Abstract

The study of theory and practice in marketing has explored and provided an operational definition of brand image which is one of the most extensive and intensive constructs. The purpose of this study is to describe the brand image in the study of the philosophy of science. This study will explain the brand image which will be explained from the aspects of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The methodology in this study is to conduct a literature review from empirical sources or previous research. This study produces a conceptual model of age and gender variables that moderate the influence of brand image and brand personality on brand loyalty which affects brand equity.

Abstract

Mobile banking is a service provided by a bank that allows customers to carry out various types of transactions anytime and anywhere through mobile media. This service is not only used by customers in general, but UIN students as current customers have also used these services in paying tuition bills. However, most students still do not take advantage of the convenience of these services. This study aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness and risk of using m-banking services at Bank Syariah Indonesia on customer satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study was all students of UIN class of 2019 totaling 6,435. The results of this study are the effectiveness variable does not partially affect customer satisfaction in the use of m-banking services at Bank Syariah Indonesia, while the risk variable has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction in using m-banking services at Bank Syariah Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leading sector among provinces of Java Island. To accomplish economic development in a region, the local government often takes part in increasing the GDRP to achieve the people's well-being. It is essential to understand what sectors that could bring the most benefit to the economic agents. This study uses the Location Quotient (LQ) method with the sectoral current price GDRP data. The main result has shown that the provinces of Java Island have their advantage and disadvantage. Most of them excel in the agricultural sector except Jakarta Special Capital Region (SCR). Banten has a better real estate sector than the rest of Java Island, while most services sector has led by Jakarta SCR.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of the principal's situational leadership and facilities on the performance of employees at Yadika Senior High Schools throughout Jabodetabek. This study uses quantitative research methods with data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires and literature. In this study, the sample used was 96 educators and education staff at Yadika Senior High Schools throughout Jabodetabek. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS application. The results showed that; The situational leadership variable of the principal partially has a significant effect on the performance of school employees, the infrastructure variable has a significant effect on the performance of school employees, while the situational leadership variable of the principal and infrastructure simultaneously or simultaneously has a significant effect on employee performance with a percentage of 52,9 %, while the remaining 47,1% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

In 2021 it was found that Shopee was the number one e-commerce application with the most visitors, while the level of visitors from other e-commerce applications was under Shopee. Seeing the high level of visitors and consumer satisfaction as well as the number of purchasing decision makers on the Shopee application is the reason behind the author to carry out research on the factors that influence purchasing decisions in business digital Shopee’s e-commerce. The problem approach uses statistical methods starting with the procedures for collecting data, categorizing, summarizing, and delivering data on a phenomenon, and with SmartPLS 3 for descriptive statistical testing, testing the outer or inner model data quality along with the model fit test. The results showed that brand image, price, and product knowledge have a significant positive effect on Shopee’s purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the promotion has no influence on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance (managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and independent board of commissioners) on profitability with audit quality as a moderating variable. The population of this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample selection method is the purposive sampling method. The number of samples used in this study was 22 companies, and the number of years of research was five years (2016-2020) so the total observation data used was 110. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). using smartPLS software version 3. The results of this study show that institutional ownership and independent board of commissioners significantly influence the profitability variable, while the effect of managerial ownership on profitability is not significant, the effect of audit quality on profitability is also not significant, audit quality is not able to moderate the effect of variables managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and independent board of commissioners on Profitability. The implication of this research is to provide strategic recommendations for companies in increasing profitability.

Abstract

A marketplace is a means of conducting shopping activities. Its presence brings convenience and encourages consumptive behavior that is difficult to control, such as compulsive buying. This study aims to analyze the influence of compulsive buying seen from the perception of price and promotion. Through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents and using descriptive analysis methods and multiple linear regression analysis, the results showed that the price perception variable did not affect compulsive buying, but the promotion variable influenced compulsive buying.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence patient satisfaction and loyalty in regional public hospitals. This study used a survey with 235 participants and used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to get the research results. The results show that the patient is not at all affected by the service quality of RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang. The happiness of patients at RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang was influenced by their estimate of hospital prices. The positive corporate image of RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang is useful for patients in making decisions. RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang does not care about improving the quality of his services because his patients remain loyal. The impression of a price that benefits patients at RSUD Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang has a direct impact on practice retention rates. There is a positive relationship between the image of RS Dr. M. Ashari Pemalang with patient retention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze customer satisfaction in the city of Batam. The data collected in this study were 400 respondents. This study uses primary data using an online questionnaire (google form). Respondents are Batam residents who use the marketplace. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling. This research uses a quantitative analysis method. This study uses the Partial Least Squares (PLS) methods with SPSS Statistics. The study results are Shopee (Indonesia) and Taobao (China) are the most widely used marketplaces in Batam. E-Service quality, brand image, price, product quality, and trust significantly influence a purchase decision. In addition, price, product quality, and trust significantly affect customer satisfaction. Although e-service quality and brand image are not determinants in the satisfaction felt by marketplace users, they are the basis for consumer observations and decisions when buying the desired product.

Abstract

Program Sembako is one of the food assistance instruments to reduce the burden on household expenses in accessing food as well as to meet adequate nutritional needs as an effort to prevent stunting. This study aims to analyze the effect of the basic food program on the stunting prevalence rate in Indonesia. The method used is Two-Stage Least Squares using STATA 16 in processing to test the significance of research. The results of the first stage IV2SLS show that there is a significant positive relationship between the Program Sembako and adequate nutritional intake, then the results of the second stage show that the higher the adequacy of household nutritious food intake, the lower the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia. In addition, there is a significant effect of the BCG vaccine and ownership of proper sanitation on the prevalence of stunting. Program Sembako will reduce the expenditure burden of poor families in terms of food, so that some of the basic needs of the poor can be met. On the other hand, developing the types of foodstuffs obtained from this program will be able to improve community nutrition, especially for children from an early age so that it will have an effect on reducing stunting.
