Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh lemahnya  penggunaan media pembelajaran di sekolah. Guru sebenarnya sudah pernah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer yaitu Microsoft power point tetapi belum mendapatkan hasil optimal untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika pada materi aritmatika sosial menggunakan video berbasis Powtoon untuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Muaro Jambi yang memenuhi aspek kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (RD). Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah ADDIE, yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu: 1)Analisis, 2)Perancangan, 3)Pengembangan, 4)Pelaksanaan, dan 5)Penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas media pembelajaran berdasarkan penilaian: 1)ahli desain diperoleh hasil rata-rata 4  atau kategori “Baik” atau mendapat nilai 80% atau kategori “Layak”. 2)ahli materi diperoleh total rata-rata 4,4  atau kategori “Sangat Baik” atau mendapat nilai 88% atau  kategori “Sangat Layak”. 3)ahli media diperoleh total rata-rata 3,9  atau kategori “Baik” atau mendapat nilai 79% atau kategori “Layak”. Penilaian oleh siswa dilakukan dalam 3 tahap: 1) uji coba perorangan diperoleh rata-rata 4 atau kategori “Baik” atau mendapat nilai 80% atau kategori “Sangat Layak”. 2)uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh total rata-rata 4 atau kategori “Baik” atau mendapat nilai 80% atau kategori “Sangat Layak”. 3)uji coba lapangan diperoleh total rata-rata 4,2 atau kategori “Sangat Baik” atau mendapat nilai 85% atau kategori “Sangat Layak”. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran Powtoon pada materi aritmatika sosial ini dinyatakan valid,  praktis sehingga layak digunakan.Kata Kunci: Video Pembelajaran, powtoon. AbstractThis research is motivated by the weak use of learning media in schools. Actually, teachers have used computer-based learning media, namely Microsoft power point, but have not gotten optimal results to improve student understanding. Meanwhile, the purpose of this research is to develop mathematics learning media on social arithmetic material using Powtoon-based video for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Muaro Jambi which meets the aspects of validity and practicality. This research is a development research (RD). The research model used is ADDIE, which consists of 5 stages, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Assessment. The results showed that the quality of learning media based on the assessment of: 1) design experts obtained an average result of 4 or the "Good" category or  it scored 80% or the "Decent" category. 2) the material expert obtained a total average of 4.4 or the "Very Good" category or it gets a score of 88% or the "Very Eligible" category. 3) media experts obtained a total average of 3.9    or the "Good" category or it gets a score of 79% or the "Decent" category. The assessment by students was carried out in 3 stages: 1) individual trials obtained an average of 4 or the "Good" category ot it gets a score of 80% or the "Very Eligible" category. 2) the small group trial obtained a total average of 4 or the "Good" category if the percentage received a score of 80% or the "Very Eligible" category. 3) the field trial obtained a total average of 4.2 or the "Very Good" category or it gets a score of 85% or the "Very Eligible" category. Thus the Powtoon learning media on this social arithmetic material is declared valid, practical so that it is feasible to use. Keywords : Learning Video, powtoon.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the results from the effectiveness of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFaE) the learning model on students' mathematical communication skills at one of the private schools in Tangerang city in the 2018/2019 academic year with the topic of sequences and series. In this research the method used a Quasi Experimental with research designs The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This study uses classes that are already available. The research sample used is clas XI MIPA 1 as many as 35 students as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 as many as 35 students as the control class. Data is collected from the result of the pretest and posttest mathematical communication skills that student work with the number of valid questions that 15 of 20 questions. Data were analyzed using a two-party test. Based on this research of this study states that the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFaE) learning model effects the mathematical communication ability of students at SMA one of the private schools in Tangerang city which obtained a mean score of 26,97 with a standard deviasi of 5,576 with a significance level of 0,05 and obtained the influence of 0,656 which includes moderate interpretations.Keywords : Student Facilitator and Explaining, Mathematical Communication

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is no increase in problem solving skills through the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model for Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. This experimental research uses One Groups Pretest-Posttest Design, with a population of 324 students of Palembang 7 Junior High School students and a sample of 27 students taken by cluster sampling technique, which is an experimental class that is treated with Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model. The variables measured in this study were improvement in problem solving ability and treatment variables, namely Creative Problem Solving Learning Model (CPS). The subjects in this study were class  and used descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques using the test. The analysis technique used in this study is the N-Gain Test. Based on the results of the analysis of the N-Gain test data the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest) obtained a gain index of 0.62 with moderate interpretation with an average pretest value of 30.9 and an average posttest value of 72.6. These results indicate that there is an increase in problem solving skills through the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Palembang.Keywords: Problem Solving Ability, Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 52 Palembang. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu Postest-Only Control Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.6 sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas VIII.10 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Independent Sampel t test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tes akhir disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Dari nilai angket disposisi matematis siswa, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap disposisi matematis siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan disposisi matematis siswa SMPN 52 Palembang. Kata kunci : model pembelajaran Novick, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi matematis ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of Novick's learning model on the ability to think critically mathematically and the mathematical disposition of students at SMP Negeri 52 Palembang. This research method is an experimental research design that is Postest-Only Control Design. The sample in this study were students of class VII.6 as the control class and students of class VIII.10 as the experimental class. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is the Independent Sample t test. Based on the results of the final test data analysis, it was concluded that there was an influence of Novick's learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. From the students 'mathematical disposition questionnaire value, it was concluded that there was an influence of Novick's learning model on students' mathematical disposition. It can be concluded that there is an influence of Novick's learning model on critical thinking abilities and mathematical disposition of Palembang 52 Junior High School students. Keywords : Novick learning model, mathematical critical thinking ability, mathematical disposition

