Abstract

ABSTRAKIkan bandeng (Chanos chanos) merupakan salah satu jenis ikan budidaya yang dapat ditemukan di perairan payau. Produksi budidaya ikan bandeng yang semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya, menyebabkan meningkatnya limbah yang masih belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, salah satunya tulang ikan. Industri pengolahan bandeng tanpa duri menghasilkan hasil samping berupa duri, tulang dan sisik. Tulang ikan merupakan hasil samping yang kurang dimanfaatkan dan mengandung sekitar 85% mineral yaitu berupa kalsium fosfat. Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan tulang ikan yaitu mengolahnya menjadi tepung dengan melakukan fortifikasi pada kue kembang goyang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui karakteristik fisikokimia kue kembang goyang  dengan fortifikasi tepung tulang ikan bandeng. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan penambahan persentase tepung tulang ikan bandeng (0%, 2%,  4%, 6%) pada kue kembang goyang. Parameter yang diuji pada penelitian ini adalah kadar air, kadar abu, kadar protein, kadar lemak, kadar karbohidrat, kadar kalsium, dan higroskopisitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fortifikasi tepung tulang ikan bandeng memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap uji fisikokimia. Hasil analisis fisikokimia pada kadar air (1,49-2,65%), abu (0,94-1,61%), lemak (3,44-4,04%), protein (5,03-5,38%), karbohidrat (87,04-88,15%),  kalsium (0,39-1,10%) dan higrokopositas (2,70-6,15g).Kata kunci : Fortifikasi, Ikan bandeng, Kalsium, Kembang Goyang, Tepung Tulang Ikan.ABSTRACTMilkfish (Chanos chanos) is a cultivated fish found in brackish water. Milkfish aquaculture production increased every year, causing a massive waste that has not processed optimally, one of the waste is fish bones. The boneless milkfish processing industry produces by products in the form of spines, bones and scales. Fish bone is a by product that is underutilized and contains about 85% of minerals, namely calcium phosphate. One form of utilizing fish bones is to process them into flour by fortifying the kembang goyang crackers.The purpose of this study were to the physicochemical characteristics of kembang goyang crackers with milkfish bone flour fortification. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with the addition of the percentage of milkfish bone meal (0%, 2%, 4%, 6%) in the kembang goyang crackers. The parameters tested in this study were moisture, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrate, and calcium content, also hygroscopicity. The results showed that the fortification of milkfish bone meal had a significant effect on the physicochemical tests. Physicochemical analysis results on moisture content (1.49-2.65%), ash (0.94-1.61%), fat (3.44-4.04%), protein (5.03-5.38%), carbohydrates (87.04-88.15%), calcium (0.39-1.10%) and hygrocopositivity (2.70-6.15g).Keywords: Calcium, Fish Bone Meal, Fortification, Kembang Goyang, Milkfish.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTransfection is a powerful tool for introducing foreign DNA into target cells. Many kits and methods are offered to simplify the process of introducing foreign DNA into cells. ZF4 is a cell type derived from zebrafish that is difficult to transfect. The majority of studies involving transfection into cells require transfection efficiency 70%. Our research demonstrates transfection using 2 kinds of methods, namely chemical transfection using X-tremeGene HP and electroporation-based transfection using a nucleofector device which will later be called Nucleofection. Our results show that transfection using electricity (Nucleofection) provides better transfection efficiency than chemical transfection (X-tremeGene HP).Keywords: maxGFP, nucleofection, transfection, zebrafish (Danio rerio), ZF4 cells

