Abstract

Screen printing business is one of the businesses that can apply the creative economy based on Indonesian language and literature. Screen printing products with unique word processing designs have the potential to attract consumer interest and can be used as a means to socialize the values ??of language and literature in them. Especially by adding designs containing local wisdom to the screen printing products. The purpose of this service activity is to help one of the screen printing SMEs (Partners) overcome obstacles in their business. The implementation method used is the lecture method with a participatory learning approach. This activity begins with providing an understanding to Partners about the creative industry based on Indonesian Language and Literature. Followed by discussions with partners to develop a screen printing product with a word processing design that emphasizes Jember local wisdom along with an effective marketing strategy through online media. In addition, it also introduces PSAK EMKM as a guide for Partners in preparing their business financial reports.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the developing countries where economic growth in Indonesia is growing rapidly both materially and non-materially, this need can be in the form of procurement of goods / services. The challenge faced by micro, small and medium agro-industry players (MSMEs) is to maintain growth in local and global markets. With the Covid-19 pandemic this has also affected trade in Indonesia, namely the shifting behavior of trading patterns has changed, which was originally carried out directly (offline), now it is required to be indirect (online) so that the business continues. In realizing the success of achieving the vision in the economic sector at a broader level with the development of technology, especially in the procurement of goods / services quickly, precisely, transparently and efficiently in reaching customers. In Presidential Regulation No. 54 of 2010 concerning Government Procurement of Goods / Services, it is intended to facilitate MSMEs in carrying out marketing of goods / services through the E-Purchasing mechanism with the E-catalog system, to support government procurement in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT) to be aligned. with the changing times with the aim of making the organization more responsive, transparent and accessible so that checks and balances occur. This e-catalog is the government's way of encouraging MSMEs to rise again in the era of adapting to new habits or new normal to overcome the impact of decreased turnover in order to strengthen and empower MSMEs.

Abstract

Moringa oleifera is the one of familiar plants in Harjomulyo Village. The one factor of the number moringa plants in Harjomulyo Village because it’s too easy to grow in tropical climates, have high rainfall and are resistant to dry seasons. The problem of Harjomulyo Village is a lack of knowledge related to nutritional value and high economic value related to moringa plants which are widely available in Harjomulyo Village. The aim of this service is to educate the Moringa plant into processed nutritious food that has high economic value for the people of Harjomulyo Village. In solving the problem, it is carried out by extension methods and discussions about the benefits of moringa plants for health and fulfillment nutrition for family, technical counseling on the process of moringa sticks, packaging of moringa sticks, and business and marketing analysis of moringa sticks.

Abstract

The current pandemic condition raises the need to always maintain health and body immunity to be of utmost priority. Herbal medicine as a form of traditional medicine plays an important role in the treatment of population in developing countries, especially Indonesia. The majority of traditional herbal medicine businesses are carried out by home-based business groups, such as traditional herbal medicine businesses carried out by groups of women in Dasa Wisma Aster Dahlia who are domiciled at Tegalbesar Village, Kaliwates District, Jember Regency, produced among others: Jamu Temulawak, Jamu Kunci Sirih, Jamu Kunyit Asem and Jamu Beras Kencur, the herbal medicine which is produced is made from “empon empon” as the base ingredient which is quite abundant in Jember Regency. Herbal medicine business has a very good potential to be developed, because the market demand is very high so that if it is pursued more seriously, it can be used to support the economy of Dama's members. Team acts as: (1) Presenters of socialization, initiator and signing of the MOU document between the two parties, (2) Trainer or assistant for production, monitoring and evaluation (monev) ) post production, packaging and labeling of the final product. Delivering material in the form of lectures, discussions and questions and answers, practice and supervision, continuous monitoring and evaluation to achieve self-sufficiency in production with good product quality. Dama’s members as a socialization participant, also acts as a training participant and mentors the production, marketing, packaging and labeling of the final product.

Abstract

Branch of Muhammadiyah Tegalboto Kidul is a forum for Muhammadiyah da'wah activities within the scope of the village level. Muhammadiyah's space for movement is not only in religious activities, but in social, economic and other fields. The activity program of the Muhammadiyah branch of Tegal Boto Kidul which has been running so far is only in the routine study of recitation and social movements such as compensation for the needy. Activities related to economic development in branch members in particular and the surrounding community have generally not been carried out much. The purpose of this community service is to provide education to the community as a solution to limited land owned but still able to carry out fish farming and vegetable and fruit farming activities. This service aims to optimize the narrow land with a fish farming system in small media, does not require large areas, is cheap, is easily available media and technology that can be carried out by all groups of society at large. This service is expected to be a solution to the problem of limited land for fish cultivation, especially in cities, the problem of decreasing the availability of aquaculture and the problem of the need for fish animal protein in the community. The implementation of this community activity has been carried out during pandemic Covid-19 in Tegalboto Village, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency, including counseling, education and training on “budidakmber”, measuring the quality of cultivated water, measuring the weight of catfish.

