Abstract

Studi peramalan harga beras menengah di Jawa Barat selama ini sebagian besar mengandalkan pendekatan satu model tanpa evaluasi out-of-sample yang sistematis, sehingga kinerja prediktif komparatif dari berbagai model deret waktu yang bersaing dalam kondisi peramalan yang realistis belum diteliti. Penelitian ini mengatasi kesenjangan tersebut dengan membandingkan lima model deret waktu, yaitu Seasonal Naïve, ARIMA (1,1,1), Additive Holt-Winters ETS, SARIMA (0,1,1) (0,1,1,12), dan SARIMA (1,1,1) (1,1,1,12) untuk harga beras medium bulanan di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Data diperoleh dari Pusat Informasi Harga Pangan Strategis Nasional (PIHPS) yang mencakup periode April 2017 hingga November 2025, terdiri dari 104 pengamatan bulanan. Kinerja model dievaluasi menggunakan prosedur jendela yang diperluas selama periode uji 21 bulan (Maret 2024 – November 2025) berdasarkan tiga metrik akurasi: MAE, RMSE, dan MAPE. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ARIMA (1,1,1) secara konsisten mengungguli semua model pesaing, dengan mencapai MAE sebesar Rp 92,63/kg, RMSE sebesar Rp 169,47/kg, dan MAPE sebesar 0,62%, yang diklasifikasikan sebagai sangat akurat berdasarkan kriteria Lewis (1982). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa, dalam periode evaluasi yang ditandai oleh gangguan pasokan akibat El Niño dan perubahan kebijakan HET pemerintah, spesifikasi ARIMA non-musiman mencapai akurasi out-of-sample yang lebih unggul dibandingkan model SARIMA yang memasukkan komponen musiman historis, pola ini sejalan dengan kemungkinan bahwa gangguan musiman selama periode anomali membatasi keunggulan prediktif spesifikasi model musiman. Model dengan kinerja terbaik kemudian diterapkan untuk meramalkan harga beras untuk periode Desember 2025 - November 2026, dengan proyeksi harga yang relatif stabil di sekitar Rp. 14.809/kg. Temuan ini memberikan informasi awal yang dapat ditindaklanjuti bagi pemangku kepentingan regional dalam pemantauan dan pengelolaan harga beras jangka pendek.

Abstract

Rapid technological advancements have brought about changes in the world of education, including theirapplication in mathematics instruction. This study aims to develop a virtual mathematics laboratory focusedon plane geometry and to determine its feasibility and practicality. The research design employed is Researchand Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development,implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 18 seventh-grade students at MTsS NWSepit. Data collection techniques included interviews, expert validation regarding the media and content, anda student practicality questionnaire. The results showed that the feasibility rating from the media expert was87.33% and from the content expert was 84.28%, with an average of 85.51% in the “highly feasible” category.The students’ practicality level reached 88.75%, falling into the “very good” category. Thus, the developedvirtual laboratory is deemed feasible and practical and has the potential to enhance students’ conceptualunderstanding interactively. Furthermore, the development of this virtual laboratory has a positive impacton the learning process, namely by increasing students’ engagement, interest, and motivation in studyingplane geometry through more engaging and interactive technology-based learning.

