The purpose of this journal is to disseminate ideas and results of research conducted by universities, particularly Psychology Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Mulawarman University, which can be applied in society. Abstract

The ewuh pakewuh culture in Javanese society reflects a feeling of hesitation or reluctance to express opinions in order to maintain social harmony. This study aims to develop a measurement instrument or ewuh pakewuh scale based on Javanese cultural values that meets the criteria of validity and reliability. The research process involved both qualitative and quantitative stages. The qualitative stage aimed to collect data on the concept of ewuh pakewuh through open-ended questionnaires. A total of 41 respondents were involved to explore the cultural meaning of the concept, which resulted in six conceptual aspects: social interaction, social norms, hierarchy, communication, social conformity, and self-expression. Based on these aspects, 35 items were constructed and tested in the quantitative phase. The quantitative stage involved 763 respondents and was analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The results identified three main dimensions: self-expression, indirect social communication, and conformity to hierarchy. The scale showed high reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.89; KMO = 0.951). These findings indicate that the developed scale is construct-valid and reliable for measuring ewuh pakewuh tendencies within the Javanese cultural context.Budaya ewuh pakewuh dalam masyarakat Jawa mencerminkan perasaan sungkan atau segan dalam menyampaikan pendapat demi menjaga harmoni sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan alat ukur atau skala ewuh pakewuh berbasis nilai budaya Jawa yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan reliabel. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan mencakup penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian kualitatif bertujuan mengumpulkan data tentang konsep ewuh pakewuh yang dilakukan melalui angket terbuka. Responden angket terbuka sebanyak 41 responden untuk digali tentang makna budaya dan menghasilkan enam aspek: interaksi sosial, norma sosial, hierarki, komunikasi, konformitas sosial, dan ekspresi diri. Berdasarkan enam aspek ini dibuat 35 aitem untuk diuji cobakan dalam penelitian kuantitatif. Selanjutnya, Tahap kuantitatif melibatkan 763 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Hasil menunjukkan tiga dimensi utama, yaitu ekspresi diri, komunikasi sosial tidak langsung, dan konformitas terhadap hierarki. Skala menunjukkan reliabilitas tinggi (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0,89; KMO = 0,951). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa skala yang dikembangkan valid secara konstruk dan reliabel untuk mengukur kecenderungan ewuh pakewuh dalam konteks budaya Jawa.

Abstract

Domestic violence remains a pervasive issue with profound psychological consequences for survivors, often leading to trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and a drastic reduction in self-esteem. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is widely recognized as an effective therapeutic intervention for addressing these psychological impacts. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of CBT in improving the psychological well-being of survivors of domestic violence, particularly focusing on its role in enhancing self-esteem, self-love, and mindfulness, as well as its ability to reduce negative symptoms such as trauma, PTSD, and depression. Using a systematic literature review methodology, the study analyzed twelve relevant studies published between 2019 and 2025. The findings reveal that CBT significantly improves positive psychological outcomes, including self-esteem and self-love, while also effectively alleviating symptoms of trauma, PTSD, and depression. Additionally, CBT fosters emotional regulation and enhances mindfulness, contributing to the survivor's overall well-being and resilience. The implications of this research suggest that CBT should be widely integrated into interventions for survivors of domestic violence, offering a structured and culturally sensitive approach to healing. Future research is recommended to explore the long-term effects of CBT and its application in diverse cultural contexts to strengthen its efficacy and impact.Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga tetap menjadi isu yang meluas dengan dampak psikologis yang mendalam bagi penyintasnya, sering kali menyebabkan trauma, kecemasan, depresi, PTSD, dan penurunan drastis dalam harga diri. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) diakui secara luas sebagai intervensi terapeutik yang efektif untuk mengatasi dampak psikologis ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas CBT dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis penyintas kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, dengan fokus pada perannya dalam meningkatkan harga diri, cinta diri, dan kesadaran penuh, serta kemampuannya untuk mengurangi gejala negatif seperti trauma, PTSD, dan depresi. Menggunakan metodologi tinjauan pustaka sistematis, penelitian ini menganalisis dua belas studi relevan yang diterbitkan antara 2019 dan 2025. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBT secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil psikologis positif, termasuk harga diri dan cinta diri, sekaligus efektif meredakan gejala trauma, PTSD, dan depresi. Selain itu, CBT mendukung regulasi emosional dan meningkatkan kesadaran penuh, yang berkontribusi pada kesejahteraan dan ketahanan penyintas secara keseluruhan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa CBT sebaiknya diintegrasikan secara luas dalam intervensi bagi penyintas kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, menawarkan pendekatan yang terstruktur dan sensitif secara budaya untuk pemulihan. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi efek jangka panjang dari CBT dan penerapannya dalam konteks budaya yang beragam untuk memperkuat efektivitas dan dampaknya.

