Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Congklak adaptation game method on the ability to recognize numbers in group A children at TK AL-IKHLAS Montong Agung. This research is quasi-experimental research, with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The populations of this study were all children in group A of TK AL-IKHLAS Montong Agung and the samples were groups A1 and A2 as control and experimental classes. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, instrument validation and observation, while the data analysis technique in this study used the T-test using the SPSS 16.0 application. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the congklak adaptation method has an influence on children's ability to recognize numbers in group A in the experimental and control groups, after being given treatment with a percentage of 76.7%, while the control group with 58.3%. The results of the T-test showed 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the congklak adaptation method has an influence on the children's ability to recognize numbers in group A.

Abstract

Seagrass bed is a true flowering, fruiting, leafy and rooted plant that grows on a muddy, sandy to rocky substrate that lives submerged in shallow and clear sea water, with good water circulation. This study aims to determine the diversity of seagrass species, sdeagrass unioformity, dominace index, seagrass density, and percentage of seagrass cover, ass well as the effect of substrate types on seagrass conditions in the waters of Maitara utara village and Maitara induk village. This research is divided into two observation stations based on the distribution of seagrass,namely station I in Maitara selatan village and station II in Maitara induk village. At each station it is divided into three lines an three quadrants, the distance of 60 meters where on each line the transect line from the coastline to the sea is 60 meters long, while the distance of each quadrant I, II, III with a distance of 20 meters. Measurement of oceanographic factors includes traffic, turbidity, current velocity, temperature water pH and sediment. Furthermore, it was tested by simple linear regression using excel version 2010 to determine the relationship between seagrass and the types of sediment grains. The results of this study indicate that the conditions of seagrass density at stations I and II belong to the scale of dense conditions (125-175) and very dense (> 175). The Diversity Index at both stations is classified as moderate diversity. The seagrass uniformity index at stations I and II is classified as a high level of uniformity, and the dominance index obtained at stations I and II is classified as a low level of dominance. The correlation between substrate grain diameter and seagrass at stations I and II does not have a strong linear relationship, the r (correlation) value is obtained at station I of 0.037 and at station II of -0.145 which means that the seagrass density has a negative correlation with the type of substrate grain

Abstract

Plantation is the number one business that is mostly cultivated by the people in the Tidore Islands City. With its geographical location and tropical climate, Tidore is one of the cities with good plantation business development, one of which is coconut plantations. The potential of coconut is so good that it can be developed to improve the community's economy. But in reality this is not the case, this happens because the existing potential has not been fully utilized by the community. The drying of coconuts into copra carried out by the Gubukusuma community is still conventional, namely by smoking, of course the results are also different from modern drying which is carried out using a drying machine, the coconut drying system into copra carried out using a machine will produce white copra with high quality. which is better than the smoking system which produces black or gray copra. The problem that is often encountered by coconut farmers is the yield of copra which is considered low by copra buyers in the market, departing from the problem of processing coconuts into copra. for the household income of farmers. The urgency of the research that the researcher wants to convey from this research is that the local government, especially the Tidore Islands City Government, should be able to closely monitor the selling price of copra in the market so that there is no price game by copra buyers.

Abstract

The problems faced at SMP Negeri 5 Tidore Kepulauan related to learning mathematics activities in the classroom can be seen that some students do not understand math problems; unable to answer teacher questions, during the learning process; students are not able to respond well to the material being studied; the learning process of mathematics subjects for students is less fun; students find it difficult to master mathematics subject matter; most students are less motivated in participating in mathematics learning activities. In addition, based on the experience of researchers at the school, it is known that during learning activities there are still students who have not been able to express their opinions during learning, some students also seem less concerned about learning assignments. The formulation of this research is (1) Can the application of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning model improve the mathematical problem-solving ability of the students of SMP Negeri 5 Tidore Islands City? (2) How do teachers and students manage learning based on the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning model? Thus, the objectives of this study were to determine: (1) the improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities of students at SMP Negeri 5 Tidore Kepulauan City who were taught the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model; (2) Analyzing the success of teachers and students in implementing learning based on the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model. The type of research conducted is classroom action research (CAR). The sample in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tidore Islands, as many as 24 students. Data retrieval in this study was carried out using observation sheets of teacher activities in managing learning and observations of student activities in learning, tests of mathematical problem-solving abilities. The results of the study show that CTL learning can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities

