Abstract

Cilegon City is an area that has a high level of vulnerability to various disasters, including natural disasters. Natural disasters are events that are natural and have the potential to cause damage and destruction to the environment, with impacts in the form of loss of life, material loss, and damage to infrastructure that has been developed over some time. Based on the Cilegon City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), flooding is a frequent natural disaster in Cilegon City. This research aims to identify the factors that cause flooding in the Jombang Subdistrict area. The research stages are observation, data collection, data processing with the causal loop diagram approach, data validation, data analysis, and conclusion. The results of the analysis show that the main factors causing flooding in Jombang Subdistrict are the intensity of rainfall, small drainage, and the small number of absorption wells. The consequences caused by floods are property damage, the spread of disease, economic losses, environmental damage, infrastructure disruption, and social disruption. Therefore, the solution to flooding in Jombang Subdistrict is to expand drainage, add the number of absorption wells, provide education to the community about environmentally friendly behavior, and green the environment. Abstract

UD. KI is an industry that produces Buis Benton type precast concrete. The materials that make up concrete blocks are cement, water, and coarse and fine aggregates. The supply of coarse aggregate is obtained from Gunung Sugih river sand, where availability is greatly influenced by flood conditions during the rainy season where there is a slight shortage which causes an increase in order prices. If the company wants to take steps to secure stock of sand raw materials to anticipate increases in order costs and ensure production continuity, this will disrupt the balance of production capital costs and the availability of storage space. Therefore, it is necessary to measure raw material inventories so that companies can take safety measures to anticipate increases in order costs and ensure production continuity. Analysis of the supply of coarse aggregate raw materials in concrete buis production at UD. KI uses the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. By implementing the EOQ method, ordering value can be saved by 214.04 tonnes in 2021 and 173.28 tonnes in 2022, and there has been a significant reduction in the order frequency level from 12 times to 2 times per year, with a safety stock of 61.74 tons. Abstract

ABC is a plastic industry company where in the production process the plastic pellets will undergo a molding process which will then form a product. After the production process there are packing workers whose job is to select products that comply with the applicable SOP so that precision is required in sorting the products to be put into packaging. In this case there is a back and forth movement. This can pose a risk to the health of packing workers and will cause complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS). Therefore, to identify the risk level of body posture of packing workers, work posture measurement methods such as the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method are needed and a questionnaire survey is needed to find out which muscles are at risk using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire. From the results of the survey using the NBM questionnaire, there are several muscle parts that have a high risk of injury, namely the muscles of the lower neck, right shoulder, waist, right ankle with a score of 3 which means pain, as well as the muscles of the back, right and left forearm with a score of 4 which means very ill. Furthermore, the score obtained from measuring work posture using the RULA method is 6, which is at action level 3, which means that packing workers work with a high level of risk, so the work requires inspection and proposed improvements must be implemented. Abstract

XY is a manufacturing industry engaged in the production of defense equipment. In the production process, machines are one of the important things. As one of the most important aspects in the manufacturing process, machine productivity must always be improved. Therefore, methods are needed to increase productivity in line with fluctuating business needs. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a method that can be used to determine the productivity of a machine. OEE is related to the availability ratio, performance ratio, and quality ratio of the production process. The multiplication of these three factors produces the company's OEE value which will later be compared with the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) standard OEE value. Research was carried out on welding machines at PT. XY. The machine is used to make bumpers. Based on calculations, the welding machine obtained an availability ratio (83%), quality ratio (100%) and performance efficiency (87%). So, if the three are multiplied, we get an OEE value of 72%, it can be seen that the OEE value is still below the global standard of 85%.
