Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Lengkung siswa kelas IX A SMPN 1 Mempawah Hilir, setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran window shoping. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, dengan bantuan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar (tingkah laku) 29 siswa. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu: tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terjadi peningkatan minat belajar siswa, ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran window shoping kegiatan belajar mengajar terlaksana sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan. Aktivitas siswa berubah dari tidak melakukan menjadi melakukan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how students' learning activities in learning mathematics during the covid-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 03 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive with the type of qualitative research. The research subjects were 37 students of class XI Accounting 2 who took part in mathematics lessons during the covid-19 pandemic. The results of data analysis showed that student learning activities in learning mathematics during the pandemic at SMK Negeri 03 Pontianak were in the "quite active" category. With three indicators which include student’s writing activities in learning mathematics during covid-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 03 Pontianak were in the “quite active” category, student’ drawing activities in learning mathematics during the covid-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 03 Pontianak were in the “quite active” category, and students’  motor activities in learning mathematics during the covid-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 03 Pontianak were in the “quite active” category.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal ethnomathematical activities and mathematical concepts on senggayong musical instruments in Pangkalan Buton Village, Sukadana District, North Kayong Regency. The method used is descriptive method. While the form of research is a form of qualitative research. The subjects in this study are people who are considered to be able to assist in providing information and data about senggayong musical instruments, namely the makers, players, and conservationists of senggayong musical instruments. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques based on Miles & Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The results of data analysis show that there are ethnomathematical activities and mathematical concepts on senggayong musical instruments, namely counting activities that occur when counting the bamboo to be used, activities of measuring each piece of bamboo used, designing activities of making senggayong musical instruments, activities of determining a meaningful location in taking Bamboo that is suitable for making senggayong musical instruments is bamboo that is exposed to sunlight, the activity of playing a senggayong musical instrument and the activity of explaining the process in making and playing the instrument. Then the mathematical concepts that were found based on the shape and beat of the senggayong musical instrument, namely in the form of a geometric shape of a tube shape and its beat, the concepts of arithmetic sequences and geometric sequences were obtained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk .mendeskripsikan secara utuh RPP pendekatan saintifik yang dibuat oleh guru matematika di SMPN 1 Samalantan sebagai bahan persiapan mengajar. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 1 orang guru matematika yang telah menggunakan pendekatan saintifik terhadap RPP.objek penelitian ini adalah. rencana pelajaran pembelajaran guru. Alat pengumpulan data yang peneliti gunakan adalah berupa observasi. lembar.untuk guru RPP.dengan.pendekatan.ilmiah.dan.lembar observasi untuk guru pelaksana.Rencana.dengan.pendekatan ilmiah. Hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh menunjukkan sebagai berikut. (1) persentase nilai hasil isi RPP adalah 97,56% dalam kategori sangat baik sesuai dengan pedoman lembar observasi RPP yang digunakan guru; (2) Penyajian hasil observasi pelaksanaan RPP dengan menggunakan lembar observasi pada. Implementasi RPP guru di kelas mendapat skor 2,07 berkisar 1-4 dengan kategori cukup sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan guru dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode saintifik. .approach. masih belum efektif.Kata kunci: RPP, Pendekatan Saintifik, Pembelajaran Matematika

Abstract

The observation aimed to determine conceptual understanding scale of the seventh grade students of SMP Islam Tazkiyah Pontianak on the material of integer operations, beside that this study intended to describe the implications of the misconceptions that occur in the material of integer operations with the answers obtained by students and describe the factors involved. Factors influenced the occurrence of misconceptions about integer operations in seventh grade students at SMP Islam Tazkiyah Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive. Based on the scores obtained by the research subjects, namely the seventh grade students of SMP Islam Tazkiyah Pontianak in solving conceptual understanding questions, the average percentage of achievement was 44.64%. Student representation in completing the test instrument which shows that there are misconceptions about the concept of the number line and its use in everyday life is well understood and mastered, then misconceptions on the basic concepts of the definition of integers and the properties of integers, then the occurrence of misconceptions related to the application of numbers integers in daily life and mastery of the concept of application of integer operations in daily activity.

Abstract

This article is the result of a qualitative descriptive analysis to describe and describe students' mathematical reasoning abilities in problem solving in class VIII G SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. The research subjects were 32 students. Data collection tools are in the form of mathematical reasoning tests on statistical material, especially in the sub-material of data presentation and data concentration steps as well as interview guidelines. The results of data analysis showed that based on the category of upper, middle and lower level of reasoning ability, it was classified as moderate because there were 2 students (6.25%) in the upper level reasoning category, then there were 18 students (56.25). %) in the intermediate level reasoning category. , and 12 students (37.5%) were included in the lower-level reasoning category. Students with upper level abilities are able to fulfill indicators of applying numerical mathematics, check the validity of a contradiction, and provide reasons or evidence for the accuracy of the arrangement, students with intermediate abilities are able to meet indicators of applying numerical mathematics and provide reasons or evidence for the accuracy of settings, students with high level abilities bottom height can only meet the indicators of applying numerical mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an Android-based linear programming learning media using Lectora Inspire that is feasible and effective for use in the learning process.  This research is motivated by learning that must go hand in hand with technological developments and students have other learning resources not necessarily from the teacher, namely by using Android.  This research is a research and development using a 4D model.  The stages used are only up to Development.  The subjects in this study were three material experts, three media experts and the responden of 24 students of grade XI.  The object of the study is the product of the Android-based linear program learning media design using the Lectora Inspire program. The data collection instrument in this study to use a questionnaire.  The result showed that the product made obtained an average score of 4.69 in the very eligible category based on material experts and an average score of 4.33 in the very eligible category based on media esperts  Meanwhile, for students responses, obtained an average score of 4.19 was obtained in the eligible category.  So the Android-based linear programming learning media using Lectora Inspire is feasible to use.

Abstract

This research includes descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were mathematics teachers, and class X students of SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo in the 2021/2022 academic year. The object of this research is the implementation of the use of a trigonometry module with a guided discovery approach to students' interest in learning. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. From the results of research conducted, students' interest in learning obtained an average percentage on the aspect of feeling happy of 70.44% including the "high" criteria, on the interest aspect getting a percentage of 85.42% including the "very high" criteria, on the involvement aspect obtained a percentage of 73.44% included in the "high" criteria. In the aspect of independence, the percentage of 86.72% is included in the "very high" criteria. All aspects accumulated to obtain a percentage of 79.01% which is included in the "high" criteria. So it can be interpreted that the student's response to the implementation of the use of the module is good and increases student interest in learning so that the module is well used for learning mathematics. However, there are some obstacles, namely students still need adjustments when they first use the module and there are slight revisions or improvements in certain parts in order to produce a better module, making it easier for readers to use it.

Abstract

Based on the results of the study, in general there are still many students who experience errors in solving problems on the material of a two-variable system of linear equations. The errors experienced by students based on student error indicators are as follows. wrong in choosing a formula or method to solve the problem, wrongly determining the unit of the object in the problem, wrongly writing what to askand know about the difficulty, wrong in using the rules that exist in the elimination and substitution method, wrong perception in interpreting the meaning of the problem. questions, as well as misperceptions between methods of elimination and substitution. While the overall factors causing the error include the following. Factors that come from within students, namely the lack of mastery of the material and lack of interest in mathematics. Factors that come from outside the students are the way the teacher gives lessons.
