Abstract

This research aims to analyze the challenges faced in efforts to eradicate poverty through the implementation of social work intervention programs. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the concept of social work intervention at the micro, mezzo and macro levels makes a significant contribution to poverty alleviation efforts. Social workers at the micro level are able to form deep partnerships with clients, develop personalized intervention plans, and provide individualized support, which has an impact on improving individual and family well-being. At the mezzo level, collaboration in the development of community welfare programs and resource mobilization results in significant change on a broader scale. At the macro level, a focus on structural transformation and system improvement has a positive impact on overall social impact. The integration of these strategies forms a robust support network that empowers individuals and drives sustainable social change. The results of this research confirm that a holistic approach in Social Work Intervention has an important role in creating a more just, inclusive and just society in overcoming poverty.

Abstract

Services to the community play a very vital role in community development, and SAMSAT as a form of public service, including SAMSAT Palangka Raya City, has an important role in providing services to taxpayers. This research proposes the hypothesis that Quality of Service to the Public has the potential to increase SAMSAT's competitive advantage. The research method used is quantitative by applying SEM PLS analysis techniques. The research results show that the quality of service to the public has a significant influence on the competitive advantage of SAMSAT Palangka Raya City. Data analysis yielded a very low P value (0.000), indicating a high level of statistical significance. These findings strengthen the argument that improving the quality of public services in SAMSAT can be considered a crucial strategy to maintain and improve competitive position in the market.

Abstract

Personalization as a digital marketing communication strategy provides great benefits not only for marketers but also customers. Personalization strategies require efforts to collect and process various types of data from the consumers by marketers. Marketers as user and those who take advantage of technological developments in digital marketing have little concern about ethical and moral considerations in utilizing technology for the strategies used. On the other hand, it must be recognized that consumers themselves, as users and those who take advantage of technological developments in the digital marketing, don’t show behavior that prioritizes ethical considerations. This paper aims to make a theoretical review about ethical issues in personalization and consumer disclosure. This theoretical review was carried out through a literature study. Ethical consideration of personalization and consumer disclosure in marketing ethics will involve both positive ethics and normative ethics. The achievement of goals and benefits by both marketers and customers through various personalization strategies and consumer disclosure must be ethically justified. Normative ethics provide an acceptable rational basis for ethical justification, and positive ethics provide support for understanding empirically any ethically problematic decisions, actions and marketing strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of inclusive and fair human resource management (HR) practices in realizing diversity and equality in the workplace. The research method used was a descriptive approach with sampling using total population techniques or saturated samples of 105 BUMD employees in the port services sector in East Java. Data was collected using the Diversity Management Climate Scale (DMCS) and the Workplace Inclusion Scale (WIS), and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The research results show the company's commitment to increasing inclusion and fairness in the workplace, but there are still challenges in achieving optimal levels of employee satisfaction. The steps that have been taken are positive steps, but require in-depth evaluation of existing policies and procedures, as well as active employee participation in the improvement process. Through a holistic and sustainable approach, port services BUMD companies in East Java can create a more inclusive and equitable work environment, which will have a positive impact on the company's overall performance and productivity.

Abstract

This research addresses the complexities of digital content analysis, focusing on toxicity, sentiment, and social network dynamics, employing the CRISP-DM (Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining) as the overarching framework. The research problem centers on understanding the prevalence of toxicity, discerning sentiment nuances, and unraveling viewer interactions within social networks. Comprehensive toxicity analysis was conducted, revealing specific scores for toxicity attributes and a prevalence of positive sentiment (72.5%). Sentiment classification utilizing the k-NN algorithm achieved exceptional accuracy (98.06%), showcasing its efficacy in sentiment discernment. Social network dynamics were examined, uncovering key metrics such as Diameter (3), Density (0.002140), Reciprocity (0.000000), Centralization (0.393200), and Modularity (0.552200), shedding light on network structures and interactions. Findings underscore the need for nuanced content moderation strategies and highlight the importance of fostering positive interactions in digital spaces. Recommendations include implementing targeted moderation policies, leveraging sentiment analysis for audience engagement, and fostering community-building initiatives to promote healthier online environments.

Abstract

This research is based on the report of budget absorption realization at PT PLN UIP SBU not being absorbed according to the plan. The aim of this study is to identify the main causes of suboptimal budget absorption and to formulate strategies to optimize budget absorption at PT PLN UIP SBU in the future. Analysis of the potential factors causing the failure to achieve the budget absorption target is conducted through discussions and interviews, followed by Likert scale interval analysis of respondent perceptions to determine the main causes of the failure to achieve the budget absorption target. Subsequently, the formulation of the selected strategy uses analysis with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Based on the research results, the first priority alternative is the standardization of the completeness of budget proposal documents (detailed scope of work, timeline, Bill of Quantities along with references, field survey documentation if needed, and others). The second priority is holding regular periodic meetings with PLN Headquarters regarding budget needs and the bidding process at PLN Headquarters. The third priority is tightening monitoring and risk management evaluation for each project, followed by the fourth priority, which is holding regular meetings on the general plan for procurement unit auctions.

Abstract

As a sector that can increase production capacity, MSEs have a significant impact on economic and social progress. However, MSEs still face various obstacles, one of which is manual and traditional financial management. Lack of understanding and knowledge in financial management is the main cause. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach, this study highlights the development of self-efficacy beliefs and perceived behavioral control, strengthening the relationship between beliefs, attitudes, intentions, and behaviors of MSE actors. The purpose of this study is to examine the financial management behavior of MSEs in Blitar. The method applied is descriptive quantitative. The population in focus is MSEs in Blitar, with a total of 2569, while the sample taken is 135 business actors. The data analysis method used includes descriptive analysis and inferential statistics, with the application of the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that Financial Attitude, Financial Literacy and Financial Knowledge do not affect the Behavioral Intention of business actors. The behavioral intention of business actors is still relatively low in determining financial management attitudes because understanding and skills in management are also still low. This is because they focus more on marketing and sales.
