Abstract

Law enforcement in inclusive schools includes implementing regulations that support inclusive education. These regulations are intended to ensure that all students, including those with special needs, have access to quality education that meets their needs. An example of a related regulation is Minister of National Education Regulation Number 70 of 2009 which states that inclusive education is an education delivery system that provides opportunities for all students to take part in education or study in an education with students in general. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the government's efforts to advance inclusive education, as well as analyze and describe the programs implemented in inclusive education. So, in this material you will get a comprehensive understanding and quantitative methods, especially looking for factual data and validating it by researchers. The motivation for this research is to cite articles and reviews. Inclusive education is very necessary for people with disabilities and special needs. This is why people with disabilities and special needs have the same rights to education as normal people. Children with disabilities have the right to receive support from the education system, health services, employment providers and wider social services. Persons with disabilities have the same rights and must have the same responsibilities. The government and education ministry need to focus more on inclusive education by providing more interventions and support. Apart from that, these recommendations also highlight the importance of continuous evaluation of the implementation of inclusive education to ensure that inclusive education goals can be achieved.

Abstract

There have been many calls for concern for students with special needs. However, many schools under the Catholic Foundation are still experiencing obstacles in providing adequate learning accommodations for them. This research seeks to make a design proposal for a Guide to Celebrating Diversity in regular schools which are in the process of becoming inclusive schools. The design was prepared based on a needs analysis result. The design was based on literature searches and good practices in various inclusive schools and the basics of Jesuit and Montessori education. The designs prepared are given input by expert practitioners and submitted to teachers at schools to get input. This design is very likely to be used by school stakeholders. The main principle that needs to be considered is the Foundation's policy regarding the preparation of human resources, acceptance of new students, curriculum accommodation, the prepared environment, and funding. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand how the implementation of an inclusive education service model for children with special needs (ABK) is carried out at Al Firdaus Elementary School in Surakarta. The method used in this research is a qualitative case study method. The subjects of this research are the School Principal, the Inclusion Team, and Special Guidance Teachers. (SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER). Data collection in this research was conducted through interviews with the Principal, the Inclusion Team, and Special Guidance Teachers. (SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER). In addition, an analysis of supporting research documents was also conducted. The technique for testing the validity of data uses data source triangulation. The data analysis technique in this research employs data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing in accordance with the theory of Miles and Huberman. The research findings concluded that Al Firdaus Elementary School employs an inclusive education service model that combines both regular (full inclusion) and pull-out approaches. Furthermore, the learning process for students with special needs at Al Firdaus Elementary School consists of two types: one where students require modifications in terms of materials, targets, worksheets, and assessment systems, and another where students who do not need modifications have the same materials, targets, worksheets, and assessment systems as their regular classmates. In its implementation, the school has applied principles that must be understood in organizing inclusive education services, namely friendly education, optimal development, collaboration with relevant parties, and system change.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of teachers in realizing inclusive education for Children with Special Needs (ABK) at SMP Negeri 03 Karanganyar. Through qualitative approaches and triangulation techniques, data was obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that teachers play the role of facilitators, motivators, evaluators, and collaborators. The strategies used include differential learning, individualized instruction, the use of visual media, and adaptive classroom management. Teachers also work with psychologists, BK teachers, and parents to accompany ABK as a whole. The obstacles faced include the lack of physical facilities, the lack of optimal assistive technology, and the absence of mentoring programs. Nevertheless, the commitment and competence of teachers are the main factors for the success of inclusive education. This research recommends ongoing training, improved facilities, and cross-professional collaboration to support the right to learn in a fair and meaningful manner.

Abstract

Abstract Students with intellectual disabilities face challenges in cognitive, social, and adaptive aspects that have a significant impact on the learning process. The urgency of individually designed educational interventions is important to support their optimal development. The purpose of this study was to design and analyze the effectiveness of IEP-based individual education programs (IEP) to improve basic and social knowledge of students with intellectual disabilities. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation which were then analyzed using Miles & Huberman data reduction techniques. The results showed that the application of strategies such as task analysis, positive reinforcement, and parental involvement can consistently improve students' reading skills, independence in daily activities, and social interactions. This study provides theoretical contributions to strengthening behavioral approaches and ZPD in special education, providing practical impacts on teachers, schools, and intervention programs that are integrated with political decision making. Further research is recommended to expand the scope of subjects and duration of intervention in order to obtain more comprehensive results. Keywords: educational intervention, intellectual disability, IEP, inclusive education.
