva, with all participants able to produce product packaging designs independently. Improvements were also seen in their understanding of the importance of packaging in marketing and the competitiveness of local products. This activity has had a positive impact on market expansion and increasing the selling value of the farmer group's products. This program demonstrates that utilizing simple and accessible graphic design technology like Canva can be an effective solution to support the economic independence of rural communities.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan sumber belajar dapat melengkapi, memelihara dan memperkaya pengetahuan, selain itu sumber belajar juga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan kreativitas belajar baik bagi pendidik maupun bagi peserta didik. Komponen yang termasuk sumber belajar adalah pemanfaatan sdm sebagai sumber belajar, yaitu tenaga pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar seperti pemanfaatan media sekitar seperti internet, jurnal elektronik, komputer, dan lcd proyektor, pemanfaatan bahan tertulis seperti buku teks. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa program studi yang masih berkuliah di semester Ganjil 2023/2024. Dengan menggunakan angket untuk memperoleh data, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji persentase. Dari hasil penelitian, berdasarkan indicator yang digunakan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum, pemanfaatan jurnal elektronik sebagai sumber belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan sudah mencapai hasil yang baik, dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 82,7%.

Abstract

This PKM-PM was held at SMPN SATAP 8 Palangka Raya, Tumbang Rungan Village, Kec. Pahandut, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan Province. The geographical condition of SMPN SATAP 8 Palangka Raya is on the Tumbang Rungan road with an area of 1,035 M². The distance from Palangka Raya University to SMPN SATAP 8 Palangka Raya is 13.4 Kilometers. This school is located within the work area of the Palangka Raya City Education Office, Central Kalimantan Province. SMPN SATAP 8 Palangka Raya has 12 teachers with civil servant status based on observations, while the problems that can be encountered in this area are the lack of learning media used by teachers in teaching, in addition to the lack of computer laboratory facilities as an effort to improve skills in utilizing technology. Through training, teachers can apply and use the skills that have been trained to facilitate their work in the administrative and academic fields at school. The expected output of this service is that teachers can apply and use the skills that have been trained to create and develop interesting and interactive teaching materials through the Powerpoint application, as well as improve the skills of teachers in utilizing technology-based media as a form of professionalism at work.
