This research is motivated by the large number of students who have not achieved learning outcomes, one of the reasons is that learning media still uses worksheets, which results in students not understanding the electric motor installation practicum using VSD. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of electric motor installation jobsheets using VSD at SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat. Student learning outcomes are still low due to learning media factors that are not diverse in creating interest in learning and guiding students' active roles. Therefore, it is necessary to do research on the application of learning media in the form of job sheets to see the effectiveness of student learning outcomes. The type of experimental research that categorizes pre-experimental design uses the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were class XII TITL students at SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat in the 2023 academic year consisting of 18 students. Collecting data using a test instrument in the form of objective questions. Initial pretest values are generated from daily test scores and posttest scores as data after applying the learning jobsheet. The data obtained were analyzed using classical completeness, Effect Size, and Normalized Gain. The results showed that the average pretest score was 72.00 and the posttest average value was 81.41. The classical completeness score exceeds the minimum score of 88.8%. Meanwhile, the value obtained by the Effect Size is 1.28 in the large category. Effect size shows the magnitude of the influence of a treatment on two variables and is the most important unit of research results. The N-Gain value is obtained with moderate criteria. From the results of the above study, it can be concluded that the jobsheet for Electric Motor Installation Using VSD is effectively used as teaching material in the subject of Electric Motor Installation Using VSD at SMKN 1 Sumatera Barat.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the project-based learning model and student learning outcomes after implementing learning using the PJBL model in basic electromechanical work subjects at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Student learning outcomes are still low which is caused by learning factors that are still teacher-centered, thus affecting student learning outcomes in the cognitive and psychomotor domains. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a project-based learning model to find out how effective this learning model is on student learning outcomes. This research uses a type of experimental research which is categorized into a type of quasi-experimental research with a one-group pretest posttest design. The object of this research is the project-based learning model and the effectiveness of its application on student learning outcomes in basic electromechanical work subjects. The subjects of this research were students of class X TITL SMKN 5 Padang. The research instruments used were pretest and posttest questions in objective form and practical assessment sheets. Based on the average score of the posttest and practice worksheets, it is in the high category. Therefore, the application of project-based learning as a learning model in basic electromechanical work subjects is said to be effective because the classical value and effect size are included in the high category.

This study aims to determine the impact of interactive media on improving student learning outcomes and the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes after the application of Articulate Storyline interactive media in electrical power installation subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Mandau. The type of research used is experimental research with a One Group Pretest Posttest design, the subjects of this study were students of class XI TITL 1 SMK Negeri 1 Mandau in the 2023/2024 academic year consisting of 33 students. In this study, the data collection method used was the Pretest and Posttest questions which were validated by expert weighers, namely subject expert lectures and subject teachers. Before the treatment is given first given a pretest question (initial test) and after the treatment is given at the end of the learning be given a posttest question (final test). The results of the pretest (initial Test) show the value before the learning is given treatment and the result of the posttest (final test) show the value after the learning is given treatment. The result of this study indicates that the application of Articulate Storyline interactive learning media in the XI TITL class electrical power installation subject at SMK 1 Mandau has an impact on improving student learning outcomes. These results can be seen based on the realm of knowledge, namely, the result of the pretest and posttest analyzed using the Effect Size formula which falls into a very large category and using the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes increased from a very low category to very high. Thus the learning model using Articulate Storyline interactive media improves student learning outcomes in electrical power installation subjects.

This study evaluates the effectiveness of using E-Modules with the FlipBuilder application in learning electric motor installations at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding, supported by the results of the Independent Samples Test, and confirmed that students' practical abilities were also higher than theoretical understanding measured through experimental post-tests. The main conclusion is that using E-Modules with FlipBuilder effectively improves students' understanding and practical skills, potentially to be applied in the curriculum of technical schools. However, it should be noted that this study had some limitations, such as limited coverage to one school and one subject. Advanced studies involving more schools and subjects can provide greater insight into the effectiveness of these methods. In addition, motivational factors and students' previous experience in the same subject can also be important considerations in future research. This research provides a solid foundation for curriculum development and more effective learning approaches to improve students' understanding and skills in electric motor installation and other engineering fields. The positive impact of this research is felt in the world of education and preparing students for success in an increasingly complex industrial world.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using Kahoot to improve the learning outcomes of class X TL students at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra. Student learning outcomes are still low which is caused by the media used in learning being less attractive, thus affecting students' activeness in capturing learning material. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out research using Kahoot to see its effectiveness on student learning outcomes. This research uses a type of experimental research which is categorized into a type of quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of this research were class X TL students at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra in the 2023/2024 academic year, consisting of 30 students. To measure this effectiveness, a pretest was given before using Kahoot in learning. The posttest is given after the learning process of Basics of Electrical Engineering using Kahoot. The posttest results that have been given are then analyzed using a series of tests such as the prerequisite test, N-Gain Score and Effect Size. After the test results were carried out, there was an increase in the scores of students who used Kahoot compared to classes who did not use it. Student learning outcomes after using Kahoot increase. So Kahoot is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

