Abstract

The work of the Youth Organization at Kudubanjar (Karang Taruna Kudubanjar) has not been implemented optimally in providing contributions and supplies to the community. This is caused by a lack of socialization and documentation of activities that have occurred, so that existing programs are sometimes not realized properly. To overcome this problem, this time the service will hold training aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the Youth Organization program. This training will cover several important aspects such as: effective socialization, activity documentation, project management, and use of technology. With this training, it is hoped that the Kudubanjar Youth Organization can be more effective in carrying out its programs and make a greater contribution to society. AI workshop for the young generation serves as the first step in preparing organizations to face rapid technological change, while opening up opportunities to create innovation and sustainable growth in the AI ​​era. As well as providing training in the form of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in making public service advertisements, which function to encourage people to care about the environment, with an interesting delivery method, namely in the form of storytelling. Participants gain a strong knowledge base about AI and feel more confident in facing inevitable technological developments, and this activity will open the door to a brighter future full of potential for the younger generation, especially youth organization members.

Abstract

In today's digital information era, effective and efficient communication is the main key to conveying messages to the public. One of the increasingly popular communication media is Running Text, or what is often called running text. The work program for making Running Text is a program that is part of the community service program. The purpose of this program is to optimize the use of technology and increase the use of technology in the daily lives of village communities, encouraging adaptation to increasingly rapid digital developments. There is also a reason why the work program for making Running Text is as a digital clock and display of village hall information, so that the wider community can obtain information about the existence of the Manungal village hall. The flexibility of using Running Text, which is updated in real time and can be adjusted to the needs of the main hall, makes it a flexible medium for various types of information, from routine announcements to urgent notifications. The method applied in this service includes three main stages, namely design, implementation, and evaluation. Design is the process of work or design used to design a design object. In designing Running Text, the first step is to identify the main purpose of the information to be conveyed. Running Text is used to convey short and precise information. The sentences used must be short but informative, and use language that is easily understood by the community. The implementation of this community service program has succeeded in achieving the desired goals. The following are some of the results that have been achieved in the implementation of this community service program: Increasing Access to Information, Utilization of Digital Technology, Cost Savings by the village hall, and Increasing Time Awareness.

Abstract

The application of running text technology at the Ketapangkuning Village Hall aims to increase the efficiency of disseminating public information which so far still relies on conventional methods. This program is implemented using a community service method which includes several stages, namely planning through a needs survey, installing running text technology in strategic locations, training village officials in operating the system, and evaluating the effectiveness of implementing this technology. With running text, important information such as meeting schedules, announcements and public services can be displayed in real-time and repeatedly, making it easier for the public to access. This program also equips village officials with technological skills to manage the system independently. The results of the implementation show an increase in the transparency of public services, the effectiveness of meetings, and community participation in village activities. Overall, this system has succeeded in supporting better, open and accountable village governance, and has the potential to become a model for other villages with similar challenges in disseminating public information.

Abstract

Cultivation is an activity that is an important sector in the community's economy. One of the activities that is popular with the community is fish farming. To increase fish cultivation, a water quality monitoring system is needed which aims to monitor temperature, pH, oxygen levels, and anomia. To achieve an efficient water quality cultivation system, IoT-based technology is needed. The location of this KKN is located in Tapen village, Kudu sub-district, Jombang regency. The method used in this activity is a question-and-answer method conducted with fish farmers. This activity aims to produce a hydropure meter tool that can help fish farmers monitor water conditions more efficiently and detect changes in water quality quickly. The resulting tool was tested in catfish ponds chosen by fish farmers in Tapen Village and data was obtained, namely pond 1 tds meter 269, temperature 28.19°C, ec 0.072; pool 2 tds quality 430, ec 1.18, temperature 28.63°C; pool 3 tds quality 307, ec 0.83 and temperature 29.75°C. The results of the trials above that have been carried out, show that the water quality and temperature of the catfish pond are good for fish cultivation.

Abstract

Public services in Katemas village require innovation to be more optimal in serving the community. with this background, the researcher created an innovation called the WhatsApp Bot Service System. The purpose of creating this system is to make Katemas village services more efficient and optimal. This study uses the Service Learning (SL) method. Seifer defines Service Learning as a teaching approach that integrates community service activities with academic learning objectives. The results of the study are an application that is useful for public services in Katemas village.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Microsoft Word training and digital marketing development through the Blogger platform in Menturus Village. The methods used are interview and observation methods involving 15 participants, consisting of local business actors and students of SDN Menturus. The approach was carried out using the interview and observation methods. The results of the study showed a significant increase in skills in using Microsoft Word and digital marketing capabilities. These findings indicate that technology-based training can empower rural communities in facing marketing challenges in the digital era, as well as encourage local economic growth.

Abstract

The digital literacy skills of teachers in Islamic boarding schools are still low, especially in the use of technology to support learning activities and academic administration. One of the challenges faced is the lack of skills in using word processing software to systematically compile teaching materials and academic documents. This community service aims to improve the digital competence of Islamic boarding school teachers through training in the use of word processing software. The method used is a participatory approach with stages of planning, implementation of training based on direct practice, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. This activity involves Islamic boarding school teachers as the main participants who receive intensive training in document creation and formatting, table management, and the use of automation features such as mass mailings and tables of contents. The results of the community service show an increase in participants' skills in operating word processing software, as indicated by an increase in post-test scores compared to the pre-test. In addition, this training also resulted in significant social changes, such as increased digital literacy of teachers, the emergence of individuals who act as mentors for colleagues, and the adoption of technology in academic administration. This program proves that a direct practice-based approach is effective in improving the digital skills of Islamic boarding school teachers. For the sustainability of the program, it is recommended that there be further training, a mentoring system between teachers, and technological infrastructure support so that the implementation of digital skills can take place optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

The limited understanding of village officials in Ngampel Village, Ngusikan District, Jombang Regency, regarding the development and utilization of the Village Information System (SID) is caused by limited human resource support and minimal facilities and infrastructure available. This condition has an impact on the low awareness of village officials regarding the importance of utilizing the village website as a tool for disseminating information. Until now, the knowledge of village officials regarding the creation and management of websites is still very limited, so that the dissemination of information through this platform has not been optimal. In this community service activity, a research team from KH. A. Wahab Hasbulloh University also designed a website for Ngampel Village and provided training to village officials to improve their ability to manage the Village Information System (SID) effectively. The main objective of this activity is to increase accessibility and socialization of village programs and information. The approach used involves the application of appropriate technology through training and management of the SID website. The results of this activity include the creation of the Village Information System (SID) website and a significant increase in the skills of village officials in managing the website.