Abstract

Increasingly fierce business competition demands that companies effectively manage human resources, including maintaining employee job satisfaction. Job dissatisfaction still frequently occurs in the industrial sector and impacts increased turnover, absenteeism, decreased productivity, and disruptions to operational stability. In this context, transformational leadership and self-efficacy are two psychological factors that have the potential to increase job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the influence of transformational leadership style and self-efficacy on employee job satisfaction. The research used a quantitative method with a causal design, involving 124 employees from the production division thru a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected using job satisfaction scales, transformational leadership scales, and self-efficacy scales, and then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results show that the level of job satisfaction among respondents is mostly in the moderate category. Statistically, transformational leadership and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (R² = 0.424), with the significance values for each variable being < 0.05. This finding confirms that the higher the implementation of transformational leadership and the stronger the employees' self-confidence, the higher the level of job satisfaction. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of the leader's role in creating supportive working relationships, providing motivation, and building a conducive work environment. Additionally, companies are encouraged to strengthen competency development programs to enhance employee self-efficacy in order to support the sustainability of organizational performance.Penelitian ini didasari oleh adanya permasalahan ketidakpuasan kerja yang terjadi pada perusahaan manufaktur. Ketidakpuasan kerja masih sering terjadi di sektor industri dan berdampak pada meningkatnya turnover, absensi, penurunan produktivitas, serta gangguan stabilitas operasional. Dalam konteks ini, kepemimpinan transformasional dan self-efficacy menjadi dua faktor psikologis yang berpotensi meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan self-efficacy terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kausalitas, melibatkan 124 karyawan divisi produksi melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala kepuasan kerja, skala kepemimpinan transformasional, dan skala self-efficacy, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan kerja responden sebagian besar berada pada kategori sedang. Secara statistik, kepemimpinan transformasional dan self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (R² = 0,424), dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing variabel < 0,05. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa semakin tinggi penerapan kepemimpinan transformasional dan semakin kuat keyakinan diri karyawan, maka tingkat kepuasan kerja akan meningkat. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peran pimpinan dalam menciptakan hubungan kerja yang suportif, memberi motivasi, serta membangun lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Selain itu, perusahaan dianjurkan memperkuat program pengembangan kompetensi untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy karyawan guna mendukung keberlangsungan kinerja organisasi

Abstract

The presence of e-commerce applications has significantly changed shopping patterns. Consumer satisfaction strengthens the relationship between perceived value and repurchase intention in e-commerce application users. This study aims to explore the influence of perceived value on repurchase intention in e-commerce applications, as well as to identify the role of consumer satisfaction as a mediating variable in this relationship. This study applied a quantitative method using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with the help of the AMOS application version 24. The sample size was 250 e-commerce application consumers selected through the Accidental Sampling technique. The instruments used consisted of a scale of repurchase intention, a scale of perceived value, and an adapted consumer satisfaction scale. The results showed that perceived value significantly influenced repurchase intention (C.R = 6.408 < 1.96 with p = 0.000 > 0.05), perceived value significantly influenced consumer satisfaction (C.R = 4.017 > 1.96 with p = 0.000 < 0.05), and consumer satisfaction significantly influenced repurchase intention (C.R = 3.933 > 1.96 and p = 0.000 < 0.05). In addition, consumer satisfaction was proven to significantly mediate the influence of perceived value on repurchase intention (Sobel statistic = 2.1813 > 1.96 and p = 0.04).Kehadiran aplikasi e-commerce telah mengubah pola belanja tersebut secara signifikan. Kepuasan konsumen memperkuat hubungan antara perceived value dan minat membeli ulang pada pengguna aplikasi e-commerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh perceived value terhadap minat membeli ulang pada aplikasi e-commerce, serta mengidentifikasi peran kepuasan konsumen sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini diterapkan dengan metode kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan aplikasi AMOS versi 24. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 250 konsumen aplikasi e-commerce yang dipilih melalui teknik accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari skala minat membeli ulang, skala perceived value, dan skala kepuasan konsumen yang telah diadaptasi, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived value berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat membeli ulang (C.R = 6,408 < 1,96 dengan p = 0,000 > 0,05), perceived value berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen (C.R = 4,017 > 1,96 dengan p = 0,000 < 0,05), dan kepuasan konsumen berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap minat membeli ulang (C.R = 3,933 > 1,96 dan p = 0,000 < 0,05). Selain itu, kepuasan konsumen terbukti memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh perceived value terhadap minat membeli ulang (statistic sobel = 2,1813 > 1,96 dan p = 0,04).

