Abstract

In the realm of business negotiations, persuasive communication stands as a cornerstone for achieving favorable outcomes. It involves the strategic use of language, body language, and emotional intelligence to influence counterparts towards mutually beneficial agreements. Understanding the nuances of persuasive communication in this context is crucial for navigating the complexities of modern business interactions. This study aims to explore the strategies and techniques of persuasive communication in business negotiations, with a focus on understanding its underlying principles, practical applications, and impact on negotiation outcomes. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, the study seeks to identify key trends, challenges, and opportunities in the field, providing insights for practitioners and researchers alike. The research methodology employed in this study is a thorough literature review conducted using NVivo, a qualitative analysis software. Relevant sources including books, academic journals, articles, and reports were collected and analyzed to gain insights into persuasive communication strategies in business negotiations. The data collected were systematically analyzed to identify recurring themes, patterns, and relationships, providing a rich understanding of the subject matter. The study findings reveal a myriad of persuasive communication strategies and techniques employed in business negotiations, ranging from linguistic tactics to nonverbal cues and emotional appeals. Key themes identified include the importance of building rapport, understanding counterpart motivations, and adapting communication approaches to suit diverse cultural contexts. The implications of this study extend to both practitioners and researchers in the field of business negotiations. Practitioners can gain valuable insights into effective communication strategies, enabling them to navigate negotiations with confidence and finesse.

Abstract

In the contemporary landscape of digital marketing, the role of influencers has become increasingly prominent, particularly within the online fashion industry. Understanding the impact of influencer collaborations on digital marketing strategy is essential for brands seeking to effectively engage with consumers in the digital sphere. This research is important because it provides a deep understanding of the role of influencers in digital marketing strategies within the online fashion industry, which is currently one of the most dynamic and competitive industries digitally. By analyzing factors such as influencer authenticity and credibility, the impact of engaging content, and strategies to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement through influencer collaborations, this research offers invaluable insights for brands and marketing practitioners in optimizing their strategies. This study aims to analyze the role of influencers in digital marketing strategy within the online fashion industry, with a focus on their effectiveness in enhancing brand visibility and driving consumer engagement. Strategic collaborations with influencers aligned with brand values and audience demographics are identified as effective approaches for building brand visibility and fostering consumer engagement in the digital landscape. The real implications of this research include the ability to steer more effective digital marketing practices, enhance interactions with consumers, and ultimately, improve business performance such as increased sales and the development of a loyal customer base.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Pancasila democracy during general elections in Temanggung District, focusing on public participation and trust in the electoral process. The study aims to analyze the application of Pancasila values in the democratic process, assess public involvement and trust, identify obstacles, and propose solutions. Normative legal research methods and a conceptual approach were employed to analyze the implementation of Pancasila democracy. Findings indicate the need to optimize measures to achieve democracy aligned with Pancasila principles, including enhancing public trust and awareness of the collective goal of elections. Residents of Temanggung Regency demonstrate a high level of trust in community participation as a manifestation of Pancasila democracy. The study identifies strengths and weaknesses in implementing Pancasila democracy, highlighting obstacles like low awareness and limited engagement. Proposed solutions include increasing public awareness, enhancing voter education, and fostering community engagement to strengthen democratic values. Addressing challenges such as voter education, political apathy, and distrust in the electoral system is crucial for a robust Pancasila democracy. Enhancing public participation, trust, and awareness is essential for upholding Pancasila democracy in Temanggung District.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of cyberspace cooperation between Indonesia and the United States in an effort to tackle cyber terrorism in Indonesia in the 2019-2023 period. The background of this research is based on the increasing cyber threats faced by Indonesia, including attacks on critical infrastructure and government data. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to collect and analyze data from various sources such as documents, books, journal articles, reports related to the problem to be solved, and publications related to cyber security and cyber diplomacy. The results show that cooperation between Indonesia and the United States has strengthened Indonesia's cyber defense capabilities through various initiatives, including incident management capacity building, national cyber strategy development, and information exchange. This cooperation is also supported by global cybersecurity policies and initiatives that involve both countries in international forums such as the ASEAN-US Cyber Policy Dialogue. This research concludes that cyberspace cooperation between Indonesia and the United States is a strategic step to address cyber threats and enhance security stability in the Southeast Asian region. Policy recommendations include further developing the cooperation framework and increasing cybersecurity awareness among the public.

Abstract

Communication by a leader plays an important role in the process of conveying information, ideas and other things within an organisation. A leader's ability to communicate with employees, stakeholders, and clients in the most effective way is key. How organisational communication is applied in the training programme received by leaders. In the practice, decision-making, miscommunication, and ineffectiveness of activities still have the potential to occur. For this reason, research organization communication flow for leadership training program is needed. So that the company's business can be effective and sustainable. This research using a qualitative approach will deepen and analyse. The informants used as sources in this research are project leaders, expert instructors, organisational communication experts, user/client representatives and business development. The results showed the importance of having organisational communication to make training effective. The communication chosen should be in accordance with the culture of the organisation, and the success of the training also needs to be communicated to the public so that the organisation has good institutional value. Effective communication plays an important role in the success of leadership training programmes that aim to promote sustainability in business organisations.