Abstract

Housewives have an important role to play in supporting government programs in preventing the spread of COVID-19 at the household level. Community service activities aim to provide understanding to partners so that they have knowledge and concern about preventing the spread of COVID-19 through the application of the 5M health protocol, increasing creativity in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through education on how to make hand sanitizers from natural ingredients of betel leaf (Piper betle Linn) which are mostly found in Sukorejo Village. The method used in this activity is counseling by providing material through lectures and distributing hand sanitizer finished products. The implementation of this service activity in the form of dissemination of the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 involves active participation from partners starting from the activity planning process, preparation of activity schedules to education on how to make and distribute hand sanitizers. This activity generated ideas for partners who are mostly housewives to empower themselves in supporting government programs to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by practicing how to make natural hand sanitizers from betel leaf. Thus, the expected output from this activity is an increase in IRT knowledge in preventing the spread of COVID-19, how to manufacture, packaging hand sanitizers, and participants to obtain sample products which can increase interest in producing similar products and commitment to implementing health protocols in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Abstract

Administratively, Pancoran Village is led by a Village Head who leads 12 section heads, consisting of 1 secretary, 7 heads of affairs, and 4 hamlet heads. Each of these section heads is assisted by other village officials to carry out their duties in community service. In carrying out its obligations, especially those related to village administration and licensing, ideally village officials have competence in the computer sector. However, from the village apparatus report, the village apparatus who mastered basic computer material, in this case was Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel), only one person was not optimal.

Abstract

Kenkō is a home industry that produces organic almond milk. This business carries the theme of a healthy lifestyle and has a vision to participate in preserving the environment and nature. However, Kenkō still uses single-use plastic packaging to package its products. This is considered contradictory by its customers. In addition, business administration data which includes recording of production costs, turnover, sales transactions, and financial reports are still using notebooks. Therefore, this business has difficulty in making financial statements. This activity seeks and implements solutions to the partner's problems. The methods used in this activity include, among others, socialization, focus group discussions, providing packaging assistance and business management training. The packaging was replaced with glass bottles because it was considered more suitable for reuse and safe from harmful chemicals such as BPA. This activity also provides training on business administration data management using technology, namely MS Excel because it is considered capable of making financial reports easier. The results of this activity include the creation of new packaging in the form of BPA-free glass bottles and a new label design for the Kenkō home industry as well as the implementation of MS. Excel training activities to assist and simplify business administration management, as well as indirectly support the healthy lifestyle movement. and participate in preserving the environment and the natural surroundings. The follow-up activity planned for this partner is digital marketing and bringing their products to a digital platform, namely e-commerce.

Abstract

Currently, technology is a basic requirement if a business wants to develop. Technology is no longer just a substitute for a business. Without technological support, a business will find it difficult to develop and generate profits. Not only in business processes, the promotion or marketing of business also requires technology. In this case, social media is a technology-based sharing platform that can help MSME players market their products. one of them is this service partner, UMKM Bali Daily Trip & Tour, which markets tour tour products. Products marketed are mainly the Nusa Penida Day Tour, which is a day tour in Nusa Penida. The development and improvement of a Bali Daily Trip & Tour UMKM business is very dependent on the use of existing technology, especially promotion using social media. UMKM actors must be able to take advantage of social media as a gathering place for their potential customers. One of the popular social media is Instagram. Instagram is currently an efficient promotional tool to get consumers, especially the youth market, who like holidays with tourist destinations in Bali. This community service aims to provide counseling on the use of social media as a media for promotion of tour packages for MSMEs Bali Daily Trip & Tour in Banjar Puseh, Batubulan Kangin, Gianyar Regency, Bali. Based on the results of the service activities that have been carried out, the participants have been able to understand the Insight feature which functions to determine the effectiveness of posted content and partners have also been able to determine a good posting schedule so that it can streamline the marketing process through social media.

Abstract

This paper outlines the formulation of strategies for small, Usaha kecil mikro dan menengah (UMKM) in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic in Metro City, where very tight business competition and declining public income as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic forced entrepreneurs to apply the best strategic management to deal with current economic downturn. The target of the service activity is MSME Metro actors who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, then UMKM actors are asked to fill out pre-test and post-test, then the data is processed, so as to produce data in the form of a description of the explanation of internal environmental studies in increasing the capacity of Metro City UMKM actors in improving business opportunities during the pandemic. The author describes the analysis of strategies that can be divided into 2, namely the analysis of internal factors and analysis of external factors. Internal factor analysis will discuss further the strengths and weaknesses of the business and external factor analysis will discuss opportunities and threats that can occur in the company. Internal and external factors of strategic management are usually acronymized as SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threath). to support efforts to increase income during the pandemic through internal environmental scanning efforts. Although this commitment is informal and has not yet formed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
