Examples given are the problem of medication timing and radioactive decay. The community service method consists of material presentation, class discussions, and providing examples of problems that can be solved using similar methods. The community service is carried out once for 2 hours, the results of the community service are measured by a questionnaire, and of the 20 students who participated in the activity, all agreed that this community service provided a new learning experience that was different from the learning experience during the lessons.

Abstract

Sambal pecel is a traditional Indonesian plant-based food product that falls under the low-risk category for halal certification. This study aims to describe the halal certification assistance process provided to the Sambal Pecel Madiun Ikopin MSME through the self-declare scheme. The four-week program included halal literacy education, technical assistance for uploading documents to the SIHALAL system, and verification by an official halal facilitator (PPH assistant). As a result, the MSMEs successfully fulfilled all administrative and technical requirements and obtained a halal certificate. The assistance proved effective in enhancing MSMEs actors’ understanding of halal regulations and their readiness in preparing legal documents such as NIB, halal ingredient lists, and production segregation. The study also highlights challenges including limited digital literacy and user-unfriendly system interfaces. The success of this program not only resulted in halal certification but also improved product competitiveness, consumer trust, and market opportunities. This study recommends a sustainable mentoring model through collaboration between universities, PPH assistants, and BPJPH to expand access to halal certification for MSMEs effectively. The methods used involved lectures and interactive discussions, while the effectiveness of the training was evaluated through pre-test and post-test to assess the participants' knowledge improvement. The results showed that the training was effective in improving participants' understanding. Based on spiderweb analysis, there was a significant increase in several banking literacy indicators. Participants also showed high enthusiasm during the discussion sessions and better understood the use of digital financial products to support business financial management. Overall, this program succeeded in strengthening the banking literacy of SMEs in Subang Regency, especially in knowing and utilizing digital banking services and financing such as KUR. Abstract

Financial literacy equips university students with the knowledge they need to navigate their finances as they grow into independent adults. Our outreach to Malaysian students had two goals: to strengthen their financial understanding and to gauge their current literacy levels. We achieved this through classroom presentations to the students, Q&A sessions, and discussions with student‑affairs staff at Malaysian universities. The core material delivered in the financial literacy session focused on sources of funding for making investments. The findings suggest that Malaysian students deal with challenges much like those faced by Indonesian students, especially in developing essential financial management skills, as their parents entrust them with the responsibility of managing their living and educational expenses independently. Malaysian students also demonstrate the same awareness as their Indonesian peers regarding the importance of engaging in entrepreneurial activities, which help prepare them to become successful economic contributors. The material presented was highly relevant for students interested in becoming entrepreneurs.

Abstract

BUMDes Tanara, located in Tanara District, Serang Regency, Banten Province, has good potential for empowering MSMEs fostered by Tanara BUMDes. Tanara BUMDes has developed partnerships with home industries that are capable of competing with other home industry products in the vicinity of Tanara Village and with various MSME products. Home industry actors frequently encounter challenges such as the absence of technology in their production processes, business mentoring and socialization activities conducted by BUMDes or other entities, and marketing that is still performed manually and does not take advantage of e-commerce assistance or technology. This community service aims to provide knowledge and skills to BUMDes fostered partners in increasing the use of technology and business mentoring, especially in marketing, which the PKM team will carry out through socialization and salesmanship training. Therefore, the community service carried out by the PKM team of Bina Bangsa University, funded by DPPM Kemendiktisaintek, for the Fiscal Year 2025, can provide solutions to Tanara BUMDes fostered partners. The method used was gradual outreach and counseling for BUMDes Tanara's fostered partners. The results of the outreach and counseling activities conducted by the Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) team demonstrated that mentoring and outreach regarding science and high technology needs for the home industry players, fostered by BUMDes Tanara.

Abstract

This study presents a community service initiative aimed at empowering a rural community in Indonesia through training in the post-harvest utilisation of rhizomes using pharmaceutical technology, packaging design, and digital marketing. The project involved 20 participants from the Kebun Merdesa community and was conducted by a team of three lecturers and seven students from the University of Pakuan. The training was divided into several stages, including the production of herbal tea, herbal drinks, and kitchen spices, followed by packaging design using the Canva and Pacdora applications and digital marketing using social media platforms and the Buffer application. The results showed significant improvements in the participants' knowledge and skills across all areas, with increases ranging from 31% to 34% in rhizome processing, herbal product manufacturing, packaging design, and digital promotion. These findings align with previous studies that have highlighted the effectiveness of targeted training programs in enhancing participants’ competency in specialised skill areas. The integration of technical production, innovative packaging, and digital marketing has been shown to significantly impacts the economic resilience and competitiveness of small enterprises in rural areas. This initiative demonstrates a practical model for rural community empowerment that can be replicated in other agricultural areas with similar resources and challenges, supporting the Sustainable Development Goals of decent work, economic growth, and responsible consumption and production. The success of this program provides a strong argument for policy support and funding for community-based pharmaceutical product development, contributing to the resilience of rural economies against market fluctuations and climate-related agricultural risks

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Corporate Governance implementation and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure on company value in manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2023 period. Corporate Governance is measured using several indicators such as institutional ownership and the proportion of independent commissioners. Meanwhile, CSR disclosure is analyzed based on the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) disclosure index. Company value is measured using the Tobin's Q ratio. This study uses a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression approach. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, with 33 companies meeting the criteria. Data were obtained through annual reports and sustainability reports published by each company. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Corporate Governance partially has a significant effect on company value, especially on the variables of institutional ownership and independent commissioners. Meanwhile, CSR disclosure is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on company value. Simultaneously, Corporate Governance and CSR disclosure have a significant effect on increasing company value. This study provides implications that companies need to improve the quality of governance and disclosure of social and environmental information to increase investor confidence and company value in the capital market.
