Abstract

The study aims to determine the impact of a compost dose on plam seed growht and to determine the ideal dosage for plam seed growth. The research out in the experimental garden of Graha Karya College of Agriculture, Muara Bulian Batanghari Jambi province, the research was conducted for three months starting, from October 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. The research was conducted using Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments 4 replications. The treatment is compost consisting of. K1 = Dose of 100 Gram per polybag, K2 = Dose of 200 Gram per polybag, K3 = Dose of 300 Gram per polybag, K4 = Dose of 400 Gram per polybagbag K5 = Dose of 500 Gram per polybag, K6 = Dose of 600 Gram per polybag. In this study there were 6 treatments in the study area, each treatment was repeated 4 times, so that obtained 24 plots or plot plots. Variables observed were sprout growth, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width and plant height, then the observation data were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance and followed by DNMRT (Duncan New Multiple Range Test) test α 5%. The results showed that the dose of compost from weeds significantly affected the growth of sprouts, leaf length, leaf width and plant height but did not significantly affect the number of leaves of oil palm seedlings in pre-nursery. Compost doses of 100 g weeds provide the best growth for oil palm seedlings in pre-nursery.

Abstract

Soils in dry land generally have low soil quality. This is related with lack of crontrollingfactors of soil fertility such as the low content of organic matter and nutrients. Land on dry landgenerally has low soil quality, this is related to the lack of controlling factors for soil fertilitysuch as low organic matter content and nutrients. Research Objectives To provide a generaldescription of the biophysical conditions of dry land in the West Reuleut Village of North AcehDistrict Muara Batu District and its potential suitability associated with crop development andpatterns. This research was carried out on Dryland West Reuleut Village, Muara Batu District,North Aceh Regency. Flat photography is located at an altitude of + 7 meters above sea level. The study began in August 2017 and ended in April 2018. The study began with pre-researchwith soil sampling. The method used in this study is a semi-detailed survey level free grid surveymethod. Research Results Based on dry land biophysical conditions, especially the conditions ofthe agro-climate zone, then several districts in North Aceh as a limiting factor are nutrientretention of pH and soil organic matter, nutrient availability of N, P, K so that to rehabilitate andoptimize marginal (critical) land in North Aceh district can be done by planting food crops usingintercropping systems

Abstract

Law no. 14/2005 on Teachers and Lecturers and Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 37/2009 on Lecturers certainly guarantees the existence of lecturers in universities both public and Private, especially swata universities often face off between lecturers and college managers namely foundations. The Foundation as one of the institutions that has a license to establish and or manage high-profile institutions often ignores the rules that apply in accordance with the laws and regulations, sometimes the foundation of a college often intervenes in the policies that will be issued by the head of the college, often harming the lecturers who are based in the college, thus harming the rights of lecturers, and not keeping agreements or contact work towards permanent lecturers or non-permanent lecturers. To ensure legal protection for lecturers both permanent and non-permanent in universities managed by the Foundation, therefore there needs to be more in-depth research on the Legal Protection of Lecturers' Rights and Obligations against Foundation Intervention in Universities This research is a normative empirical juridical research, namely by conducting an analysis of the problem through studying the legal norms contained in the laws and regulations in Indonesia and looking at the reality that occurs in the field. How is it technically done in the field against the rights and obligations of lecturers to the intervention of the foundation, whether in accordance with the applicable laws in Indonesia. Whereas Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers only guarantees legal protection in carrying out professional duties, does not guarantee legal protection regarding the rights and obligations of a lecturer who receives a wage or salary from a tertiary institution, let alone the existence of a foundation intervention that manages a tertiary institution which is protected by Law No. 16 of 2001 concerning the Foundation. Thus, it is very necessary to have a new legal arrangement or legal product to regulate legal protection of the rights and obligations of lecturers, legal products can be in the form of Laws, Ministerial Regulations and Regional Regulations if it is possible that these regions have the same vision and mission government, namely the intellectual life of the nation one of the goals of the Republic of Indonesia.
