Abstract

This study aims to produce a clustering model using the K-Means algorithm built to map the performance of lecturers' publications. The method used was research and development which includes the stages of data collecting, data preprocessing, clustering process and cluster analysis. The input data consists of 87 with 8 attributes, namely number of articles in Sinta indexed journal, number of articles in Scopus indexed journal, number of citation in Scopus, H-index in Scopus, number articles in Google Scholar indexed journal, number of citation in Googe Scholar, H-index in Google Scholar and H-index10 in Google Scholar. The K-Means algorithm was used with 3 clusters and 100 epoches. The results of clustering were distributed in 3 clusters, namely cluster 1 with 17 members, cluster 2 with 32 members and cluster 3 with 38 members. The results of the cluster analysis with the identification of cluster members and the value of the cluster centroid indicated that cluster 1 is lecturers with relatively high publication performance performance and cluster 3 shows relatively low publication performance performance. The data from clustering results can be used for decision support model input data for broader lecturer performance performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality, the effect of product innovation, and the effect of price perceptions on purchasing decisions. This study uses non probability sampling techniques and purposive sampling approach with the variabels of product quality, product innovation, and price perceptions. The population is consumers of Indomie brand instant noodle products who are in Klaten Regency and have consumed Indomie brand instant noodle productsat least 3 times. This study uses a sample of 100 respondents with data collection using a questionnaire. Based on the research results, it is hoped that Indomie will be able to maintain its quality, add new and more unique innovations, and maintain prices that can be reached by all the general public.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explain the possible application of a circular economy model in Indonesia. Circular economy is closely related to environmental ethical problems, especially waste, as a result of the post-use benefit of an item. This paper is a qualitative reflective study with a literature study approach. Reflection is carried out in-depth with literature sources that are compatible and relevant to the study conducted. Thus, the data used are secondary data from credible sources that have been tracked by researchers. Secondary data are analyzed by interacting propositions, textual realities, and other statements considered important by the researcher. The results of the study describe how a circular economy is an actual, moderate alternative to environmental economic and ethical issues. The predicted linear economic limitations do not guarantee balance and environmental sustainability has obtained a replacement model. Thus the circular economy is a potential model for the future of the national economy that needs to be developed.

Abstract

Most of the agricultural lands in Indonesia are in the same condition, which is the decrease in soil fertility. Continuous supply of chemical fertilizers causes soil to become nutrient poor, microbial diversity poor, hardened, and not loose. Besides this soil damage is also characterized by acidic soil pH. Soil acidification can cause a decrease in crop yields. This study aims to determine the effect of Chlorella pyrenoidosa microalgae in recovery soil acidity and its effect on rice crop productivity. This research involved laboratory analysis and field analysis. Laboratory analysis was conducted by treating acidic soil using 3 types of treatment, namely treatment using lime, treatment using urea chemical fertilizer, and treatment using Chloten fertilizer (Chlorella pyrenoidosa). Based on the laboratory scale analysis conducted the best results in recovery soil acidity are Chloten fertilizer (Chlorella pyrenoidosa) because it improves soil pH from acid (4,5) to neutral pH (7) which is the optimal pH for soil.

Abstract

Selling is one of the main goals of a company after producing its goods. The more goods sold, the more economic value the company is selling. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine how much the rate of increase or decrease in the number of book sales at the publisher of Erlangga Pematangsiantar is in the form of prediction. This study uses an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with the Backpropagation method. Backpropagation is a method that is often used for prediction. The research data is secondary data (sales data) sourced from PT. Publisher Erlangga Pematangsiantar from 2013 to 2017. Data is divided into 2 parts, namely training data and testing data. There are 5 architectural models used in this study, 3-9-1, 3-11-1, 3-15-1, 3-30-1, and 3-31-1. Of the 5 (five) architectural models used, the best architecture is 3-11-1 with an accuracy rate of 80% and MSE 0.13001601. So this model is good for predicting the number of book sales at PT. Publisher Erlangga Pematangsiantar.