Abstract

Delayed graduation is one of the academic issues that can affect the effectiveness of higher education management and the quality of graduates. This problem is also experienced by students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Universitas Nusa Cendana, where many students have not completed their studies on time. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the risk of delayed graduation among students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Universitas Nusa Cendana using a binary logistic regression model, considering both academic and non-academic factors. It also aims to determine the most dominant factor contributing to delayed graduation and to evaluate the model’s ability to classify and predict students’ graduation status. The dependent variable is graduation status, categorized as delayed graduation and on-time graduation. The independent variables include academic and non-academic factors. This study uses primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Universitas Nusa Cendana. The sample consisted of 96 students from the 2021/2022 cohort. The results indicate that gender, the number of repeated courses, and learning motivation significantly influence delayed graduation. The binary logistic regression model was able to predict students’ graduation status with an accuracy rate of 88.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' conceptual understanding of triangle concepts in Euclidean and Non-Euclidean geometry through the implementation of exploratory learning. The study was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach involving 30 twelfth-grade students at SMA Methodist Antiokhia Pancur Batu. Data were collected through observation and a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 20 statement items based on four indicators, namely understanding of Euclidean geometry, understanding of Non-Euclidean geometry, conceptual understanding of triangles, and cognitive impact of learning. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques by calculating the mean score of each indicator, which generally fell into the high category (range 2.98–3.41), with understanding of Non-Euclidean geometry still slightly lagging behind the other three indicators. The key finding of this study is that exploratory learning effectively encourages students to build a deeper conceptual understanding of triangles through observation, analysis, and discussion, rather than relying on rote procedural memorization. More importantly, integrating Euclidean and Non-Euclidean geometry within a single learning sequence was shown to broaden students' way of thinking: students came to understand not only the properties of triangles on flat planes but also that these properties can change on curved surfaces, resulting in a more flexible and contextual understanding of geometry. These findings imply that an integrative approach combining Euclidean and Non-Euclidean geometry has potential as an alternative strategy for teaching geometry at the senior high school level to foster students' critical and analytical thinking skills, while also addressing the gap in Non-Euclidean geometry instruction that remains rarely introduced at the secondary education level.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the solution of systems of linear equations (SLE) using the Gaussian elimination method through Windows and Android-based applications. This study is a comparative study with a quantitative descriptive approach focusing on the analysis of calculation results and the efficiency of software usage in the context of numerical analysis. Data were obtained from two SLE problem scenarios involving fractional and decimal coefficients, which were then solved using several applications, namely Maple, Microsoft Excel, and the Gauss-Elim calculator. The analysis was conducted based on aspects of accuracy, efficiency, possibility of errors, and ease of use. The results show that Windows and Android-based applications produce the same solutions despite following different solution procedures. Maple demonstrates a high level of accuracy with a systematic and structured solution process. Microsoft Excel requires greater precision because most procedures are carried out manually through elementary row operations. Meanwhile, the Gauss-Elim calculator is the most practical and efficient application because it can display solutions automatically in a short time. Therefore, each application has its own advantages and limitations in supporting SLE solutions using the Gaussian elimination method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Mataram tahun ajaran 2025/2026 dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika ditinjau dari self-efficacy. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 91 siswa kelas VIII yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling, dengan 6 siswa mewakili kategori kepercayaan diri tinggi, sedang, dan rendah sebagai subjek wawancara mendalam. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, tes, dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Dalam mengidentifikasi jenis kesalahan serta penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita menggunakan kategori kesalahan berdasarkan teori Newman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan self-efficacy tinggi cenderung melakukan kesalahan karena ketidaktelitian, sedangkan siswa dengan self-efficacy sedang lebih banyak melakukan kesalahan daripada mereka yang memiliki self-efficacy tinggi karena meragukan kemampuan saat menghadapi masalah matematika. Di sisi lain, siswa dengan self-efficacy rendah sering kali mengalami kebuntuan kognitif dan menyerah sebelum mencoba tahap transformasi matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar matematika siswa yang diduga disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang interaktif dan menarik. Selain itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang bergantung pada perangkat handphone sering menimbulkan gangguan sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar matematika siswa melalui penggunaan media interaktif pembelajaran Quizizz berbasis paper mode pada siswa kelas VII MTsN 10 Agam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII.1 dan VII.2, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII.1 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket minat belajar matematika yang telah divalidasi dan diuji reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor minat belajar matematika siswa sebelum perlakuan sebesar 112,65 dan meningkat menjadi 140,20 setelah diberikan perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji t diperoleh bahwa peningkatan terdapat minat belajar matematika siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif Quizizz berbasis paper mode. Selain itu, hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 0,58 menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan minat belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif Quizizz berbasis paper mode dapat meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of realistic mathematics education based on Macromedia Flash on eighth-grade students’ problem-solving ability in Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables at MTsN 1 Bima in the 2025/2026 academic year. The study employed a quantitative quasi-experimental design. The population consisted of 110 eighth-grade students of MTsN 1 Bima. The samples were selected through cluster random sampling. Class VIII.1, consisting of 31 students, was assigned as the experimental class and received realistic mathematics education based on Macromedia Flash, while class VIII.4, consisting of 25 students, was assigned as the control class and received conventional learning based on Macromedia Flash. The research instrument was a posttest consisting of three essay questions. The data were analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that the average score of students’ problem-solving abilities in the experimental class was 85.937, while the control class obtained 79.16. Hypothesis testing showed that the = 4.461 and = 2.004 at a significance level of 0.05 (2-tailed). This finding indicates a significant difference between the two classes. Therefore, it can be concluded that realistic mathematics education based on Macromedia Flash significantly affects students’ problem-solving ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of math anxiety on creative thinking ability, the influence of self-efficacy on creative thinking ability, and the combined influence of math anxiety and self-efficacy on creative thinking ability in RADEC learning, as well as to investigate the interaction between math anxiety and self-efficacy in their influence on creative thinking ability among 8th-grade students studying linear equations. This study is a quantitative study using an ex-post facto approach. The sample in this study consists of 32 eighth-grade students from Class 8D at SMP Negeri 30 Semarang, selected using cluster random sampling. The instruments used were a mathematics anxiety questionnaire, a self-efficacy questionnaire, and a test of students’ creative thinking ability using linear equation material. Initial data analysis techniques included normality and linearity tests. Hypothesis testing utilized multiple linear regression and two-way ANOVA. The results of the study indicate that: (1) mathematics anxiety and self-efficacy have a simultaneous (joint) effect on students’ creative thinking ability; (2) there is an interaction between mathematics anxiety and self-efficacy in their influence on students’ creative thinking ability;
