Abstract

Corporate awareness of sustainability has increased significantly alongside growing stakeholder expectations for environmentally responsible practices. The industrial sector’s GDP growth in 2023 was accompanied by higher CO₂ emissions, emphasizing the need for a managerial approach that integrates economic, social, and environmental dimensions. This study develops a strategy map based on the Sustainability Balanced Scorecard (SBSC) by identifying key sustainability performance indicators. Using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), 18 indicators were obtained and grouped into four perspectives: Learning and Growth (3 indicators), Internal Business Processes (8), Stakeholders (3), and Financial (4). The Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method was then applied to examine causal relationships. Results highlight “green technology innovation,” “energy efficiency and renewable energy practices,” and “green corporate image” as the most influential indicators. The Internal Business Process perspective was identified as the primary driver of sustainability performance. These findings stress the importance of aligning strategies with operational improvements to achieve balanced economic and environmental outcomes.

Abstract

This study explores the evolving landscape of supply chain management (SCM) as a critical factor that transcends competition between individual firms and emphasizes collaboration in supply chains. In healthcare, health insurance provides a safety net against  the uncertainties of life, especially cancer, the world's second leading killer. The study focuses on addressing drug delivery delays in cancer care supply chains using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SWOT analysis. Based on SCM concepts, medical supply chain risk management, and AHP methodology, the study uses a qualitative approach that includes data collection on anticancer drug abuse and  focus group discussion (FGD). The AHP hierarchy, which emphasizes timeliness of delivery, highlights two prominent options: direct distribution to hospitals and a hybrid distribution model. A comprehensive SWOT analysis prioritizes key factors, with an emphasis on timeliness, and identifies direct marketing as the most important opportunity for hospitals, highlighting its strategic importance in optimizing the distribution of cancer drugs. The study highlights the need for timely and efficient healthcare supply chains to combat the global cancer problem.

Abstract

The distribution of industrial and medical gases in Indonesia faces significant supply chain challenges. In general, the distribution is not yet fully adequate to meet the continuously growing demand. Based on this industrial issues, the researcher conducted an observation of PT Samator Gas Industri Balikpapan distribution activities. The company has not maximized the truck load by only loading 60 to 80 cylinders per truck. The issue has resulted in fuel costs not being optimal. Another issue arises because the distribution routes is done subjectively without considering the best route to deliver products. In this research, the issue was addressed by solving the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) using the Clarke-Wright Saving Heuristic Algorithm and the Sweep Algoritm (cluster first, route second), combined with the Nearest Neighbor route sorting method. Based on the research results, the Clarke-Wright Saving Heuristic Algorithm successfully reduced the travel distance to 167.1 km and resulted in fuel cost savings of IDR402,051.67 (49.21%). Meanwhile, the route generated by the Sweep Algorithm also showed better results compared to the initial route. The Sweep Algorithm produced savings of IDR340,465.00 (41.67%). Although the results obtained were not better than those of the Clarke-Wright Saving Heuristic Algorithm, the Sweep Algorithm has the advantage of simplifying the grouping process of delivery points based on their geographical proximity, making the route more efficient even without complex calculation steps.

Abstract

PT. Inti Bangun Mulya was established in 2019 and is a company engaged in consulting and contracting services in the mining sector, including mapping, topography, mineral exploration, mineral modeling, mine design, mine economic evaluation, and resource and reserve calculation. This research aims to determine the critical components and to identify an effective and efficient maintenance schedule for the Jacro 175 Rig components. In determining critical components and creating a maintenance schedule, the researchers used Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) with the application of an appropriate and systematic maintenance system. This research uses a research method employing RCM and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The initial steps taken by the author were to identify functions and failures, analyze system failures occurring in the Yanmar TF 105 machine, analyze critical level criteria, analyze FMEA, determine appropriate task selection, calculate the reliability value of critical components, and provide repair proposals in the form of an efficient maintenance schedule for critical components. The results of this study indicate that PT. Inti Bangun Mulya is known to implement a maintenance management system using a corrective maintenance system that is less effective and efficient for application to all components. Therefore, the author proposes an improvement in the form of a maintenance schedule for critical components.
