Counter-terrorism efforts in Indonesia face significant challenges, including suspect resistance during investigations and resource limitations. This study analyzes the discretionary practices of Densus 88 AT Polri, particularly through humanistic approaches such as reuniting suspects with their families, granting communication access, and respecting spiritual needs. The findings show that humanistic discretion effectively enhances suspect cooperation, streamlines evidence collection, and strengthens legal legitimacy. This approach also upholds principles of justice and human rights. However, the implementation of discretion requires strict boundaries to ensure accountability and prevent abuse. A holistic strategy integrating repressive measures with humanistic approaches has proven successful not only in law enforcement but also in supporting the social reintegration of former terrorism convicts. This study recommends strengthening regulatory frameworks for discretionary practices to ensure effectiveness and alignment with human rights principles.

Data collection relied on qualitative interviews to gain insights from respondents about their experiences and perceptions. The service improvements focused on upgrading the facilities, such as cleanliness, parking, and seating, to attract more customers. Additionally, digital marketing strategies using platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, and Google Maps were implemented to improve visibility and competitiveness. Service enhancements included staff training on customer etiquette and hygiene practices, ensuring better customer interactions. The results demonstrated an increase in customer traffic, especially from institutions, contributing to higher revenue and job creation in the local community. However, challenges such as limited space remained. To ensure sustainable growth, it is essential to optimize digital marketing, expand facilities, diversify services, and regularly evaluate business performance.

This study examined the role of investment literacy in reducing cognitive biases in investment decisions, particularly availability bias, overconfidence bias, and herding bias. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected from 392 stock investors in Indonesia through surveys. The study employed Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) to assess the moderating effect of gender on the relationship between investment literacy and cognitive biases. The findings indicated that higher investment literacy significantly reduced all three biases, enabling investors to process information more objectively, assess their abilities more realistically, and make independent decisions. However, the moderating effect of gender was only significant in the relationship between investment literacy and overconfidence bias, while it had no significant impact on availability bias and herding bias. These results underscore the importance of investment literacy in minimizing irrational decision-making. The findings have practical implications for investors in improving their financial decision-making, for policymakers in designing effective financial education programs, and for academics in further developing behavioral finance research.

This study aims to examine the influence of price perception and product quality on repurchase decisions, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable, at the Pizza Hut branch in Palangka Raya. The subjects of this research are customers who have previously visited and made purchases at the aforementioned branch. A total of 112 respondents were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted by directly distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The analytical method employed is Partial Least Squares (PLS), which is used to test and evaluate the relationships among variables within the model. The findings indicate that price perception has a significant effect on repurchase decisions. However, price perception does not have a significant impact on customer satisfaction. This suggests that price is not always the primary determinant of customer satisfaction levels. Other factors, such as product quality, perceived value, brand reputation, customer experience, economic conditions, market competition, technological changes, and perceived product value, may also influence consumer purchasing decisions. On the other hand, product quality is found to have a significant influence on both customer satisfaction and repurchase decisions. These findings underscore the importance for companies to consistently maintain and improve product quality in order to sustain customer loyalty

The purpose of this study is to contribute to the field of strategic management by examining the influence of entrepreneurial management on the performance of MSMEs, mediated by competitive advantage. Entrepreneurial management involves creative efforts and a willingness to take calculated risks to support the success of programs that improve business competitiveness. Although this topic is highly relevant, research integrating entrepreneurial management and competitive advantage as mediating variables in the context of MSME performance remains limited. This gap may hinder understanding of how entrepreneurial strategies affect business outcomes and the mechanisms involved. In this study, 89 MSME actors in Sidoarjo were selected as respondents using the Cluster Sampling technique to ensure broad regional representation. Cluster sampling is a method of taking samples by dividing the population into several groups or clusters. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS 4 statistical software for robust results. Findings reveal that entrepreneurial management has a significant positive impact on MSME performance and strengthens competitive advantage. However, competitive advantage does not directly influence performance, making entrepreneurial management the primary driver of MSMEs success in competitive environments. These results highlight the importance of strengthening managerial capabilities through innovation, strategic planning, and responsive decision-making. The study provides a foundation for government and institutions to design targeted training and mentoring programs. It also enriches the strategic management literature on MSMEs and offers empirical insights relevant to policy formulation and the development of empowerment initiatives, particularly in Sidoarjo Regency

This study investigates the influence of infrastructure on economic growth in Indonesia from 2016 to 2022, offering a novel contribution by simultaneously analyzing multiple infrastructure dimensions road length, electricity distribution, clean water availability, and the number of educational institutions across all 34 provinces over seven years. The research addresses the ongoing issue of regional economic disparities despite sustained infrastructure investments. Using a quantitative approach, the study employs secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and applies panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) as the most suitable estimation method based on model selection criteria. The variables analyzed include road length (Km), electricity distributed (GWh), clean water distribution (L/sec), and the number of senior high schools (units), with Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current market prices as the dependent variable. The empirical results indicate that electricity distribution, clean water access, and the number of senior high schools have a significant positive effect on GRDP, highlighting their role in enhancing productivity and economic performance. Conversely, road length exhibits a significant negative effect, suggesting a tested reverse hypothesis: that road expansion, in some regions, may not translate into economic gains due to inefficiencies in allocation or lack of alignment with local economic needs. These findings underscore the importance of strategic, need-based infrastructure planning to foster equitable and sustainable economic growth in Indonesia