Abstract

This study explores the pivotal role of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in shaping the growth dynamics of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Utilizing Structural Equation Modelling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), the research analyzes the relationships between intellectual property awareness, utilization, innovation, and competitiveness among 110 MSMEs. The findings highlight a significant positive relationship between intellectual property awareness and utilization, a strong link between intellectual property protection and innovation, and a notable impact on competitiveness. Furthermore, the study identifies intellectual property as a partial mediator, providing a nuanced understanding of its role in MSME growth. Practical implications include the need for educational initiatives to enhance IPR awareness, simplified registration processes, and strategic intellectual property management to foster innovation and competitiveness. These insights are crucial for policymakers and MSMEs striving for sustainable growth and a competitive edge in the global market.

Abstract

There were 938 cases of fire disasters in Central Java in 2021 and Semarang City was in first place with 162 cases. SLBN Semarang, which is located in the city of Semarang, certainly needs effective learning media to increase disaster knowledge. This research aims to develop Fivarom-net, a braille-based fire disaster evacuation map learning media. The fulfillment of facilities and accessibility is the main urgency to increase knowledge and get to know the space in the school environment. This research uses a research and development approach with ADDIE's development design consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data analysis consists of qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of observation of learning media at SLBN Semarang are still minimal and inadequate for teaching and learning activities for visually impaired students in mobility-oriented learning. Fivarom-net learning media was developed to produce a better understanding of space through the concept of maps that adjust the learning characteristics of visually impaired students. The analysis of media effectiveness was calculated by calculating the average assessment of three aspects from media experts obtained a figure of 90.67% and from material experts of 84%. Thus, Fivarom-net media is declared effective for the learning of visually impaired students in understanding the surrounding space, especially evacuation routes. This research can increase literacy and knowledge in the field of learning media that are in accordance with the learning characteristics of visually impaired students. In addition, this research contributes to the world of education for children with special needs.

Abstract

The research aims to explain the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Jakarta Smart City (JSC) technology, which was first implemented in Indonesia in 2014, starting in the Jakarta City Region (DKJ), followed by 100 cities, carried out to overcome the technology gap between regions. Use of AI and JSC by the government for public services, such as smart environment; people's economy; government; population mobility, and branding. Research methodology uses qualitative with a descriptive approach using observation instruments and direct interviews. The research period is three months (March to April 2024). Locations in seven JSC management units. The research population was in five JSC divisions, using a snowball pattern sample. The research results show that there has been an increase in the efficiency of public services using AI and JSC technology in transportation management; rubbish; city ​​security defense; and improving the quality of resources. Traffic congestion research recommendations, DKJ must develop innovations for all integrated public transportation facilities, by expanding the Integrated Highway (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) networks. For flooding problems, DKJ must use early digital detection technology for flood monitoring. In the future, DKJ hopes to implement an integrated digital payment system between the Resident Card and: Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), digital lifetime extension of the Driving License (SIM), processing of annual Vehicle Registration Certificates (STNK), and Vehicle Tax Proof Bermptor (BPKB) five-yearly all two-wheeled vehicles online (digitally) without queuing at the location.

Abstract

Community-Based Intervention (IBM) is one of the programs for the Prevention of Eradication of Narcotics Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with the concept of community empowerment (from the community, by the community, and for the community). These programs aim to intervene in light drug abusers by people who have been trained by the National Narcotics Agency and have competence. BNNP Central Kalimantan started implementing the Community-Based Intervention Program in 2021 where there are several obstacles in its implementation. This study aims to produce recommendations and strategies so that the Community-Based Intervention program at BNNP Central Kalimantan can run optimally. This research used qualitative research methods. The data was analyzed using the Interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The research results indicate that the variables that require attention and serve as preconditions for the success of the implementation process have been met in the implementation of the IBM. As for the constraints still encountered, they will serve as recommendations for the sustainability of future programs

Abstract

Riau Islands is one of the provinces that handles TB cases by carrying out a collaborative process, which is stated in the Decree of the Riau Islands Province Tuberculosis Management Acceleration Team in 2022. This research aims to find out the collaboration process carried out by stakeholders involved in tackling TB cases in Islands Province Riau. This research uses a qualitative approach. by presenting the results descriptively, what is used is qualitative data analysis, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification to present the findings in a structured manner. Then the results are described based on the dynamics of collaborative governance according to Ansell and Gash, which uses five indicators, namely face to face, trust building, commitment to process, shared understanding, intermediated outcomes. The research results, the collaboration has been reduction the TB cases in the Riau Islands province, but this is not significant when compared to the target to be achieved. Apart from that, there are still cases that have not been reported by Health Service Facilities to the Tuberculosis Information System. So future changes or revisions regarding collaboration are still needed to make it easier to handle the obstacles faced by stakeholders.
