Abstract

The position of notary is an office of trust and is a noble profession (officum nobile), in carrying out the duties of his office the notary is regulated by Law No. 30 of 2004 concerning the office of notary which has been amended by Law No. 2 of 2014 concerning the Office of Notary and also regulated in the Code of Ethics for the Notary Profession. in carrying out the duties of a notary has obligations and authorities, one of which is the obligation to be independent. In this study aims to analyze how the ideal regulation so that the principle of notary independence in making deeds can be carried out properly. this research is a notmative legal research where the author approaches the problem by studying the provisions of the applicable law and studying the views and doctrines in legal science relating to the obligation of notaries to act independently in carrying out their job duties. The Notary Position Law has actually provided a legal framework to support the independence of notaries in carrying out their duties. However, the application of this principle of independence in daily practice may depend on how the notary complies with the law and professional ethics and there is still a legal gap where there is no specific regulation relating to the independence or impartiality of notaries. The definition of notary independence in the Notary Law and the notary code of ethics is very limited, with no classification regarding the form of the law, as with the independence of judges who have a clearer classification, it would be better if the code of ethics of the notary profession explains in more detail regarding the independence of notaries in terms of structural, functional, financial, and independence in carrying out the duties of the office of notary.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of testing the development of chemical modules on thermochemical materials. The method used in this study is a mixed method, namely qualitative and quantitative methods. Twelve assertions about the module, including its substance, language, presentation, and graphics, were included in a questionnaire that was used to collect the data. In order to improve the module, respondents were given the opportunity to offer suggestions at the conclusion of the questionnaire. The research's trial portion was conducted in two stages, a minor test and a major test. Chemistry instructors and pupils from three state senior high schools served as the study's subjects. While 30 students and 5 teachers were present for the major trial, only 15 students and 3 teachers were present for the minor trial. The results of the quantitative analysis obtained an average minor test result of 73.91% in the good enough category for teachers and 74.72% for students in the good enough category. Major test results obtained an average of 82.5% in the very good category for teachers and 80.13% for students in the very good category. The qualitative method is based on the suggestions given by the teacher and students and obtained from the questionnaire. There were several suggestions for revisions obtained during these two stages, namely the need to add the amount of information about chemistry, add answers to questions in the module, add pictures or illustrations, correct some typing errors, and slightly enlarge the column of student answers in the module.

Abstract

The Tanimbar Islands Regency has several contradictions with the idea of bureaucratic reform designed by the state, leading to coercive isomorphism in organizational changes due to external pressures. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, gathering data through interviews and document studies. The results indicate that: first, institutional reform will only succeed if there is fairness in resource distribution, both in budget and infrastructure, and if political intervention is minimized to enhance the independence of the existing structures, both regional and functional. This independence can only be achieved by strengthening the capacity of the apparatus in structured performance management based on measurable goal achievements. Second, governance system improvements will not be effective without reforming the mentality of the officials, as improving mentality can maximize compliance with policies and procedures, reducing compromises and formalities in the bureaucracy. Third, in a coercive environment, local governments adjust the qualifications of officials merely to meet the demands of professional image and formality. Fourth, an orientation towards practical politics affects the non-simultaneous bureaucratic reform process and hinders inter-agency coordination.

Abstract

The study aims to analyse the use of AI on social media by non-state far-right activists and   actors in Europe in the political year 2022-2023. The study also examines the problems posed by the use of AI in a political context and the legal measures implemented by European countries to mitigate these potential risks. In the 2022-2023 political year, far-right parties gained seats in parliament and won elections in several European countries. This research is qualitative research using a critical paradigm. This research uses the Theory of Public Sphere. This theory was put forward by Jürgen Habermas whose essence is the formation of group opinion that can maintain structure, modify structure and ideological goals can be resistance to the practice of government and power. Public space theory also analyses the influence of AI in helping to promote the spread of extremist narratives, broaden the appeal of far-right movements to society, and create an atmosphere that encourages radicalization. The results of this study show how important it is to understand how AI technology interacts with the political dynamics of extremism in Europe.