Abstract

This study has the objective to be achieved, which is to find out the level of Volleyball Game Basic Skills in Volleyball Extracurricular Participants in SMP Negeri 1 Tegalwaru. This research is quantitative descriptive. The method used is a survey with data collection techniques using tests and measurement of basic skills playing volleyball. The population in the study of the basic skill level of volleyball in extracurricular participants in SMP Negeri 1 Tegalwaru was volleyball extracurricular participants in SMPN 1 Tegalwaru in the 2018/2019 school year, amounting to 17 students. Subjects in this study were students who took volleyball extracurricular activities at SMPN 1 Tegalwaru as many as 17 students. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis as outlined in the form of percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion of the results of the basic skills test for volleyball games at SMPN 1 Tegalwaru it is known that for the category of "very good" as many as 1 student at 5.88%; the "good" category as many as 6 students by 35.29%; "medium" category as many as 4 students by 23.53%; "less" category as many as 5 students by 29.41%; and the category of "very lacking" of 1 student at 5.88%. So, it can be concluded that the level of basic volleyball game technical skills among participants who take volleyball extracurricular activities at SMPN 1 Tegalwaru has a "good" category.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to increase student learning independence through a blended learning approach. This research method uses classroom action research approach through two cycles. The research was conducted at SMA IT Albina, Ternate City. The research subjects included 12 students of class XI IPA. Data collection instruments include student learning outcomes tests, learning independence questionnaires, and observation sheets. The results of the research in the first cycle showed that the average observation results obtained 65.97% of students had learning independence. The learning outcomes of students who reach the KKM score are 41.6%. The results of class observations in the second cycle obtained 78,82% of students have learning independence. The learning outcomes of students who reach the KKM score are 83.33%. This research can be concluded that the application of blended learning can increase students' learning independence in the addition and subtraction of matrices, as well as matrix multiplication.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how high the level of motivation of physical education teachers in implementing distance learning in high schools throughout North Cikarang District is during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The method used in this study is a survey method, data collection techniques using a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. The subjects in this study were physical education teachers in high schools throughout the North Cikarang sub-district, totaling 14 teachers. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis as outlined in percentages. The results of this study indicate that the level of motivation of physical education teachers in implementing distance learning is in the categories of "very low" 7%, "low" 14%, "enough" 50%, "good" 21%, and "very good" 7% .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the effectiveness of the Problem Solving and Problem Based Learning models on elementary school students' mathematical critical thinking skills using Meta-analysis. The first step in this research is to determine the problem. The second step is searching for research journal data through Google Scholar; after completing the data search, the researchers obtained 20 appropriate journals. The third step is to analyze the research data to get solid results and conclusions, and the fourth or final step is to report the research results by conveying the essential parts of the research results obtained. The comparison of the Problem Solving learning model showed an average increase of 14.64%, while the Problem Based Learning model was 28.73%. The prerequisite test in this study uses the normality test, homogeneity test, and linear test. A normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk technique shows that the significance value is > 0.05. Pretest homogeneity test showed Sig. of 0.314 > 0.05 while the posttest showed Sig. of 0.676> 0.05. The significance value in the linearity test of the two learning models is > 0.05. ANCOVA test using Univariate shows that the value of Sig. 0.002 means less than 0.05 (0.002 <0.05). The results of the ANCOVA test prove that if f count < f table is 0.003 < 3.69 and the significance value is 0.960 > 0.05, which proves that Ho and Ha are accepted. So, the conclusions can be drawn from the results obtained to prove if there are significant differences. Furthermore, the Effect Size test shows that the Problem Solving and Problem Based Learning models have a relatively great influence on thinking critically in mathematics.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the skill level of Grade VII students of West Karawang Public Junior High School 5 (SMP Negeri 5 Karawang Barat) for the 2021/2022 academic year in performing floor exercises for forwarding roll movement during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive quantitative research using a cross-sectional survey design. The population in this study was all seventh graders at SMP Negeri 5 Karawang Barat which consisted of 11 classes with 440 students. Sample in this study amounted to 81 students using Simple Random Sampling as a sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a forward roll skill test. As well as data analysis in this study using descriptive statistical tests. The results of this study indicate that the level of forwarding rolling skills in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Karawang Barat, there are 1 student (1%) in the very skilled category, 50 students (62%) in the skilled category, 17 students (21%) in the less skilled category, and 13 students (16%) in the very less skilled category. The highest frequency in the skilled category is 50 students with a percentage of 62%

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the implementation of the mathematics learning process carried out by the teacher. The problems encountered are that there are still many obstacles experienced by teachers in learning mathematics. This is evident from the not optimal mathematics learning process carried out by the teacher. This research is a qualitative research that aims to determine the strategies used and applied by teachers in the smooth implementation of mathematics learning at SDN No. 139/III Lempur Mudik Kerinci Regency. The research subject is the teacher of SDN No. 139/III Lempur Mudik is a fourth grade teacher, where the data taken are in the form of observation data, interviews, and documentation. This research is expected to produce the right strategy for teachers in the implementation of mathematics learning while still paying attention to the conditions and readiness of teachers and students
