Abstract

Emotional maturity is a condition where a person is able to control, control and channel his emotions based on the situation and conditions that occur, so that he has a good level of emotional stability in solving a problem that occurs. The factors that can affect emotional maturity here are one of them influenced by parenting patterns, where parenting here is how to educate, maintain, nurture and guide their children towards the maturation process. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting patterns with the level of emotional maturity of students. This study examines the relationship between parenting patterns with the level of emotional maturity of students, where the method used in this study is quantitative correlation. The population in this study amounted to 210 people who were registered with a sample of 138 students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire with a likert scale. Data analysis was performed using statistical programs on IBM Statistical 20 computers and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of data processing, the rcount value is 0.450 with an rtable value of 0.165, the rcount value is greater than the rtable value 0.450> 0.1656, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the relationship between parenting patterns and the level of emotional maturity of students.

Abstract

Currently, dubbed version of imported films or programs are available as one of the options of content localization, aside from subtitles. Despite the potential of dubbing and dubbing translation, especially in Indonesia, not many departments in higher education institutions offer lesson in dubbing translation. This article aims to propose what topics can be covered in a dubbing translation lesson, why dubbing translation lesson is important, and what dilemmas arise in teaching dubbing translation. The study was conducted using literature review method. Future research may be done to find the gap between the translation skills required in Indonesian dubbing industry and the ones acquired by Translation students in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity of Android-based educational game learning media in the Informatics subject at SMK Negeri 9 Padang. This research is a Research and Development study conducted in class X at SMK Negeri 9 Padang. The test subjects in this study were class X students majoring in Culinary and Hospitality. The instrument used is a media validation sheet which will be validated by material experts, media experts and linguists. The results of the assessment of the three validators obtained a validity test of 88.81%, so that the validity level can be interpreted as very valid to use. In conclusion, based on the assessment along with expert input as well as the results of field trials of Android-based educational games, the feasibility, excellence, and can be used in the learning process in Informatics class X SMK N 9 Padang

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIIB MTs Sehati Ulutedong. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 24 orang siswa kelas VIIB. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes hasil belajar siklus I dan siklus II. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam peneli­ti­an ini menggunakan teknik tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif yang ditunjukkan dalam bentuk persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara bersiklus maka pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa yang hasil belajarnya tuntas dari siklus I (37,5%) ke siklus II (100%) dan yang tidak tuntas menurun dari siklus I (62,5%) ke siklus II (0%) Ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus II mencapai 100% dan telah memenuhi nilai ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 85%.Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa pada siklus I adalah 66,45 berada pada kategori rendah dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata 85,20 berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan maka disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIIB.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is how to improve student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) learning model. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on network infrastructure administration material. The results of the initial condition research using interviews, observation and item analysis, class XI students of SMK N 2 Padang City as research subjects, have an average learning achievement score that is below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a procedural model developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart is a spiral research model that is commonly used and consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: 1) the planning stage 2) the acting stage, 3) the observing stage and 4) the reflection stage. The number of research subjects consisting of 22 students. From the research results, it was obtained data that the PBI model can improve learning outcomes in network infrastructure administration (AIJ). This is indicated by the value of the results given in the initial conditions, from 22 students, the results obtained were 55% of students who did not complete. After the action was taken in cycle 1, student learning outcomes increased to 50% of students who completed, and continued to increase in the second cycle, with a completeness percentage of 81%.

Abstract

The thematic learning model has a scientific approach that is essentially a scientific approach where the learning process will be more meaningful if the child experiences what he is learning. The implementation of the elementary thematic learning curriculum is a tendency to return to the initial thought that students will learn better when the environment is created naturally. Teachers must place students as the center of all learning activities so that they are able to explore material and enrich their learning experiences. Thus a thematic learning tool for SD Class IV is designed as a guide for teachers and students to learn based on a thematic curriculum. This research is a type of research and development that aims to measure the validity, practicality and effectiveness of developing thematic learning devices for Class IV SD. The research and development model used is 4-D (four D Models). This model consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The test subjects in this development research were 5 teachers at SDN 03 Alai Padang, 2 teachers at SDN Experiment Padang and 30 students in grade IV.b at SDN 03 Alai Padang. Based on the results of the validity test conducted by the expert, the development of thematic learning tools for SD class IV obtained an overall average of 87.16% which is in the very valid criteria. The practicality test result is 93.37% which is in the very practical criteria. Furthermore, the effectiveness test can be seen from the results of student learning before (pre-test) and after (post-test) trials at 3.86% which are at an effective level for use