This study was conducted to know the impact of implementing the problem-solving model using interactive learning media on the learning outcomes of refrigeration systems and installations of students in class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat. This research uses quantitative methods in the form of a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants of this study were XI grade TPTUP students at SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat. This study used instruments in the form of multiple-choice written test questions arranged based on the material and learning objectives to be achieved based on the curriculum. In this study, an instrument test was conducted to determine the validity, reliability, level of difficulty of the questions, and the differentiation of the questions. The data analysis technique used is classical completeness of student learning outcomes and effect size analysis. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been carried out, it shows that the average value of students’ posttest learning outcomes has increased which can be seen in many students who get scores that reach the criteria for achievement of learning objectives (KKTP) with an achievement presentation of 80.97% which was previously 73.24% and effect size analysis is in the large category. Therefore, the researcher concluded that the implementation of the problem-solving model using interactive learning media in the subject of refrigeration systems and installations at SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat has an impact on improving student learning outcomes.

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effectiveness of e-modules in the Basics of Electrical Engineering class X subject at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra. The method used is quantitative analysis. This research uses an experimental method in the form of a true experimental design. This research uses pretest and posttest question research instruments in objective form to see student learning outcomes and is tested using validity tests, reliability tests, differential power tests and question difficulty indexes to determine the feasibility of the instruments used. Based on the research results, it shows that the results of statistical analysis of the completeness of student learning outcomes and the average posttest score are 80.67 which is higher than the pretest average score of 72.4. Then, the results of the effect size analysis with a calculation result of 0.85. E-module media was effective in improving the learning outcomes of class X Electrical Power Installation Engineering (TITL) students in basic subjects. -basic electrical engineering at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra.

This research aims to analyze the job readiness of Electrical Power Installation Engineering department graduates at SMK Negeri 3 Sibolga. Work readiness is the overall condition of an individual which includes physical, and mental life, and experiences that encourage a person to be willing to work together with other people, be critical, accept responsibility, and have the ambition to progress and be able to adapt to the work environment. The research method used in this research is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The variable studied was the work readiness of graduates majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Sibolga. The research instrument used in this research was a questionnaire which was distributed to respondents online using a Google form which had 1 variable and 7 indicators. This research questionnaire was conducted on graduates of the 2022/2023 academic year in Electrical Power Installation Engineering, totaling 31 respondents, and obtained results of 48% who have good work readiness. The results of this research can conclude that the work readiness of graduates for the 2022/2023 academic year, majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Sibolga is categorized as good.

— In residential installation learning the learning process is still centered on the lecturer (lecturer-centered learning) so that it results in the atmosphere in the room feeling boring and the material cannot be played repeatedly This is a fundamental problem of learning strategies, so students get less understanding of the material being taught. It also has an impact on the completion of the Electrical Practicum subject value. So the aim in this study is to develop a video tutorial learning media that is valid and practical to be used by students and lecturers in the learning process of residential installation. The model used in this research refers to the Luther-Sutopo version of the MDLC (multimedia development life cycle) method. The MDLC development model consists of 6 stages, namely, concept, design, material collection, manufacture, trial stage, distribution. The results of this study categorised video tutorial media as very valid, obtained from the results of validation by 86% media expert lecturers, and 94% material experts. Video tutorial media is categorised as very practical, obtained from the results of practicality by course lecturers of 95% and by students of 84%. So it can be concluded that the video tutorial-based learning media is very valid and practical to use in the housing installation learning process.

The Job sheet in this study is a practical guide that contains the tools used, the materials used, the sequence of work instructions, the results of examinations, and conclusions regarding the practices that have been carried out in the laboratory. This research was motivated by the lack of creative and innovative media as student practicum media as well as the simple appearance of job sheets and the material presented was not attractive. This study aims to develop a valid job sheet for generator synchronization in the subject of electrical machines. This study uses the type of development R&D (research and development) with a 4-D model which consists of four stages without the deployment stage, namely defining, designing, and developing. The data collection instrument uses an evaluation sheet in the form of a questionnaire for validity. Job sheet validity test from material expert 1 is very good and material expert 2 is very good with very appropriate information. The validation results from Media Expert 1 were good and Media Expert 2 was very good with very appropriate information. It can be concluded that this generator synchronization job sheet is very feasible to use in practice because it has been declared very valid.
