Abstract

The Unus sub-watershed in the Sandubaya, Cakranegara, and Mataram districts of Mataram City plays a crucial role in the hydrological cycle, particularly in the process of rainwater infiltration. This study aims to identify and analyze soil infiltration capacity in the area, review soil conditions, infiltration rates, and identify factors contributing to frequent flooding. The research method involved measuring infiltration rates at various points using a Double Ring Infiltrometer and analyzing infiltration capacity using the Horton method. The results showed that the average infiltration rate in the Unus Watershed (DAS) was 16.38 cm/hour, which is categorized as fast. The correlation analysis between the Horton method and field testing showed a very strong relationship, with an average correlation coefficient of 0.880, indicating that this method can be used to estimate infiltration capacity in the study area. Furthermore, the analysis showed that the average infiltration coefficient in the Unus Watershed was 0.892, or 89%, with an average infiltration rate of 0.024 m3/hour. The main factors influencing infiltration rate are soil water content and soil type, with soil with lower water content tending to have higher infiltration rates. The dominant soil types in the Unus Watershed are sand and clay, with sand representing 43.13% and silt accounting for 48.94%. The results of this study can inform more effective water management strategies, including land-use planning, vegetation maintenance, and drainage infrastructure development to reduce the risk of flooding in the Unus Sub-Watershed.

Abstract

Prolonged labor in the first stage is defined as an extended latent phase and an extended active phase. The latent phase is considered prolonged when cervical dilation remains less than 4 cm after 8 hours of regular uterine contractions (more than two contractions within 10 minutes). Meanwhile, a prolonged active phase refers to inadequate cervical dilation progress after the diagnosis of the active phase of the first stage has been established, characterized by cervical dilation of less than 1 cm per hour for at least 2 hours despite ongoing labor progress, and a total duration exceeding 12 hours from 4 cm dilation to complete cervical dilation. Women experiencing prolonged labor are at increased risk of postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine atony, birth canal lacerations, infection, maternal exhaustion, and shock. For the fetus, prolonged labor elevates the risk of severe asphyxia, cerebral trauma, infection, and injury resulting from obstetric interventions. This study aimed to determine the effect of the birth ball intervention on the progress of labor during the active phase of the first stage. A quasi-experimental research design was employed, assessing the duration of the active phase of the first stage of labor using an observation sheet. The study utilized a two-group posttest-only design. The intervention group received the birth ball method, while the control group engaged in light ambulation within the room. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate approaches. Normality was assessed using the Shapiro–Wilk test, and hypothesis testing was performed using the independent samples t-test. The results of the bivariate analysis using the t-test revealed a p-value of 0.005 (< 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the intervention and control groups in terms of progress during the active phase of the first stage of labor. The mean duration of the active phase in the control group tended to be longer than that in the intervention group. This study demonstrates that the birth ball intervention has a significant effect on the progress of labor during the active phase of the first stage.

Abstract

Infants with a history of Low Birth Weight (LBW) are at a higher risk of experiencing growth disturbances in early life. Appropriate nutritional provision—whether through exclusive breastfeeding, formula feeding, or a combination of both—plays a crucial role in supporting the growth of LBW infants. However, in practice, variations in feeding patterns persist and may influence infant growth outcomes, particularly during the age of 1–6 months. This study aimed to determine the association between nutritional provision and growth among infants with a history of Low Birth Weight (LBW) in the working area of Puskesmas Kaliwungu. A retrospective study design was employed. The study population consisted of all infants aged 1–6 months with a history of LBW within the working area of Puskesmas Kaliwungu. A total of 38 infants were included as the sample, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through observation sheets and records from the Maternal and Child Health Handbook (Kartu Menuju Sehat/KMS). Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods, with the Fisher’s Exact test applied for statistical analysis. The univariate analysis indicated that the majority of infants with a history of LBW received combined nutrition (breast milk and formula), accounting for 63.2%. Most infants were also classified as having normal growth based on the weight-for-age (WFA) indicator (76.3%). The bivariate analysis using Fisher’s Exact test demonstrated no significant association between nutritional provision and growth among infants with a history of LBW (p-value = 1.000; p > 0.05). In conclusion, this study found no significant relationship between nutritional provision and growth among infants with a history of Low Birth Weight (LBW) in the working area of Puskesmas Kaliwungu.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the sharia audit quality of firms listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70) from 2022 to 2024 and how audit tenure, audit delay, and audit rotation impacted it. In order to maintain stakeholders' and investors' faith in Islamic enterprises' financial statements, Sharia audit quality is crucial. The quantitative methodology used in this study is based on secondary data collected from yearly financial statements and reports prepared by independent auditors. All firms listed on the JII70 make up the study population. Over the course of three years, 15 organizations were selected as research samples by purposive selection. With the help of statistical software, panel data regression is used as the data analysis approach. According to the findings, sharia audit quality is positively impacted by audit rotation and audit tenure, and negatively impacted by audit delays. The quality of sharia audits is significantly impacted by audit tenure, audit delay, and audit rotation all at once. These findings suggest that appropriate audit tenure, audit delay management, and audit rotation are important factors in maintaining auditor independence and enhancing sharia audit quality. This study is expected to contribute theoretically to the development of sharia auditing literature and provide practical considerations for auditors, corporate management, and Islamic capital market regulators.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green accounting implementation and environmental performance on firm value in the basic materials sector listed on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) during the 2020–2024 period. Firm value is measured using Tobin’s Q ratio, green accounting is measured through environmental cost ratios, and environmental performance is measured using the PROPER rating. This research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis with EViews software. The research sample consists of 9 basic materials companies listed on ISSI during the observation period. The data are obtained from companies’ annual reports, sustainability reports, and PROPER reports. The results show that the implementation of green accounting has a positive and significant effect on firm value, while environmental performance does not have a significant effect on firm value. These findings indicate that investors still place greater emphasis on financial aspects than on environmental performance when assessing firm value.