Abstract

Physical changes that involve weight gain and changes in body shape can affect a mother's body image. That body image is influenced by various factors and have impact on various aspects of life. This research aims to conduct a literature study related to the body image of postpartum mothers, which includes a description, influencing factors and the impact caused. This study used the article selection method based on PRISMA 2020, from these following databases: Garudakemendikbud, ProQuest, SageJournal, ScienceDirect, Scopus, SpringerLink, and Taylor&Francis. The search involved several keywords: maternal body image, new motherhood, maternal body image, post-partum body image, and postpartum body image. Twenty relevant and usable articles were found. It is known that the body image of postpartum mothers can be positive or negative, there are several factors, both internal and external, that influence this. A postpartum mother's body image can affect herself, her partner and her family.Perubahan fisik yang melibatkan kenaikan berat badan dan perubahan bentuk tubuh dapat mempengaruhi body image atau penilaian serta persepsi ibu terhadap bentuk tubuh yang dimilikinya. Penilaian dan persepsi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor dan dapat berdampak pada berbagai aspek kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi literatur terkait body image ibu pasca melahirkan, yang mencakup gambaran, faktor yang mempengaruhi dan dampak yang disebabkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pemilihan artikel berdasarkan PRISMA 2020, dilakukan penelusuran pada database berikut: Garudakemendikbud, ProQuest, SageJournal, ScienceDirect, Scopus, SpringerLink, dan Taylor&Francis. Penelusuran melibatkan beberapa kata kunci, yaitu citra tubuh ibu, new motherhood, maternal body image, post-partum body image, dan postpartum body image. Ditemukan 20 artikel yang relevan dan dapat digunakan. Diketahui bahwa body image ibu pasca melahirkan dapat bersifat positif ataupun negatif, terdapat beberapa faktor, baik internal ataupun eksternal, yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut. Abstract

Employee performance measurement is crucial because as a result as a means of evaluation, development and decision making in the organization. For this reason, the validity and reliability of employee performance instruments are determining factors to ensure that the data obtained is accurate or not. This research aims to develop and validate private employee performance instruments in the Southwest Papua region. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The sampling technique used in this study was random sampling technique. The population in the study were private employees as many as 75 respondents who would be used in representing the population of respondents in Southwest Papua. In this study, the software used to analyze the data is Ministep Rasch to see the relationship between items and respondents. Based on the analysis, item 5 is difficult for respondents to agree and item 9 is easy for respondents to agree. This shows that the tool developed has good validity. In addition, there are results of the validity test of items 11, 10, 5, 12, 9 and item 4 that do not match (FIT model). Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.92 can be said to have a very good value related to items and people. This research was conducted by analyzing the results of difficulty (Item Difficulty), analyzing the level of fit on items or FIT (Item fit), and the level of reliability (item reliability).Pengukuran kinerja karyawan menjadi krusial karena sebagai hasil karena sebagai sarana evaluasi, pengembangan dan pengambilan keputusan dalam organisasi. Untuk itu, validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen kinerja karyawan menjadi faktor penentu untuk memastikan data yang diperoleh akurat atau tidaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta memvalidasi instrumen kinerja karyawan swasta di wilayah Papua Barat Daya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik random sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah karyawan swasta sebanyak 75 responden yang akan digunakan dalam mewakili populasi responden di Papua Barat Daya. Pada penelitian ini perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu Ministep Rasch untuk melihat hubungan pada item dan responden. Berdasarkan pada analisis terdapat item 5 sulit disetujui oleh responden dan item 9 mudah disetujui oleh responden. Hal ini menunjukkan alat yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas yang baik. Selain itu ada hasil uji validitas item 11,10, 5, 12, 9 dan item 4 tidak cocok dengan (model FIT). Nilai Alpha Cronbach 0,92 dapat dikatakan memiliki nilai bagus sekali terkait item dan person Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis hasil kesukaran (Item Difficulty), analisis tingkat kesesuaian pada item atau FIT (Item fit), dan tingkat reliabilitas (item reliability). Dari hasil analisis yang sudah dilakukan pada instrumen kinerja karyawan termasuk dalam data valid dan reliabel dan dapat digunakan sebagai keperluan yang dibutuhkan seperti need asessment.

Abstract

The increase in employee work stress due to changes in the modern workplace has affected employee well-being and quality of work life. This study aims to analyze the relationship between stress coping and employees’ quality of work life and to identify the existence of a significant positive relationship between the two variables. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 200 employees from a Suzuya branch in Medan, with a Likert scale used to measure coping stress and quality of work life. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between coping stress and quality of work life, where workplace stress and social support significantly impact employee well-being, while time management does not show a significant influence. These findings suggest that organizations need to prioritize stress management initiatives and strengthen social support systems to improve employee quality of work life, which in turn can contribute to job satisfaction and productivity. By creating a supportive work environment, organizations can foster greater engagement and performance, leading to overall organizational success.

