<![CDATA[The "Institutional Strengthening of the Social Service Information Unit (UILS)" activity was held on 4-6 July 2024 in Jambenenggang Village, Sukabumi Regency, thanks to the collaboration of the Faculty of Psychology, Bhayangkara University and Poltekesos Bandung. The purpose of this activity is to increase capacity and strengthen the role of UILS in providing responsive mental health services, especially for families with members of People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ). This activity was attended by 25 participants who were UILS administrators and volunteers, and included training on basic mental health knowledge, crisis management techniques, and early psychological support. This training aims to enable participants to identify early signs of mentaldisorders and carry out early interventions, preventing more serious conditions. In addition to increasing individual capacity, institutional strengthening is carried out by discussing organizational governance, social service access strategies, and efficient referral mechanisms to advanced mental health services. Practical sessions were also held, with simulations of providing psychological first aid in emergency situations to ensure that participants not only understand the theory but also have practical skills. Group discussions were also held to explore the problems faced by ODGJ families and find joint solutions, facilitating the sharing of experiences in providing mental health services. The results of this activity are expected to strengthen the role of UILS as the main source of support in the community, as well as improve the quality of mental health services in Jambenenggang Village, making it a model for other areas.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity examines parental involvement in early detection of child development through Posyandu services in Margamukti Village, Pangalengan District. Using a qualitative approach involving participatory observation and in-depth interviews, data was collected from two informants who regularly visit Posyandu. The results showed that Posyandu plays an important role in supporting early detection of child development, especially in monitoring weight, height and nutritional status. However, there are gaps in parents' understanding of certain developmental indicators, such as speech milestones and emotional regulation. Informants emphasized the importance of Posyandu services but also highlighted the need for more in-depth education on child development. Challenges include low health literacy among some parents and limited understanding of early detection practices. Recommendations include personalized counseling through a door-to-door approach and increased education programs led by Posyandu cadres to bridge this gap. This activity underscores the importance of parental engagement and targeted education efforts to ensure optimal child development outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D Printer tool training to support Teaching Factory (TEFA) in SMK aims to improve technical skills and students' readiness to face the challenges of industry 4.0. 3D printing technology has become an important innovation in the manufacturing world, which allows the creation of three-dimensional objects quickly and precisely. Therefore, mastery of this technology is very important for SMK, especially those involved in the TEFA program. This community service activity was carried out to provide practical training to teachers on how to operate an FDM 3D Printer, as well as understand the design and production process using three-dimensional printing technology. The training includes basic theory on how the FDM 3D Printer machine works, CAD programming, and steps in making prototypes and products using 3D printing. Through this training, it is hoped that Dian Kirana Sragen Vocational School can further strengthen the TEFA concept by providing facilities and tools that comply with industry standards. It is hoped that SMK Dian Kirana Sragen teachers can be better prepared to face the increasingly developing industrial world. The training was held through a combination of theory and direct practice methods, with the aim of providing a comprehensive understanding to participants. The results of this activity provide a real contribution to improving the quality of vocational education and strengthening the relationship between the world of education and the world of industry through TEFA products.]]>

<![CDATA[The increasing incidence of malocclusion in children, often caused by unnoticed bad habits like thumb sucking and mouth breathing, highlights the need for prevention. This community service activity aimed to provide Dental Health Education (DHE) at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School in Sidoarjo to 41 children aged 6–8 years (21 boys, 20 girls), along with their parents and teachers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining dental health and preventing malocclusion caused by harmful habits.The methods used in this community service activity include enhancing Dental Health Education (DHE) through counseling to eliminate bad oral habits and prevent malocclusion. Efforts involve empowering junior dental health cadres to conduct oral health checks at schools, increasing students' knowledge about the impact of bad oral habits, educating on prevention and cessation of these habits, and implementing strategies to prevent malocclusion. Evaluation was conducted through dental molds, facial profile photographs, and intraoral photographs. The expected outcomes of this activity include increased public awareness of bad habits and their impact on dental health, as well as the establishment of dental health cadres at schools to perform regular dental health checks. Additionally, this activity will result in the publication of scientific articles and educational videos to be disseminated via electronic media. This community service successfully enhanced public knowledge about the importance of avoiding bad habits to prevent malocclusion, while also providing a sustainable platform for dental health education through collaboration among the community, schools, and faculties in the future. ]]>

<![CDATA[This report presents the results of community service activities carried out by the Muhammadiyah Grobogan Institute of Technology and Business, focusing on the application of e-voting applications in the election of student council chairman at SMA Negeri 1 Geyer, Grobogan Regency. This community service explains the importance of technology in improving efficiency and transparency in the election process, as well as the challenges faced by conventional election systems. The method used includes several stages, namely preparation, socialization, training, implementation, and evaluation. Preparation includes designing the e-voting program and procuring the necessary tools. Socialization was conducted through simulations to students and teachers to introduce the e-voting application. Training was given to the election committee so that they could use the system properly. Results showed that the implementation of e-voting accelerated the vote counting process and increased student participation and trust in the election system, making this activity an innovative step in school democracy.]]>