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                           Udang Galah (Macrobranchium rosenbergii) merupakan salah satu jenis crustacea, yang mempunyai ukuran terbesar dibandingkan dengan udang air tawar lainnya. Penggunaan probiotik terhadap perbaikan mutu kualitas air kinerja pertumbuhan hewan budidaya sudah lazim digunakan. Namun demikian, pada budidaya udang galah masih sangat terbatas informasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui jenis probiotik yang berpengaruh dalam budidaya udang galah (M. rosenbergii), yang dipelihara dalam wadah terkontrol. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 60 hari di UPT Laboratorium Terpadu Universitas Khairun, Kota Ternate Provinsi Maluku Utara. Penelitian dirancang dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari empat perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah probiotik yang berbeda, yaitu probiotik boster planktop (10 ml), probiotik boster sel multi (10 ml), probiotik boster bio lakto (10 ml), dan tanpa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pemberian probiotik boster planktop signifikan berpengaruh pada kelangsungan hidup udang galah, sedangkan pertumbuhan mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik dan rasio konversi pakan tidak signifikan. Disamping itu, pemberian probiotik yang berbeda menurunkan konsentrasi amoniak dan nitrit, dan juga mempertahankan kualitas air media pemeliharaan.Kata kunci: Probiotik, pertumbuhan, limbah N, udang galahABSTRACTGiant Shrimp (Macrobranchium rosenbergii) is one type of crustacean, which has the largest size compared to freshwater shrimp. The use of probiotics to improve water quality, growth performance of cultivated animals is commonly used. However, the information on giant prawn cultivation is still very limited. This study aims to determine the types of probiotics that have an effect on the cultivation of giant prawns (M. rosenbergii), which are kept in controlled containers. The research was carried out for 60 days at the UPT Integrated Laboratory of Khairun University, Ternate City, North Maluku Province. The study was designed with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of four treatments and three replications. The treatments tested were different probiotics, namely planktop booster probiotics (10 ml), multi cell booster probiotics (10 ml), bio lacto booster probiotics (10 ml), and without. The results of the analysis showed that different probiotics had an effect on the survival of giant prawns, while absolute growth, specific growth rate and feed conversion ratio were not significant. In addition, the administration of different probiotics reduces the concentration of ammonia and nitrite, and also maintains the water quality of the maintenance media.Keywords: Probiotics, growth, waste removal, giant prawns

Abstract

ABSTRAKIkan Sumera (Tor tambroides) termasuk dalam family Cyprinidae yang hidup di perairan air tawar salah satunya hidup di perairan Aek Sibundong Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kemungkinan penggunaan karakter morfometrik untuk melihat perbedaan antara ikan jantan dan betina pada ikan Sumera. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember tahun 2022 menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Identifikasi morfologi ikan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengukuran karakter morfometrik. Pengukuran karakter morfometrik ikan mengacu pada Smith (1945). Jumlah sampel didapatkan sebanyak 30 ekor ikan Sumera, 15 ekor ikan jantan memiliki kisaran panjang total yaitu 17.5 – 30.3 cm dengan kisaran berat 50-315 g dan 15 ekor ikan betina memiliki kisaran panjang total yaitu 15.6 - 30.3 cm dengan kisaran berat 30-315 g. Berdasarkan hasil uji t terhadap proporsi karakter morfometrik ikan Sumera antara ikan jantan dan betina tidak jauh berbeda nyata. Hanya terdapat 4 karakter morfometrik yang berbeda yaitu pada bagian panjang dasar sirip anal (ABL), lebar badan (BW), panjang sebelum sirip anal (PAL), dan panjang sirip dada (PCL).Kata Kunci: Ikan Sumera (Tor tambroides), karakter morfometrik, perairan Aek SibundongABSTRACTThe Sumera fish (Tor tambroides) belongs to the Cyprinidae family which lives in fresh water waters, one of which lives in the waters of Aek Sibundong, Central Tapanuli Regency. This study aims to evaluate the possibility of using morphometric characters to see differences between male and female fish in Sumera fish. This research was conducted in December 2022 using the simple random sampling method. Identification of fish morphology was carried out using morphometric character measurements. Measurement of fish morphometric characters refers to Smith (1945). The number of samples obtained was 30 Sumera fish, 15 male fish had a total length range of 17.5 – 30.3 cm with a weight range of 50-315 g and 15 female fish had a total length range of 15.6 - 30.3 cm with a weight range of 30-315 g. Based on the results of the t test on the proportion of morphometric characters of Sumera fish, the male and female fish were not significantly different. There were only 4 different morphometric characters namely anal fin length (ABL), body width (BW), length before anal fin (PAL), and pectoral fin length (PCL).Keywords: Aek Sibundong waters, morphometric characters, Sumerian fish (Tor tambroides)

