Abstract

Health care institutions must strive to satisfy customers. The spread of customer complaints should be avoided and instead customer satisfaction should be spread effectively. Satisfied customers usually have high loyalty, which must be maintained rather than chasing other customers who are not necessarily loyal. With the increasingly fierce competition in the global era, customer satisfaction must get serious attention. Every health service provider must try to satisfy customers if it wants to exist in the competition. Keywords: health service; quality; customer satisfaction

Abstract

Dental and oral health is closely related to knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. The environment plays a very important role in the formation of attitudes and behavior for school-age children. The immediate environment where school-age children are located is the family (parents and siblings) and the school environment. The role of parents and teachers is very decisive in changing attitudes and behavior in the maintenance of children's dental and oral health. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role and behavior of parents in order to maintain dental and oral hygiene in children aged 6-10 years. This study was a literature review. Information obtained from text books, journals, books and other literature. The information is collected and processed by the steps of editing, organizing and interpreting. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded: 1) Parents are examples and role models that can be imitated by children, one of which is in maintaining dental and oral health. Therefore, the role of parents is very important and very large in maintaining dental and oral health in children. The effect on the incidence of caries in children is influenced by knowledge, awareness, and habits of parents in caring for children's dental and oral health. 2) The role of parents in maintaining the health of their children's teeth and mouth is to teach children how to brush their teeth properly, namely brushing their teeth 2 times a day every morning after breakfast and at night before going to bed, taking children to the dentist every 6 months, and also giving education about good food and drink to maintain the health of children's teeth and mouth. 3) Parental behavior towards children's dental and oral health is divided into two, namely open behavior and closed behavior. Where closed behavior refers to parental attention, perception, knowledge/awareness, and attitudes. While open behavior is a form of action/practice of closed behavior. Abstract

Most children with autism have problems brushing their teeth and require supervision when brushing their teeth. Reports received from parents/caregivers of children with autism in the city of Surabaya, about 59% of autistic children brush their teeth once a day or less, 37% brush their teeth if they want to and almost 27% don't brush their teeth when they don't want to. As a health worker, oral health promotion have an important role to spread information and guiding them to better health. The health promotion or training process in maintaining the oral health of children with autism has several factors to achieve the goal such as the method; media; message; and the educators themselves. In the process, media and methods are important for the success of an oral health promotion program. Aim: Explain the use of several suitable media and methods for oral health promotion in children with autism. Methods: Systematic literature review. Population: Children with autism Results: Several media and methods that can be used in promoting the health of autistic children are visual media (picture cards, pictures, flipcharts, social story), digital media (software applications), and audio-visual media (video) as well as several methods, such as PECS, tell show do, visual pedagogy, self-modeling, TEACCH, and yoga Conclusion: Visual media is the most widely used media in the articles that are reviewed. Some of the appropriate media that can be used in promoting the health of autistic children are visual media (picture cards, pictures, flipcharts, social story); digital media (software applications), and audio-visual (video) media. Some methods that are appropriate for autistic children are PECS, tell-show-do, visual pedagogy, self-modeling, TEACCH, and additional methods are found, namely the yoga method. Visual pedagogy and PECS methods are the most widely used methods in the reviewed articles. Keywords: children with autism; autism spectrum disorder; oral health promotion; media

Abstract

Cardiac arrest is a condition in which there is a sudden cessation of the normal circulation of blood characterized by a loss of arterial blood pressure. Cardiac arrest can be caused by cardiovascular disease factors or by accident factors. Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere and anytime, and many people around are not able to provide help if there are victims of cardiac arrest, so if there are victims, they are left alone. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of basic life support training on knowledge of handling cardiac arrest victims in Destana volunteers in Klotok Village, Plumpang District, Tuban. The research method used is a cross sectional study approach. The population used in this study was Destana volunteers who met the inclusion criteria as many as 40, with a sample size of 36 respondents who were determined using simple random sampling. The independent variable in this study was basic life support training, while the dependent variable was the treatment of cardiac arrest victims. The instruments used in data collection are questionnaires and SOPs. Research analysis using Wilcoxon test. Statistical results showed that the basic life support training variable had a significant effect on the treatment of cardiac arrest victims with p-value = 0.002. The results of this study are suggested to be a reference for respondents, health institutions, the community and further researchers in increasing knowledge of handling cardiac arrest. Abstract

Compliance with control of pulmonary tuberculosis patients to the pulmonary clinic is influenced by several factors, one of which is the hospital environment (doctors, nurses, midwives and other health teams). Nurses are professions that are very close to patients, one of the approaches used by nurses is the role of nurses as educators. The purpose of this study was to identify the compliance of Tuberculosis patients for re-control and to find out the relationship between the role of the Nurse Educator and the compliance of control of pulmonary tuberculosis patients to the Tuban Medika Mulia Hospital. The method used in this research is correlation analytic method with cross sectional research design. The population in this study involved 66 pulmonary TB patients in the pulmonary polyclinic of Medika Mulia Tuban Hospital, with the determination of the sample using a systematic random sampling method. Data was collected by using a questionnaire using rho sperm test data analysis. From the analysis results obtained data with a significance value of 0.003 (p

Abstract

Stunting in toddlers is a problem for the world. The causes of stunting are very broad, in the sense that it involves very many factors. Stunting in children under five is one of the main health problems with several characteristics, namely: 1) occurring in a wide scope; 2) involves very diverse determinants; 3) is chronic. Thus, based on logic, the approach used to prevent stunting in children under five must also be relevant to these characteristics. In relation to the first and second characteristics, currently stunting prevention efforts in all regions and levels have been carried out intensively, as well as efforts carried out across programs and across sectors. Evidence-based stunting prevention efforts have also been implemented involving educational institutions and research and development institutions. Evidence based practice in stunting prevention has become a must, so that the efforts made have the right direction, so that they can achieve the expected goals. Abstract

Striae Gravidarum can be prevented by giving virgin coconut oil which is pure oil by farmers specifically for the province of North Sulawesi, which is the main product of coconut raw materials containing lauric acid and oleic acid which are effective in maintaining skin elasticity. Sunflower Oil developed without going through genetic engineering from plants contain more linoleic acid than oleic acid. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of giving oil on the incidence of striae gravidarum in pregnant women. Method: analytical research design quasi-experimental approach pre-posttest design with two groups. Samples were all primigravida pregnant women with gestational age of 20-28 weeks as many as 50 samples consisting of 25 respondents were given VCO and 25 respondents were given Sunflower Oil. Bivariate data analysis with t-independent pairet test. The results of this study applying VCO with an average amount of 136.1 ml, there was a difference in the pairet test test(p=0.000) giving sunflower oil before and after applying sunflower oil on average as much as 128 ml there was a difference before and after being given sunflower oil(p= 0.008) The conclusion is there is a difference before and after applying VCO and Sunflower Oil. Keywords: virgin coconut oil (VCO); striae gravidarum; pregnant women
