Abstract

This study aims to explored the students’ obstacle in learning translation, increasing the students’ acticity in Translation learning, enhancing lecturer creativity in handle translation study to applied an approppriate method in teaching translation. The method of this study is qualitative which involved 12 respondents of English Department students Bumi Hijrah Tidore. Data was collected by doing observation and interview. It’s found that there are three important points become obstacles for students in learning translation, namely: 1). Student focus on learning is ignored. 2). Fearlessness in questioning in the class when confused with the material. Thus, when lecturers provide excersices, most of them are not able to finished well. 3). Involved in group activities are also still minimal, both group presentation tasks that take place in class or doing assignment. These obstacles were influenced by personality, Learning Motivation, Students’ Acticity in Learning Translation, and Supporting Media in understanding the translation theory such as still depended on google translation. The conclusion of this study is the students should learn and dare to questioning in a team. The lecturer also needed to adapt the method of teaching to please the learners.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the basis of criticism aimed at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the Island of Morotai Regency which in serving the community is not too professional and also increasingly requires certainty of time, the number of convoluted procedures. In the service of marriage certificate registration at the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Morotai Island Regency prioritizes the management of marriage certificates that are still related to the quality of services provided. The main thing that residents often complain about is the problem of very long service times. This research method is qualitative naturalistic. Public Service Quality, Organizational Structure, Service System. waiting time with waiting time in providing services to the community. There is no computerized system online with related representatives. Determine administrative requirements, Organizational Structure that has not yet determined good conditions. In carrying out their duties, there is an unharmonious relationship between superiors and subordinates. The level of education is good, because everything has enjoyed the world of education

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of problem solving skills of class X students on material derived functions through themethod Inquiry. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Kota Tidore Kepulauan, totaling 31 students. Research carried out with 1-2 cycles. Data retrieval in this study was carried out using a problem solving ability test and an observation sheet of the teacher's ability to manage learning based onmethods inquiry and observing student activities in learning based onmethods inquiry. Based on the results of data analysis in the field, it is necessary to improve the quality of learning by offering a variety of methods. One of the methods used is themethod which is Inquiry very effective in mathematics learning, especially learning materials that require the ability to orient on problems, formulate problems, formulate hypotheses, collect data, test hypothesis, and formulating conclusions because it can improve problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

The condition of mangrove ecosystems in the coastal areas of Daruba Pantai Village is increasing under pressure both physically and ecologically. The still low awareness of the community to maintain the preservation of mangrove ecosystems well as increasing economic needs, triggers a decline in the extent and quality the environment of mangrove forests. The aim to determine the composition of species and structure of mangrove ecosystem communities. This research was conducted in the mangrove ecosystem area of ​​Daruba Pantai Village, Morotai Island Regency in September - October 2019. The data collection technique used was the observation method and field sampling using the transect plot method. Date were analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods for the composition of mangrove species and mangrove community structure analysis using formula according to (Bengen, 2001) including; type density, relative density, frequency, relative frequency, closure, relative closure, and important values. The results showed that the composition of Mangrove species were found many as 9 species consisting of 5 families Rhizohoraceae as many as 5 species, while the family Rubiacea, Sonneratiaceae, Myrsinaceae, Combertaceae each type 1 type. While the results of community structure analysis of the importance and individual densities of the mangrove species found in the research location at all growth rates are still dominated by Rhizophora stylosa species, indicating that this species is able to adaptation to environmental changes and habitat suitability.

Abstract

Industrial era 4.0, is an era of challenges and hopes for the world of education. In this disruptive era the world of education must be able to tidy up and innovate in order to survive and continue to exist in the face of the challenges of the times. The World of Education has great hopes in the era of digitalization in an effort to achieve the achievement of educational goals. This article wants to provide an overview of the learning strategies of flipping class in 4.0 era with all its challenges. Based on the results of research that has been done proven effective calssroom flipping strategy can improve student chemistry learning outcomes. Then how should the learning strategy of flipping class be packaged in this disruptive era?

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the development of educational character by studying the QR Code. The purpose of this research is the students of Postgraduate Education Technology UNJ. Considering this research is a development of character education models, the research method used is research and development (R&D). This study discusses the learning development model of Web-Based Design Model, a development model specifically designed for the development of materials or web-based learning activities. Obtained 18 steps that will provide guidelines for designing web-based learning activities. Based on the consideration of the material experts, the material meets the complete, consistent and clear criteria. This general learning material is very good, which can be interpreted as an appropriate product and is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research on the implementation of the STAD type cooperative learning model is that it can improve learning outcomes in Mathematics operations calculate the addition of mixed fractions to elementary school students in Pulau Morotai Regency. Based on data analysis and discussion, the conclusion that can be drawn from this study is the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes about the addition of mixed fraction operations can be accelerated is not the same as the SD Inpres Sopi elementary school. This was evidenced by an increase in student learning outcomes from the first cycle the value of learning completeness was 35% while in the second cycle the value of mastery learning 90% increased in accordance with KKM (70) which was agreed by the class teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of improving physics learning outcomes by applying the CTL (contextual teaching learning) learning model to the concepts of quantity and units. This type of research is an experimental study with a village pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA of SMA N 8 Tikep totaling 44 students spread over 2 classes, the sample in this study was a portion of a population of 22 students with cluster sampling techniques. Having obtained 2 classes as samples then randomized to determine the experimental class and the control class. Data collection in this research is to use the test. The test is done before and after learning. The results of this study indicate that: (1) in the control class the average pretest value was 54.35 while the posttest mean score of 74.76 was still lower than the experimental class, (2) in the experimental class the average pretest value was 68.43 while the average posttest score of 81.56 is higher than the control class, (3) the average posttest score of the experimental class> control class is 81.56> 74.76 which means the experimental class learning outcomes are higher than control class, in paired t-test, the result obtained is sig.2 tailed at 0,000 <0.05 using the CTL (contextual teaching learning) model on the concept of Quantity and Measurement more effectively

Abstract

Every organization has an obligation to design, organize and improve workplaces, which enables employees to carry out their duties and functions optimally so as to improve superior performance. Pleasant workplace design plays an important role in improving effectiveness and efficiency of performance. With the optimal workplace design, it can grow the motivation for employee and to facilitate the use of productivity in improving performance and productivity. Conversely, workplaces that are not well designed will potentially lead to a decrease in employee performance and productivity. Standards for improving employee performance through workplace structuring design are (1) optimal results, (2) efficiency, (3) satisfaction, and (4) adaptability. The workplace design organization basically refers to 4 principles, namely (1) short distance principles, (2) the principle of all use of space, (3) the principle of the arrangement of workplaces and (4) the principle of the form of work. Through workplace design both are expected to improve the performance and production of employees as an organization.

Abstract

The writer applied descriptive method and basic statisic. The data are collected through instruments those are essay test and multiple choice. Essay test is about matching the synonym of the particles and translating the particles into Indonesian language. The data were analyzed and tabulated into rating scale and qualification. Based on the data, the students’ mastery in using particles can be categorized as poor score. This is proven by students’ mean score is 41.77% this is found out that only 3 respondents or 8.57% of them obtained good score 4 resoondents or 11.42% of them obtained sufficient score 10 respondents or 28.57% of them obtained poor score and 18 respondents or 51.42% obtained very poor score. Overall, the second semester students of English study program involved in this research could not use particles correctly