Abstract

ABSTRAKUdang vannamei mempunyai banyak keunggulan daripada udang jenis lainnya, akan tetapi resisten terhadap serangan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus. Virus WSSV merupakan virus yang menyerang sistem organ dari crustacea yang menyebabkan spot putih atau bercak putih di permukaan eksternal udang sehingga menimbulkan kerugian berupa kematian tinggi mencapai 100% dari udang pemeliharaan dalam waktu 3-10 hari sejak gejala klinis muncul. Metode pemeriksaan WSSV (White Spot Syndrome Virus) pada udang vannamei dilakukan dengan uji PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). Prosedur diawali persiapan sampel, ekstraksi sampel, persiapan reagen, amplifikasi pada mesin PCR, persiapan elektroforesis, proses elektrophoresis, analisis hasil pada UV Transilluminator, dokumentasi hasil dan pembacaan hasil. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPT Laboratorium Kesehatan Ikan dan Lingkungan, Pasuruan Jawa Timur dari tanggal 17 Januari sampai 17 Februari 2022 dengan tujuan mengetahui hasil pemeriksaan WSSV dengan uji PCR pada udang vannamei. Pemeriksaan sampel 59 dan 61 menunjukkan hasil WSSV negatif dengan adanya 1 garis perpendaran pita DNA (band) ukuran 848 bp, sampel tersebut tidak terinfeksi virus WSSV. Pembacaan hasil uji PCR (+) WSSV berat (severe) terlihat 3 garis perpendaran pita DNA (band) ukuran 910 bp, 550 bp, 296 bp, yang terjadi pada sampel 57 dan sampel duplo 57. Sampel 72 menunjukkan hasil (+) WSSV ringan (light) yang terlihat 1 garis perpendaran pita DNA (band) dengan ukuran 296 bp. Kata Kunci: Udang vannamei, WSSV (White Spot Syndrome Virus), PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) ABSTRACTVannamei shrimp has many advantages over other types of shrimp, but this shrimp is resistant to disease caused by viruses. WSSV virus is a virus that attacks the organ systems of crustaceans which causes white spots or white spots on the external surface of shrimp, causing losses in the form of high mortality reaching 100% of reared shrimp within 3-10 days since clinical symptoms appear. The WSSV (White Spot Syndrome Virus) examination method in vannamei shrimp can be done by using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test. The procedure begins with sample preparation, sample extraction, reagent preparation, amplification on a PCR machine, electrophoresis preparation, electrophoresis process, analysis of results on UV Transilluminator, documentation of results and reading of results. This research was conducted at UPT Fish and Environmental Health Laboratory, Pasuruan, East Java from January 17 to February 17 2022 with the aim of knowing the results of the WSSV examination with PCR test on vannamei shrimp. Examination of samples 59 and 61 showed negative WSSV results with 1 fluorescent DNA band (band) measuring 848 bp, the samples were not infected with the WSSV virus. The reading of the heavy (severe) WSSV PCR test results showed 3 fluorescent lines of DNA bands (bands) measuring 910 bp, 550 bp, 296 bp, which occurred in sample 57 and sample duplo 57. Abstract

