Abstract

The research is motivated by the limited capacity of Islamic religious education (PAI) instructors in the Ministry of Religion of Cianjur Regency to conduct Classroom Action Research. Therefore, the researcher attempts to enhance the skills of the teachers of the district. This study employs a qualitative research methodology with action research methods along with mentoring techniques. The data collected are using a variety of methods, such as observation techniques, interviews, and portfolios. Based on the findings and analysis, the Islamic religious education teachers’ ability in conducting action research increased. This is demonstrated by the following. 1) The percentage of PAI teachers engaged in CAR activities which was initially 55%, has improved to 88% after the last cycle. It requires that coaching and mentoring activities for Islamic Religion education teachers have a positive effect on the teacher's ability to carry out PTK.

Abstract

Mathematical instruction at MTsN 5 continues to employ traditional methods, in which the dominant teacher actively imparts knowledge via the lecture method. Students are not actively engaged, they listen, write, and take notes, so that learning mathematics becomes monotonous and makes them difficult to comprehend the material. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted using a mathematically realistic approach. How are the activities and learning outcomes using a realistic mathematics approach? This research method employs classroom action research which consists of a series of stages beginning with planning, action, observation, and reflection. Observation guidelines, field notes, interview sheets, final evaluation, and student worksheets were utilized for data collection. The data were analyzed and reflected using qualitative methods, whereas numerical data were processed using quantitative methods. Students who were initially less enthusiastic and less active were able to alter their attitude patterns and become enthusiastic, active, and full of confidence. The findings can be seen from student learning activities, particularly in discussions that are quite good. There is cooperation, exchanging ideas, explaining to each other (peer tutors), mutual support and task sharing in groups, responsibility in problem-solving, and critical thinking. They are not awkward to argue with group members or with other groups as well. To sum up, student achievement in learning Mathematics using a realistic mathematics approach has increased significantly in each cycle.

Abstract

This study seeks to describe the literacy curriculum in MAN 1 Bogor as a solution dealing with the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). AKM is one of the primary instruments of the National Assessment that serves as a replacement for the National Examination and provides data for mapping and evaluating the education system.  AKM is administered to pupils at all levels of education, including grade 4 elementary school, grade 8 junior high school, and grade 11 high school / vocational school with varying levels and question counts.  The results of AKM can depict the actual state of students' mastery of reading and numeracy literacy skills.  This form of research is qualitative and descriptive. The participants are pupils enrolled in AKM MAN 1 Bogor, West Java, for the 2021/2022 academic year.  Interviews and questionnaires were used to collect information for this study. 81% of the respondents at MAN 1 Bogor demonstrated the need for an adult literacy program. Three students with varying levels of ability were also interviewed to strengthen the research findings

Abstract

The lack of student motivation to learn in the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic can be seen from students' passivity when participating in virtual learning and the reduction in student assignments at school. This research aims to increase students' learning motivation through hypnotherapy methods. The research subjects were 32 students. Data collection used interview techniques, observation and documentation studies with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of this research indicate an increase in student learning motivation by 65%. The research results show that the hypnotherapy method can increase students' learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, learning weaknesses during the pandemic can be corrected by using hypnotherapy, to increase students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Historical comprehension needs to be possessed by everyone from an early age in order to know and understand the meaning of past events, without this understanding skill, historical learning loses its spirit. History can be used as a basis for attitudes in facing present reality and determining the future. Based on the results of a pre-survey conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Ciamis for the 2023/2024 academic year, the ability to understand history in class XII IPS 1 is quite low. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the ability to understand the history of man 2 Ciamis students in material from the cold war using a discovery learning model. Based on the results of cycle 1 (one) and cycle 2 (two) in the field of attitude, there was an increase from cycle 1 (one) to cycle 2 (two) by 79%. Meanwhile, in the value of knowledge from cycle 1 (one) to cycle 2 (two) there was an increase of 44%. Therefore, students in studying history must understand more deeply the material studied. The benefits that can be drawn from this paper will make it easier for students to study various historical events more meaningfully so that the saying "learning history can make people wiser and better" is not just a mere speech

Abstract

Intelligence and personality are gifts from Allah that share both similarities and differences, viewed from the perspective of Islamic Education Psychology. This research aims to explore the distinctions between the two. It is a systematic review conducted with a qualitative approach, drawing materials from various sources such as books, theses, journals, and reputable electronic resources. The findings reveal that there are commonalities and disparities between intelligence and personality according to Islamic Education Psychology. The similarities can be observed in the fundamental meanings of both terms and the aspects associated with them. In terms of their definitions, both have the root word 'aqal', which means acquiring knowledge for intelligence, while for personality, it serves as the foundation for behavior. As for their aspects, the difference lies in the fact that intellectual intelligence is utilized to develop one's intellect, while in personality, intellectuality determines behavioral patterns. Spiritual intelligence is employed to cultivate norms or values within oneself, whereas personality encompasses a person's inclination towards specific norms or values.

