Abstract

Human resources (HR) play an important role in the success of an organization, including in the government sector such as the Sinjai Religious Court. Optimal employee performance reflects the effectiveness of the organization and is the main indicator of quality public service. This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on employee performance, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method, and sampling was carried out using a saturated sampling technique, involving the entire population of 49 respondents. The data analysis technique used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) through SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the analysis showed that transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment with a P-Value of 0.043 <0.05. This finding indicates that the characteristics of transformational leaders such as inspiration, individual attention, and intellectual stimulation can increase employee commitment. However, interviews with employees indicated that performance was more determined by compliance with work procedures and professionalism, rather than direct direction from the leader. This shows that the influence of leadership on performance is not proven to be significant directly, but has more impact through increasing organizational commitment. Transformational leadership can indirectly strengthen employee performance through increased organizational commitment, especially in institutions that have formal and standard work systems.

This is evidenced by the acceptance of H0 and the rejection of H2, as the significance value is P = 0.185 > 0.05. There is a significant influence of the level of employee welfare on work productivity. This is evidenced by the rejection of H0 and the acceptance of H3, as the significance value is P = 0.000 < 0.05. This means that the independent variables leadership, work environment, and employee welfare can predict the dependent variable, employee work productivity, by 82.7%. Abstract

The rapid advancements in the industrial revolution 4.0 have reshaped business paradigms, prompting organizations to undergo transformative changes to maintain competitiveness. One critical factor for sustaining competitive advantage is innovation, which is closely tied to the effective utilization of knowledge resources, particularly tacit knowledge. Tacit knowledge, derived from individual experiences, is considered a vital asset due to its unique and non-replicable characteristics. This study aims to investigate the role of tacit knowledge sharing in enhancing employee innovation across various industrial sectors. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology, this research synthesizes findings from numerous studies published between 2019 and 2024 to explore the relationship between tacit knowledge sharing and employee innovation. The review addresses three primary questions: the development of research in this field, implementation strategies in specific industries, and factors influencing the effectiveness of tacit knowledge sharing. Results reveal that tacit knowledge sharing significantly boosts employee innovation through improved creativity and problem-solving capabilities. However, its effectiveness depends on factors such as organizational culture, employee motivation, and interaction opportunities. Practical recommendations are provided to optimize knowledge-sharing processes, ultimately supporting organizational innovation and competitiveness in an era of rapid technological change.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed marketing communication patterns, particularly in the local fashion industry. This study aims to analyze the role of micro-influencers as key opinion leaders (KOL) in increasing Jiniso’s brand awareness, using the Two Step Flow Theory as its theoretical foundation. This theory posits that brand information is more effectively conveyed to the public through trusted KOLs. The research hypothesizes that collaboration with micro-influencers can foster stronger audience engagement and trust compared to conventional advertising. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with an interpretive paradigm. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and non-participant observation of Jiniso’s micro-influencer content on TikTok. Informants were selected by purposive sampling, involving micro-influencers, Jiniso’s marketing team, and digital marketing experts. The results show that micro-influencers build audience trust and emotional closeness through authentic, responsive, and consistent content. Soft-selling strategies, personal storytelling, hashtags, and community challenges were proven to increase brand exposure, audience engagement, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM). These findings align with the Two Step Flow Theory and reinforce previous research on the effectiveness of KOLs in digital communication. In conclusion, the collaboration between Jiniso and micro-influencers successfully creates strong social and emotional bonds, significantly enhancing brand awareness among Generation Z. This study highlights the importance of collaborative communication strategies and adaptive influencer selection in digital marketing communication practices.

Abstract

This study explores the development of a village financial governance model in Indonesia, with a specific focus on Maitara Tengah Village, Tidore Islands City. It addresses four critical issues commonly encountered in village financial management: lack of transparency, weak accountability, limited community participation, and inadequate financial planning and reporting capacity. Employing a qualitative methodology, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and document analysis conducted between 2022 and 2024. The findings reveal that the effective use of village funds is constrained by limited administrative capacity, poor regulatory enforcement, and largely symbolic participatory mechanisms. To address these challenges, the research proposes a context-sensitive governance model that integrates principles of good governance, collaborative planning, and adaptive institutional design. The model aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and participatory engagement while accommodating the unique socio-cultural and geographic characteristics of remote and island communities. This study contributes to the broader discourse on village autonomy and decentralized rural development by offering a scalable and inclusive governance framework suited to the Indonesian context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the key determinant factors influencing poverty and inequality, as well as to examine their implications for village development planning. The research adopts a mixed-method approach by integrating robust regression-based quantitative analysis with qualitative literature studies derived from secondary sources. The findings identify five factors that significantly affect inequality: economic growth, the open unemployment rate, the human development index (HDI), the proportion of informal agricultural workers, and fiscal transfers from the central government to regional administrations. Furthermore, six determinant factors are found to influence poverty: economic growth, inequality, the open unemployment rate, the human development index, the proportion of informal agricultural workers, and fiscal transfers from the central government to local governments. As a key implication, the study emphasizes the need to prioritize the allocation of village funds toward programs that directly address the root causes of poverty and inequality. This strategic focus is essential to ensure that rural development planning contributes effectively to social equity and sustainable economic growth at the village level.

Abstract

Bajawa Café, which carries the theme of an ethnic modern coffee shop, is a café that highlights the culture of NTT (East Nusa Tenggara) and introduces it to urban communities in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi). The café’s ambiance is traditional, with a strong Flores cultural nuance. This study aims to measure the influence of customer experience and live music event promotion on consumer loyalty at Bajawa Flores Café as an ethnic brand. The literature review of this research refers to the Elaboration Likelihood Theory (ELT). A sociopsychological research tradition is employed in this study. This research uses a descriptive approach with quantitative methods. The basic assumption of ELT is the study of persuasion, as it predicts when and how a person may or may not change their opinion (be persuaded) by a message or argument they receive. This study adopts a positivist paradigm to describe and explain social life, events, and human behavior. The research was conducted by visiting Bajawa Café to observe firsthand the cultural elements embedded in its exterior and interior, such as symbols, images, merchandise, entertainment offerings, and other aspects discovered during the visit. Questionnaires were distributed as primary data sources. Secondary data for this research included literature studies from books, scientific journals, online news articles, and verified internet sources. This study is expected to contribute to the development of marketing communication strategies that blend modern and traditional themes by measuring the influence of customer experience and live music event promotion on consumer loyalty at Bajawa Flores Café as an ethnic brand.