ABSTRAKPertumbuhan post larva udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pakan, salah satunya kadar protein. Kekurangan kadar protein dapat menghambat pertumbuhan. Sebaliknya, jika berlebihan dapat meningkatkan energi untuk katabolisme protein yang salah satu hasilnya berupa nitrogen yang akan dikeluarkan dalam bentuk amoniak melalui ginjal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar protein pakan yang optimal terhadap pertumbuhan berat mutlak udang vaname umur PL8-PL21 di bak-bak percobaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 perulangan. Lima perlakuan tersebut, yaitu perlakuan A ; pakan komersial berkadar protein 25%, B ; pakan komersial berkadar protein 30%, C ; pakan komersial beradar protein 35%, D ; pakan komersial berkadar protein 40%, dan E ; pakan komersial berkadar protein 45%. Hewan ujinya berupa udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) umur PL8dengan berat rata-rata 0.0012 gr/ekor. Jumlah padat tebar 1 ekor/liter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan C menghasilkan pertumbuhan tertinggi dengan rata-rata 0.073 gr/ekor. Data kualitas air diperoleh suhu air berkisar 27,40-27,42oC, derajat keasaman 7,71-7,72 dan oksigen terlarut bekisar 6,18-6,19 ppm.Kata Kunci: kadar protein, pakan komersial, pertumbuhan berat mutlak, udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) umur PL8-PL21.ABSTRACTThe growth of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) postlarvae is significantly influenced by the quality of the feed, one of which is protein content. A deficiency in protein levels can inhibit growth. Conversely, if excessive can increase energy for protein catabolism, one of the results is in the form of nitrogen which will be excreted in the form of ammonia through the kidneys. This study aims to determine the optimal feed protein content for absolute weight growth of PL8-PL21 vannamei shrimp in experimental tub. This study used an experimental method with 5 treatments and 5 repetitions. The five treatments, namely treatment A ; commercial feed with 25% protein, B ; commercial feed with 30% protein, C ; commercial feed containing 35% protein, D ; commercial feed with 40% protein, and E ; commercial feed with 45% protein content. The test animals were vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) PL8 age with an average weight of 0.0012 g/head. Total stocking density of 1 head/litre. The results showed that treatment C produced the highest growth with an average of 0.073 g/head. Water quality data obtained water temperature ranged from 27.40-27.42oC, acidity degree 7.71-7.72, and dissolved oxygen ranged from 6.18-6.19 ppm.Key words: protein content, commercial feed, absolute weight growth, vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) PL8-PL21 age

Abstract

ABSTRAKSektor perikanan Indonesia sangat potensial dan mempunyai prospek besar dalam peningkatan devisa negara, salah satunya budidaya udang vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei). Salah satu produk perikanan yang mengandung bakteri Lactobacillus adalah probiotik “Boster Bio Lacto”, tersusun dari bakteri Lactobacillus bulgaricus dan Lactobacillus casei. Bakteri Vibrio sp. menyerang udang. Pertumbuhan berdasarkan jumlah ukuran dan kuantitasnya. Fluktuasi pH, tingkat oksigen, temperatur, salinitas, kadar ammonia, serta bahan-bahan organik dapat sebagai penyebab stress pada udang dan memicu penyakit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana efek penambahan Biolacto pada budidaya udang vannamei selama 30 hari terhadap kelimpahan bakteri Vibrio sp., kualitas air dan pertumbuhan serta penambahan dosis Biolacto yang tepat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Biolacto memberikan penurunan kelimpahan bakteri Vibrio sp. pada dosis 10 ppm dan 15 ppm dengan rata-rata 18,40 CFU/mL. Pertumbuhan tertinggi dosis 10 ppm dengan rata-rata berat 26,16 gram dan panjang rata-rata 52,4 mm. Kualitas air dalam kisaran normal. Growth based on the number of sizes and quantities. Fluctuations in pH, oxygen levels, temperature, salinity, ammonia levels, and organic matter can cause stress to shrimp and trigger disease. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of Biolacto on vannamei shrimp culture for 30 days on the abundance of Vibrio sp. bacteria, water quality and growth as well as the addition of the right Biolacto dosage. The results showed that administration of Biolacto reduced the abundance of Vibrio sp. at doses of 10 ppm and 15 ppm with an average of 18.40 CFU/mL. The highest growth dose was 10 ppm with an average weight of 26.16 grams and an average length of 52.4 mm. Water quality within normal range. This study recommends using Biolacto at the right dose because it can affect the abundance of Vibrio sp. bacteria, water quality and the weight and length of shrimp can grow well.Keywords: Biolacto, Vibrio sp. bacteria, water quality, growth, vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei)