<![CDATA[Program Pendampingan Masyarakat Pemula (PMP) aimed at developing water hyacinth crafts in Alata Village, Gorontalo. This home craft industry has great potential to improve the local economy and environmental sustainability. The assistance explained the importance of lake water hyacinth weed as a raw material for environmentally friendly crafts, as well as the challenges faced by craftsmen in production, management and marketing. The resulting crafts, such as bags and furniture, have export prospects, but require further support in terms of skills, resources and promotion.The proposed solutions include partnerships with raw material suppliers, technical training, increasing production efficiency, as well as marketing and financial management training. This program also emphasizes digital marketing, with the aim of expanding the market reach of artisans and building export channels. The methodology used includes training sessions, provision of equipment and consistent monitoring to ensure project sustainability. This initiative is in line with Indonesia's Green Economy goals, encouraging environmentally friendly business practices while empowering local craftsmen. Through this program, students will also gain direct experience in business management including creating digital products from the environment, integrating their learning with community service.]]>

<![CDATA[Good education is greatly influenced by the learning media used. The right media can make the teaching and learning process more effective and enjoyable, making it easier for students to understand the material. Apart from that, interesting media can also increase students' learning motivation. In Community Service (PKM) with the theme Training on Using Canva as a Learning Media at SMA 19 Gowa, this activity aims to provide learning to teachers so that they can use Canva as a teaching aid. The implementation method includes a direct approach, practice, preparing interesting material, providing facilities, guidance, and evaluation to measure the results of the questionnaires that we distribute. The results of the questionnaire showed that 15 female participants and 8 male participants felt very satisfied. The assessment of the PKM facilitator was also positive, with 13 female teachers and 6 male teachers assessing the facilitator as very good. In assessing the relevance of the training, 7 participants said it was very relevant, 1 participant was relevant, and 8 participants were quite relevant. The participants wanted ongoing material regarding the use of Canva in creating learning slides. Through this PKM, we have succeeded in providing a positive impact and new skills in using innovative learning media, so that teachers are expected to be more effective in teaching and improve the quality of education at SMA 19 Gowa.]]>

<![CDATA[Innovation in learning media continues to evolve with the rapid advancement of technology. One platform that is widely used in education today is Quizziz, which offers AI-based features to enhance the quality and effectiveness of learning and evaluation. This activity involves teachers at SMK Sultan Hasanuddin Gowa in utilizing Quizziz technology, equipped with artificial intelligence features, to create interactive learning media and effective evaluations. Through this community service program, teachers are expected to improve their skills in designing engaging teaching materials, speeding up the evaluation process, and providing more personalized feedback to students. The outcomes of this initiative show an increase in teachers' understanding and motivation in using the latest educational technology, which is expected to enhance the overall quality of the teaching and learning process at SMK Sultan Hasanuddin Gowa.]]>

<![CDATA[The advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the management of religious institutions such as mosques. Digital technology encompasses various computer-based and internet-based devices and systems that enable efficiency and effectiveness in communication, administration, and community services. In the context of mosque management, the implementation of digital technology can provide substantial benefits in supporting information dissemination and optimizing religious activities. In recent years, many mosques in Indonesia have begun adopting digital technology to enhance services for congregants. This demonstrates that digital technology can be an effective tool for managing mosques in a more modern and professional manner. Some technological implementations that have proven beneficial for mosques include social media as a platform for disseminating information related to mosque activities and important announcements, as well as live streaming of religious events to reach congregants who are unable to attend physically in study sessions or sermons. The implementation of this initiative aims to provide mosque administrators with greater digital literacy. The stages of execution include counseling, training, and mentoring. The results of the initiative indicate strong enthusiasm from participants regarding the presented materials, and evaluations show that 100% of the conveyed content was deemed beneficial for mosque administrators.]]>

<![CDATA[Stunting remains a significant and critical problem in various geographical areas, so it needs to be continuously discussed, especially in Magelang Regency. The need to reduce stunting has reached a higher urgency, especially in relation to the goals set by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which is to reduce the incidence of stunting by 40% by 2025. Therefore, the aim of this initiative is to instruct the community in adopting health-promoting behaviors and implementing clean and hygienic living practices in their daily lives to reduce the prevalence of stunting. In this regard, Participatory Rural Assessment is the most effective methodology to explore solutions to the stunting dilemma. In the course of this initiative, there was a marked increase in the existing Posyandu cadres, which encouraged sustainable development. Furthermore, the effort catalyzed the establishment of the Youth Posyandu institution, which functions as a promotive and preventive action against stunting. With the establishment of the Youth Posyandu, various activities related to the posyandu are ready to grow sustainably, because the next generation has been adequately prepared.]]>
