Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in driving the local economy, including in the city of Bekasi. However, the main challenge faced by MSME players is their low capacity to manage and record finances effectively. Most business owners still use manual recording methods, which risk errors, data loss, and difficulties in analyzing financial conditions. In addition, the lack of separation between business and family finances causes uncertainty in profit and loss calculations and capital planning. The lack of knowledge about the use of digital financial applications is also a significant obstacle. This community service activity aims to empower MSMEs in Bekasi City to move up the ladder through digital innovation in financial recording. The partners in this activity are MSMEs in the Bekasi City area that have not yet implemented a digital recording system. The implementation method includes stages of needs analysis, financial literacy training, assistance in using digital recording applications, and evaluation of the level of understanding through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the activity show an average increase in understanding and application of digital financial management of 80%. Business owners have become more disciplined in recording transactions, able to separate business and personal finances, and understand profit and loss calculations more accurately. In addition to its economic impact, this activity has also fostered social change in the form of the Bekasi Digital MSME community, which serves as a platform for continuous learning. Digital innovation has proven effective in increasing the professionalism and competitiveness of MSME players towards a technology-based economic transformation.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional phase from childhood to adulthood, marked by physical, psychological, and psychosocial changes. One of the most common health issues faced by adolescents, especially adolescent girls, is anemia. The low level of knowledge among adolescent girls about anemia and the underutilization of available land are the primary problems addressed in this community service activity. The aim of this program is to increase adolescent girls' knowledge about nutrition and anemia, as well as to utilize unused land to establish a dragon fruit garden. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of young women regarding anemia, utilize the existing land to create a dragon fruit garden where dragon fruit can be used to prevent anemia and install posters and distribute leaflets about nutrition and anemia. The methods used include socialization, education, training, and practical implementation of a dragon fruit garden using a drip irrigation system. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in the participants' knowledge. Initially, 53 participants were categorized as having poor knowledge, but after the educational intervention, this number dropped to zero. Additionally, the number of participants with good knowledge increased from 2 to 48. Therefore, this activity has had a positive impact in raising awareness and enhancing adolescent girls' understanding of the importance of nutrition and anemia prevention.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) still face various challenges in adopting digital technology, especially in marketing and business management aspects. The Sauyunan Sheep Farming Business Group (Kelompok Usaha Peternakan Domba Sauyunan) is an MSME engaged in sheep farming, located at Kp. Seketando RT 001 RW 013, Cangkorah Village, Batujajar District, West Bandung Regency (KBB). The main problem faced by the Sauyunan Sheep Farming Group is that business management remains traditional. These limitations include the absence of long-term business planning (blue print), incomplete and immature organizational management, non-standardized financial recording, and marketing reach limited to conventional local markets. This Community Service (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat or PKM) activity aims to transform partner business management through digitalization and the strengthening of sustainable business management. The implementation method uses a participatory approach comprising socialization, training, technology implementation, evaluation, and intensive mentoring. The PKM activity was carried out in three sessions involving 25 participants consisting of a team of lecturers, Esa Unggul University students, and livestock group members. The results of this activity regarding the business management aspect are the compilation of a business blue print document covering vision, mission, and strategic targets from the short to long term; the formation of a functional organizational structure for HR optimization; the establishment of customer management standards; and the partners' capability in financial recording and calculation. Meanwhile, the results regarding the business digitalization aspect include the availability of an official e-commerce website integrated with the Sauyunan Sheep Group’s social media, and the partners' capability to utilize it effectively for marketing and sales digitalization. This has had a positive impact by expanding customer reach, increasing sales turnover, and improving the welfare of group members sustainably

Abstract

Character education in elementary schools faces problems of low student engagement (65%) and limited interactive learning media that is enjoyable, making the internalization of the eight dimensions of Profil Pelajar Pancasila less optimal. This community service applies curriculum innovation with interactive edutainment learning approach based on student character card media using Participatory Action Research (PAR) method involving schools, teachers, and students actively. Stages include needs analysis, media design, teacher training, implementation with assistance, field observation monitoring, and evaluation using observation sheets, student engagement questionnaires, and field notes on 30 fourth-grade students at partner elementary school. Results show edutainment interactive curriculum innovation increased student engagement by 35% (to 88%) and average character score rose 36.7% (from 2.59 to 3.54). Significant increases occurred in creativity (61%), communicative (46%), mutual cooperation (41%), and collaborative (39%). This innovation effectively creates enjoyable and meaningful learning, enhances learning motivation, and strengthens student character holistically, with replication potential in other elementary schools