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kualitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan aspek-aspek matematis pada tradisi pernikahan Yogyakarta untuk pembelajaran matematika kelas VIII SMP. Ada tiga aspek kualitas yang diteliti yaitu kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian pengembangan yang menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar berbasis etnomatematika pada materi statistika berupa LKS. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap, yakni analysis (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi) dan evaluation (evaluasi). Hasil penelitian dilihat dari aspek kevalidan adalah sangat valid dengan skor 4,24. Dilihat dari aspek kepraktisa adalah sangat praktis dengan skor 4,24, dan dari aspek keefektifan adalah sangat efektif dengan skor 3,95.

Abstract

This research was took based on the low ability of understanding about the concept of mathematics by students. The objective at this research was there were any impact teaching model  IMPROVE with  Accelerated Learning Method toward students’ ability in understanding the concept of mathematics at grade VIII MTs Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in academic years 2019/2020. The method at this research was True Eksperimental Design. The population was all students grade VII that consist of 288 students and the sample as exsperimental class VIII.1 and as the class control was VIII.3. In collecting the data the researcher used test. The data that was collected, it was analysed by t-test. The result showed that level of sicnificances  = 0,05, it can be concluded that there were impact teaching model IMPROVE with Accelerated Learning Method toward students’ ability in understanding the concept of mathematics at grade VIII MTs Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau in academic yeas 2019/2020. The avarage of students’ score in understanding the concept of mathematics after giving threatment in the class experiment were 56.40 and control class was 40,90.

Abstract

The Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) learning model is a learning model that has the design of constructing students' abilities by connecting and organizing knowledge, then rethinking the concept being studied. The purpose of this study is to find out whether or not the influence of the learning model Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending the ability of mathematical connections, and to find out the motivation of students learning at SMK YP Gajah Mada Palembang. The population in this study were all students of class XI, amounting to 420. The sample taken in this study was class XI TITL 4, totaling 30 students as an experimental class taught using the CORE learning model and class XI TPM totaling 27 people as a control class taught using conventional learning. The design of the experimental method used is Posttest-Only Control Design. Data collection techniques using test and non-test techniques. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t test, with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study are that there is a significant influence between the learning models of Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) on the ability of mathematical connections and motivation to learn students of SMK YP Gajah Mada Palembang.  Keywords: CORE, Mathematical connection, learning motivation

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference in the ability to understand the mathematical problems of students through the VAK learning model using VCD and print learning media. This type of research is an experiment using pretest-posttest control design. The sample of this study were three classes, 2 experimental classes and 1 control class. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes through the VAK learning model using VCD learning media in the initial test was 46.31 while in the final test it was 83.56; the average value of student learning outcomes through the VAK learning model using print learning media (LKS) in the initial test of 37.31 while in the final test amounted to 72.21; and the average value of student learning outcomes through the conventional VAK learning model in the initial test was 45.34 while the final test was 55.5. The results of the values of these three classes were tested statistically using One way Anava at significant (α = 5%) to determine whether there were differences. Abstract

ABSTRAKThis research is an experimental research, while the problem formulation in this study is the Problem Posing learning model is effective against the results of learning straight line equation material in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaralam. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Posing model for student learning outcomes in the material of Straight Line Equations in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 agaralam, with a sample of students including 21 experimental class students and 21 control class students, to measure student mathematics learning outcomes in research This is a written test in the form of essays which amounts to 5 questions. The hypothesis of this research is that the Problem Posing learning model is effective on the learning outcomes of straight-line equations in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaralam. The results of students' mathematical test data with the Problem Posing learning model obtained an average of 70.5 and the average mathematics learning outcomes of students not with the Problem posing model of 65.08. By using the t-test statistical formula, we obtained a tcount of 3.50 and a table price of 1.725 with a significance level of 5%. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis formulated by researchers proved to be accepted, namely the Effective Problem Posing learning model for solving straight line equation problems in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaralam. Keywords: Problem Posing learning model, Student Learning

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe formulation of this research was the effect of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model learning toward the matematical problem solving abilities students eighth grade of SMP Negeri 53 Palembang. This experiment’s research used Posttest-Only Control Design with sample of 62 students were taken by using cluster sampling technique. A experiment class got treatment by using Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model learning and a control class got a treatment by using conventional model learning with each class numbering 31 students. Technique for collecting the data used test technique. In analyzing the data, the writter usedIndependent Sample t-Test with 5% significant level. The conclusion of this research was there were significant influence between Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model learning toward the matematical problem solving abilities students to the eighth grade students of Junior High School 53 of Palembang.Keywords: AIR learning model, conventional learning model, matematical problem solving abilities
