Abstract

The payment system used by PT PCS can generally be done in cash or credit, the increase in credit sales is an inhibiting factor in increasing company profits, because many customers are late in paying receivables until they exceed the payment due date. This problem occurs because there is no effective accounts receivable control system at PT PCS. This study aims to analyze the accounts receivable internal control system in minimizing bad debts at PT PCS. The method used is descriptive qualitative method to describe the representation of internal control and bad debts at PT PCS through interviews and observations. The results obtained by researchers are, PT PCS has not implemented a good accounts receivable internal control system, as evidenced by the large number of PT PCS employees who collect accounts receivable without paying attention to the terms and conditions in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure for credit sales applicable at PT PCS, and based on the calculation of the accounts receivable collection ratio, proving that uncollectible accounts at PT PCS from 2018 to 2022 have increased significantly.

Abstract

This study will explain the competence of human resources in the digital era to influence better performance. The human resources needed by the industry today are those who have competence in using digital technology. This competency is to realize intelligent factories, such as the Internet of Things (IoT). The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 opens opportunities for human resources (HR) to have skills following the latest technological developments. For this reason, civil servants who are state apparatus must be able to answer the challenges and master competencies in the digitalization era, including complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, human resource management, coordination with others, emotional intelligence, judgment and decision making, orientation service, Negotiation, and cognitive flexibility. This study uses quantitative research methods through the distribution of questionnaires or questionnaires to respondents who have been determined using sampling. The analytical technique used is structural equation modeling analysis. The results show that the appropriate competencies in the digitalization have a significant influence on the performance of public services.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine the impact of price, brand image, and reference groups on Gudang Garam Surya 12 cigarette purchasing decisions in Gresik Regency. In this study's analysis, the following tests are used: the t test (partial), the F test (simultaneous), the normality test, the multicollinearity test, the heteroscedasticity test, the multiple linear regression test, and the determination coefficient test (R2). In this study, questionnaire instruments were used to collect accurate data from 100 customers who bought Gudang Garam Surya 12 cigarettes in Gresik. SPSS is a testing application. The findings of the partial t test research indicate that price, brand image, and reference groups all significantly influence consumers' decisions to buy. According to the findings of the (simultaneous) F test inquiry, the Price, Brand Image, and Reference Group components all have an impact on Purchasing Decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze credit lending in order to minimize non-performing loans at KPRI “HARAPAN” Plumpang. The research was conducted using qualitative methods and data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results showed that the credit lending procedures at KPRI “HARAPAN” Plumpang are in accordance with SOP which includes the stages of credit application, credit analysis, credit decision, credit disbursement, and credit supervision. The non-performing loan (NPL) level fluctuates annually, which in 2020 was 4.93% (healthy), in 2021 was 5.58% (fairly healthy), and in 2022 was 4.47% (healthy), although the target NPL to be achieved is 2-3%. Factors causing non-performing loans include bad debt and business closure of customers. Credit supervision efforts undertaken include monitoring non- performing debtors, evaluating the causes of non-performing loans, and internal audits by the Internal Audit Unit (SKAI). To minimize non-performing loans, KPRI "HARAPAN" Plumpang needs to pay attention to credit lending procedures according to SOP, analysis of the causes of non-performing loans, and strict credit supervision.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how e-promotion, reference groups, and ease of use influence purchasing decisions on the shopee marketplace. This research is conducted using methods of quantitative research can be understood as methods used to research on a particular population or sample, data collection using research instruments, data analysis of a statistical nature, with the aim of testing the hypothesis that has been established. The sample in this study is 160 people who have used marketplace shopee. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research results show that there is an influence between e-promotion, reference groups have an influence on purchasing decisions, while ease has no influence on purchasing decisions in the shopee marketplace.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of perceived benefits, service features and security of the BRImo application on PT customers. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The research was conducted using an online questionnaire to BRImo user customers in the Ciayumajakuning area. This research used quantitative descriptive research with a total of 100 respondents and questionnaires were distributed using the Google Form application. The results of this research show that perceived benefits, service features and security have a positive effect on attitudes towards using the BRImo application.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a specialty chemical manufacturing company with various products for Paper, Water Treatment, Oil Mining, Mining, Plastic, Masterbatch, Agriculture, Home Care, and other industries. PT XYZ in planning its Human Resources must be careful to get optimal workers and high work productivity, so a Workload Analysis is needed to optimize the existing workforce at PT XYZ. In the research process, researchers found the phenomenon of multiple positions in the organizational structure of the Logistics Department of PT XYZ, namely by fore log plant B. This research was conducted with a qualitative method with interviews, observations, and data processing of the daily report of the Foreman Logistic Plant B of PT XYZ. The workload analysis method used in this research is the Workload Indicator of Staffing Needs (WISN) method. With the WISN method, the standard workload can be determined to determine the appropriate number of workers. From the results of research conducted in August 2023, it shows that the standard workload fore log plant B is included in the fit or in accordance with the workload standards set by the company, namely 1.3 so that duplicate positions are allowed.

Abstract

The internal control system is important for companies to maintain company assets, accuracy and reliability of data, encourage efficiency, and encourage compliance with management policies. The cash control system also needs to be considered as an effort to monitor and supervise the company's cash activities. This research aims to evaluate and determine the implementation of the cash internal control system at PT XYZ. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. The data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques in this research used interviews and documentation. The determination of informants was carried out using the snowball sampling method and the data analysis used was the Miles and Huberman model, and to test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of the research obtained data based on 4 (four) elements of the internal control system show that the existing organizational structure at PT XYZ is appropriate, then in document authorization there are documents that do not have the signature of the finance director so that it is lacking in authorizing company documents, company activities have reconciliations that are carried out regularly, and in the recruitment process there are several criteria required. So it can be concluded that PT XYZ has been said to be quite good in internal cash control so that the objectives of implementing control are achieved quite well.

Abstract

Product A at PT XYZ is one of the leading products that is in great demand by customers, which is characterized by an increase in sales in recent years. Therefore, to be able to ensure that customer demand can be met properly, the company must pay attention to human resources related to the production process. For this reason, the measurement of workload in the production department needs to be carried out with the aim of updating the actual data related to the workload borne by workers, so that the optimal number of workers can be known, besides that it can be used as a basis for determining policies when carrying out the recruitment process in the future. This research was conducted using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method, and the results obtained are that the production admin worker has a workload of 1.03 (labor required 1) and a fit workload, shift 1 production operators have a workload of 1 per three people (labor required 3) workload in a fit condition, shift 2 production operators have a workload of 0.82 per 2 operators (labor required 2) but the workload is still underload and finishing workers of 1.08 (labor required 1) workload in a fit condition.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of supervision and sanction on work discipline throught motivation as an intervening variable. The sample used was 66 employes at CV. Mubarokfood Cipta Delicia Kudus. Data collection uses a questionnaire method which is distributed directly to responden. Hypothesis testing was carried out using Partial Least Square 4.0 software. The research results show that supervision has a significant effect on motivation, but other results say that sanction have no effect on motivation. Supervision has a significant effect on work discipline, sanction have no effect on work disiplin, and motivasion has a significant effect on work discipline. This research also tests the indirect effect on work discipline which proves that motivation mediates supervision of work discipline. The result of this research are that the better the supervision, the better employee work discipline will be, but efforts to improve work discipline will increase if motivation can increase supervision so that employees will be more disciplined.