Abstract

This article aims to describe that religious moderation is a preventive measure against religious radicalism. This research is a type of library study. The data collected in this research is qualitative data. The results of this research indicate that the city of Bandung needs a comprehensive concept of religious moderation to overcome the problem of religious radicalism through the concept of moderation. The threat of radicalism should not be considered normal, so it is very important to instill and demonstrate religious moderation to prevent the influence of radicalism. Tolerance is a concept that can reduce religious radicalism. The essence of the concept of tolerance is to provide space for other people to express their beliefs, convey their thoughts, voice their ideas and opinions even if they differ from other people opinions.

Abstract

Kurangnya edukasi pengelolaan sampah menyebabkan sebagian besar sampah berakhir di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA). Pengolahan sampah perlu dilakukan untuk menjaga kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan. Pengetahuan dalam pengolahan sampah perlu ditingkatkan agar masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan hasil pengolahan sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelatihan Eco Enzyme sebagai alternatif pengolahan sampah organik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara, serta analisis data yang digunakan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pelatihan Eco Enzyme di Bank Sampah Induk Ciamis terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Perencanaan tersebut dimulai dari perencanaan waktu, tempat, metode, media pembelajaran dan dana. Ada tiga sesi pembelajaran dalam pelaksanaannya yaitu persiapan alat dan bahan, sosialisasi tentang Eco enzim, dan praktek pembuatan Eco enzim. Tahap akhir pelatihan adalah evaluasi, dimana pada tahap ini Bank Sampah Induk Ciamis memperhatikan hasil pelatihan berupa luaran pelatihan, luaran pelatihan dan monitoring (observasi) terhadap peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah selain memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis melalui pelatihan Eco Enzyme, juga membantu membangun kesadaran lingkungan akan pentingnya mengurangi dampak negatif sampah organik terhadap ekosistem.

Abstract

Menyikapi perubahan yang terjadi dengan cepat merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan oleh sebuah institusi pendidikan agar tetap eksis dan mampu beradaptasi dengan perubahan di segala bidang di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen dan strategi kepala sekolah Islam SD dalam melakukan perubahan yang berdampak pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan di era disrupsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Kepala Sekolah SD Islam Al Falah Cirebon menjadi sampel utama dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa perubahan kepemimpinan yang dilakukan oleh kepala Sekolah Dasar Islam dalam mengembangkan dan melakukan perubahan kreatif dan inovatif di era disrupsi dengan tetap mempertahankan prinsip atau nilai-nilai Islam yang berimplikasi pada mutu pendidikan, manajemen kepemimpinan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah tidak hanya berdampak pada sekolah itu sendiri, namun juga berdampak pada siswa sebagai output pendidikan dari suatu lembaga. Baik dari segi karakter, pengetahuan, agama dan kecintaan terhadap Al-Qur'an yang dapat menumbuhkan kebaikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan perubahan yang dilakukan oleh kepala Sekolah SD Islam Al Falah di kota Cirebon dalam menghadapi era disrupsi ini berjalan dengan baik dengan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang sangat baik. Teknologi informasi membantu memudahkan segala aktivitas manusia, pencarian informasi, penyampaian informasi dan literasi tentang penambahan pengetahuan dalam pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, sehingga guru dapat berkreasi dan mengembangkan pembelajaran dan juga peserta didik dapat belajar dengan memanfaatkan sumber belajar secara optimal.

Abstract

The primary objective of this scientific inquiry is to thoroughly investigate and expound upon the practical application and implementation of linear function equations within the domain of economic mathematics. The central focus lies in dissecting the intricate modeling of market equilibrium prices, with a specific emphasis on the assessment of consumer and producer surpluses associated with essential commodities, such as rice. The core methodology of this study involves an in-depth literature review, which serves as the backbone for understanding the nuances of market equilibrium price models and the nuanced application of linear equations within economic mathematics. The economic and business disciplines are often considered semi-precise sciences, demanding a nuanced blend of qualitative and quantitative analyses to achieve a comprehensive understanding of their multifaceted dynamics. In this context, quantitative analysis in economics and business invariably necessitates the utilization of mathematics as an indispensable tool. Hence, this study consciously adopts a quantitative research approach, a methodological process rooted in the systematic acquisition of knowledge using numerical data as a tool to dissect and analyze crucial information relevant to the subject matter. Delving into the intricacies of supply and demand laws through the lens of linear functions, the study ultimately concludes that the adoption of mathematical models grounded in linear functions holds the potential to effectively determine the demand and supply functions, especially concerning staple commodities like rice. Moreover, it proves instrumental in identifying and comprehending market equilibrium, furnishing invaluable insights that can significantly contribute to a nuanced understanding and effective management of economic phenomena. In essence, this research aims not only to contribute to the theoretical discourse in economic mathematics but also to provide practical insights that can inform decision-making processes within the realms of economics and business.