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks kondisi dan hubungan panjang-berat Modiolus modulaides di Teluk Kendari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 6 bulan dari bulan Januari-Juni 2018.  Kerang dikumpulkan secara acak menggunakan sekop kecil di dalam transek 1×1 m2. Kerang dibawa ke laboratorium untuk diukur panjang dan beratnya masing-masing menggunakan jangka sorong (ketelitian 0,05 mm) dan timbangan digital (ketelitian 0,01 g). Kerang dikeringkan dengan oven pada suhu 60°C selama 72 jam, dan ditimbang menggunakan timbangan analitik (ketelitian 0,0001 g).  Pertumbuhan kerang dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan indeks kondisi jantan dan betina diuji menggunakan Mann Whitney test (α=0.05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan kerang M. modulaides dari hubungan panjang berat jantan dan betina dengan nilai kisaran dan rata-rata masing-masing yaitu 2,88-3,33 (2,90) dan 2,89-3,47 (2,99) yang berarti kedua jenis kelamin berada dalam kategori isometrik.  Pola perubahan nilai b jantan dan betina berdasarkan waktu pengamatan relatif bersamaan dengan kecenderungan nilai b yang mengalami penurunan dari bulan Januari-Mei. Indeks kondisi jantan dan betina tidak berbeda nyata berdasarkan ukuran dan waktu pengamatan dengan rata-rata masing-masing 2,18±0.96 dan 2,11±0.99. Indeks kondisi tertinggi berdasarkan ukuran dan waktu pengamatan masing-masing ditemukan pada ukuran 4,6-5,0 dan bulan April-Mei, sedangkan indeks kondisi terendah pada ukuran 8,6-9,0 dan bulan Februari. KEYWORDScondition index, length-weight relationship, Modiolus modulaides, growth, Kendari BayABSTRACTThis study was aimed to determine the condition index and the length-weight relationship of Modiolus modulaides in Kendari Bay. This research was carried out for 6 months from January to June 2018. Shells were collected randomly using a small scoop in a 1×1 m2 transect. The mussels were brought to the laboratory to measure their length and weight using a caliper (accuracy of 0.05 mm) and a digital balance (accuracy of 0.01 g). The clams were oven-dried at 60°C for 72 hours, and weighed using an analytical balance (accuracy 0.0001 g). Mussel growth was analyzed using simple linear regression and the condition index of males and females was tested using the Mann Whitney test (α=0.05). The results showed that the growth of M. modulaides mussels from the length-weight relationship of male and female with the range and average values of each were 2.88-3.33 (2.90) and 2.89-3.47 (2.99) respectively which means both sexes are in the isometric category. The pattern of changes in male and female b values based on observation time is relatively the same as the tendency for b values to decrease from January to May. The condition indexes for males and females were not significantly different based on size and time of observation with an average of 2.18 ± 0.96 and 2.11 ± 0.99 respectively. Abstract