Abstract

The background of this research focuses on the importance of implementing sharia accounting based on the provisions of PSAK 402. This study aims to analyze the application of sharia accounting based on PSAK 402 in murabahah financing and identify obstacles that often occur in murabahah financing at the Salimah Multipurpose Sharia Cooperative. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of murabahah financing accounting at the Salimah Multipurpose Sharia Cooperative is not fully in accordance with the provisions of PSAK 402. The inconsistency is found in the aspects of recognition and measurement, as well as presentation. Where the Salimah Multipurpose Sharia Cooperative does not apply fines, down payments, realization of receivables, and presentation of murabahah expenses. However, in the disclosure aspect, the application of murabahah financing accounting is in accordance with the provisions of PSAK 402. The obstacle that often occurs in murabahah financing at the Salimah Multipurpose Sharia Cooperative is the existence of problematic financing. Problematic financing occurs because, of all customers or members served, some members fail to fulfill their monthly mandatory savings obligations. This study concludes that sharia accounting practices in cooperatives are quite good, but not yet fully compliant with PSAK 402 standards and therefore require improvement.

Abstract

Urban farming is a cultivation innovation that is highly relevant for environments with limited land availability and can also function as a contextual learning medium in community-based educational settings, including the Sanggar Belajar (SB) of SIKL Kuala Lumpur. This study aimed to analyze perceptions and the potential implementation of urban farming as a cultivation innovation based on the views of three respondent groups: teachers/sanggar managers, parents of Grade 5 students, and Grade 5 students. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5). The respondents consisted of 4 teachers/sanggar managers, 7 parents, and 13 students. Data were analyzed using total scores, mean values, and the Respondent Achievement Level (TCR), and then interpreted into perception categories. The results showed that teachers/sanggar managers had a positive perception of urban farming, with a high category score (mean = 4.00; TCR = 80.00%), particularly in terms of conceptual understanding and its relevance to learning activities. Parents also demonstrated a positive perception in the high category (mean = 4.02; TCR = 80.48%), with the strongest support related to economic benefits, family access to fresh vegetables, and social cohesion. Meanwhile, students showed high to very high enthusiasm toward urban farming activities, especially in planting, caring for plants, harvesting, and feeling proud of consuming the harvest together. These findings indicate that urban farming has strong potential to be developed as a learning and community empowerment program at SB SIKL Kuala Lumpur. The main challenges are related to the availability of facilities, initial resource support, and sustained participation.

Abstract

Inventory management is a key determinant of operational efficiency and financial stability for exporting firms, particularly agricultural commodities exposed to logistics disruption. This study examines the inventory management dynamics of PT. X for 2020–2024 and tests the effects of Inventory Turnover (ITO) and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) on Return on Assets (ROA) and working capital. Using a longitudinal embedded single-case approach with descriptive analysis and linear regression, the findings indicate that the 2021 surge in global freight costs coincided with a significant rise in DIO and a longer cash conversion cycle. Regression results suggest that ITO is positively related to ROA (β = 0.383), while higher DIO weakens liquidity and working capital. The results highlight inventory efficiency as a strategic lever to sustain profitability and financial resilience amid supply-chain uncertainty.