Abstract

The low interest in entrepreneurship among university students is a serious problem, despite the widespread implementation of entrepreneurship education in universities. Internal factors such as risk-taking propensity and self-efficacy, as well as external factors such as family support, have not yet played an optimal role in increasing entrepreneurial intentions. This study aims to analyze the influence of risk-taking propensity, family support, self-efficacy, and entrepreneurship education on students' entrepreneurial intention. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach through the distribution of questionnaires to final-year students and analyzed using SmartPLS. The results showed that self-efficacy had a significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, while risk-taking tendencies, family support, and entrepreneurship education did not. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening internal factors and entrepreneurship curriculum to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of the young generation in Indonesia.Rendahnya minat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa menjadi permasalahan serius meskipun Pendidikan kewirausahaan telah banyak diimplementasikan di perguruan tinggi dan telah dilakukan secara masif. Faktor internal seperti keberanian mengambil resiko dan efikasi diri, serta faktor eksternal seperti dukungan keluarga belum sepenuhnya berperan optimal dalam meningkatkan intensi berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh risk-taking propensity, family support, self-efficacy, dan entrepreneurship education terhadap entrepreneurial intention mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional melalui penyebaran kuesioner terhadap mahasiswa tingkat akhir dan di analisis menggunakan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa self-efficacy berpengaruh signifikan terhadap entrepreneurial intention, sedangkan risk-taking propensity, family support, dan entrepreneurship education tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan faktor internal dan kurikulum kewirausahaan untuk menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha generasi muda di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research focuses on the importance of resilience in the context of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), which is increasingly relevant in today’s high-pressure work environments. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between individual resilience and organizational citizenship behavior, as well as to explore the factors influencing these variables. This study employs a quantitative research method using a survey design, involving 115 respondents Belawan Type A Class I Navigation District. Data were collected using Likert scales to measure resilience and OCB, which were previously validated. The results reveal a significant positive relationship between resilience and organizational citizenship behavior. The findings suggest that individuals with higher resilience are more likely to engage in proactive behaviors, such as helping coworkers, showing initiative, and actively participating in organizational life. The implications of this research indicate that organizations should develop resilience training programs to enhance employee engagement, improve organizational culture, and boost overall performance.

Abstract

Uncontrolled consumptive behavior can lead to wasteful lifestyles and poor financial decision-making abilities. The purpose of this study is to design a game media based on the teachings of neng ning nung nang, test the effectiveness of the game book to increase inhibitory control as an effort to reduce consumptive behavior, and analyze the differences in inhibitory control levels before and after using the developed game book. This study uses a quantitative method with the RnD approach. The RnD approach refers to the concept of Richey and Klein which consists of 3 stages, namely the development stage, internal validity testing, and external validity testing. Testing the effectiveness of the game media uses a quasi-experimental method. This study uses a game-based intervention conducted at SMK Negeri South Sumatra with 25 subjects selected using a purposive sampling technique. Research data collection uses observations and tests designed to determine differences in inhibitory control and in research subjects. The collected data will be analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results of the study indicate that the designed game book is feasible to be implemented, the game book media is proven to be effective in reducing inhibitory control, and there are significant differences before and after the intervention using the game book.Perilaku konsumtif jika tidak dikontrol dapat membawa dampak pada gaya hidup boros dan kemampuan membuat keputusan finansial yang buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang media permainan bebrasis ajaran neng ning nung nang, menguji efektifitas buku permainan untuk meningkatkan inhibitory control sebagai Upaya menurunkan perilaku konsumtif, dan menganalisis perbedaan tingkat inhibitory control sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan buku permainan yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan RnD. Pendekatan RnD mengacu pada konsep Richey dan Klein yang terdiri dari 3 tahap, yaitu tahap pengembangan, uji validitas internal, dan uji validitas eksternal.  Pengujian efektifitas media permainan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan game-based intervention yang dilakukan kepada SMK Negeri Sumatera Selatan dengan subjek sebanyak 25 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan observasi dan tes yang disusun untuk mengetahui perbedaan inhibitory control dan pada subjek penelitian. Data yang dikumpulkan akan dianalisis menggunakan sample paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa  buku permainan yang dirancang layak untuk diimplementasikan, media buku permainan terbukti efektif untuk menurunkan inhibitory control, dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi menggunakan buku permainan.