ABSTRAKPotensi perikanan di Indonesia sangat besar sehingga banyak yang membudidayakan ikan terutama untuk ikan air tawar. Salah satu jenis ikan air tawar di Indonesia yang potensial adalah ikan nila merah (Oreochromis niloticus). Pertumbuhan yang lambat pada ikan merupakan kendala utama dalam sistem budidaya. Alternatif lain yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjang keberhasilan budidaya adalah dengan cara menambahkan tanaman herbal salah satunya adalah temulawak. Temulawak yang sudah di keringkan kemudian diblender dan menjadi bubuk akan dicampurkan pakan, kemudian di aplikasikan pada ikan yang sudah diletakkan media pemeliharaan. Temulawak (Curcuma zanhorrhiza) merupakan salah satu bahan nabati yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan. Pemberian pakan yang dicampur dengan tanaman herbal dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan berat pada ikan. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian serbuk temulawak pada pakan terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila merah serta untuk mengetahui pada pemberian dosis berapa serbuk temulawak dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan nila merah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan ikan nila merah ukuran 5 – 10 cm di wadah jerigen (4 percobaan masing – masing 6 kali ulangan) dengan jumlah 5 ekor ikan/wadah. Kemudian dihitung pertumbuhan berat mutlak pada akhir penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan dosis pemberian serbuk temulawak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan berat mutlak ikan nila merah. Pertumbuhan berat mutlak tertinggi pada penelitian ini terjadi pada perlakuan P4 dengan pertumbuhan berat mutlak 9.4 gram. Data pengukuran kualitas air selama penelitian berlangsung suhu pagi berkisar antara 27 – 27.5 ºC, suhu sore berkisar antara 28 – 28.5 ºC ; DO pagi berkisar antara 4 – 4.5 mg/L, DO sore berkisar 5 – 5.6 mg/L ; dan pH pagi berkisar 6 – 6.5 ppt, dan pH sore berkisar antara 7 – 7.5 ppt. Pentingnya pengaplikasian serbuk temulawak pada media pemeliharaan adalah mendongkrak pertumbuhan berat mutlak ikan nila merah pada masa pemeliharaan serta untuk menjaga kualitas air agar tetap pada Batasan optimum nilai kualitas air pada budidaya. One type of freshwater fish in Indonesia that has potential is red tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Slow growth of fish is a major obstacle in aquaculture systems. Another alternative that can be used to support the success of cultivation is by adding herbal plants, one of which is temulawak.Temulawak that has been dried is then blended and turned into powder which will be mixed with the feed, then applied to the fish that have been placed on the rearing medium. Temulawak (Curcuma zanhorrhiza) is one of  vegetable ingredients used to increase fish growth. In this study the aims were to determine the effect of giving temulawak powder to the feed on the growth of red tilapia and to find out at what dose giving ginger powder can increase the growth of red tilapia. Feeding mixed with herbal plants can be used to increase weight growth in fish. The research was conducted by experimental method. In this study used red tilapia size 5 – 10 cm in jerry can containers (4 trials each – 6 repetitions) with a total of 5 fish/container. Then the absolute weight growth was calculated at the end of the study. The results of this study indicate that the different doses of temulawak powder have a significant effect on the absolute weight growth of red tilapia. The highest absolute weight growth in this study occurred in the P4 treatment with an absolute weight growth of 9.4 grams. Water quality measurement data during the study took place in the morning temperatures ranged from 27 – 27.5 ºC, afternoon temperatures ranged from 28 – 28.5 ºC ; morning DO ranged from 4 – 4.5 mg/L, afternoon DO ranged from 5 – 5.6 mg/L ; and morning pH ranged from 6 – 6.5 ppt, and afternoon pH ranged from 7 – 7.5 ppt. The importance of applying temulawak powder in rearing media is to boost the absolute weight growth of red tilapia during the rearing period and to maintain water quality so that it remains at the optimum limit for water quality values in aquaculture.Keywords : Absolute weight growth, Temulawak, red tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)

Abstract

ABSTRAKIkan nila merupakan salah satu ikan air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis dan nilai pasar yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian suplemen pakan tambahan (telur bebek, telur puyuh, telur ayam) terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) di balai benih ikan jojogan, tuban Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan pada penelitian ini menggunakan 4 perlakuan dengan 3 kali pengulangan pada setiap perlakuannya. Berdasarkan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) dengan tingkat pertumbuhan berat sangat berpengaruh terhadap benih ikan nila yang tertinggi terjadi pada perlakuan B dengan nilai 9.55 gram dan berat terendah terjadi pada perlakuan A yaitu dengan nilai 93.61 gram. Untuk pertambahan Panjang tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan B dengan nilai 8.2 c, sedangkan pertambahan Panjang terendah terjadi pada perlakuan A yaitu dengan nilai 6.4 cm. Uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) dengan tingkat kelulushidupan tidak berpengaruh terhadap benih ikan nila yang tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan A yaitu pemberian pakan komersil dengan nilai 93% dan yang terendah terdapat pada perlakuan D yaitu perlakuan dengan pakan ditambah dengan telur ayam yaitu dengan nilai 67%. This research was conducted to determine the effect of additional feed supplements (duck eggs, quail eggs, chicken eggs) on the growth of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) seeds at the jojogan fish seed center, Tuban, East Java. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD). The treatment in this study used 4 treatments with 3 repetitions for each treatment. Based on the Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) test, the weight growth rate greatly affected tilapia seeds, the highest in treatment B with a value of 9.55 grams and the lowest in weight in treatment A, with a value of 93.61 grams. The highest increase in length was in treatment B with a value of 8.2 c, while the lowest increase in length occurred in treatment A with a value of 6.4 cm. Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) test with a passing rate of no effect on tilapia seeds, the highest was in treatment A, namely commercial feeding with a value of 93% and the lowest was in treatment D, namely the treatment with feed supplemented with chicken eggs, namely with a value of 67 %.Keywords: Feed, eggs, growth, survival, tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
