Abstract

Reducing the prevalence of stunting is a priority of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) in Indonesia until 2030 to reduce as much as 40% of the number of stunted toddlers (Kemenkes RI, 2018; WHO, 2018). The national target for stunting prevalence is set at l4% (fourteen percent) by 2024 (PP RI, 2021). To detect and prevent stunting, cooperation from various stakeholders is needed, especially those related to child nutrition and health. The relevant stakeholders are not only health workers but also health cadres. Posyandu cadres as people who are also close to the community and are an extension of health workers in terms of dealing with maternal and child health problems found in the community can be very strategic to be used as parties who can help overcome the problem of stunting according to their capacity. Based on this, we intend to intervene with health cadres as promoters of stunting prevention and early detection in Karang Intan Sub-district as a sub-district with a high stunting rate in Banjar District. Health cadres will be provided with training, and then they are expected to apply their knowledge to the community, especially prospective mothers, new mothers and mothers with toddlers to care about stunting and prevent stunting

Abstract

The experience of being a parent is not always pleasant, especially being a mother. The reality is that the responsibility of motherhood often causes conflict within a woman. A postpartum woman needs physical and psychological adaptation in the first weeks after giving birth. In the adaptation process, some women manage to adapt well but others do not manage to adjust and experience psychological disorders with various symptoms or a syndrome called Baby Blues Syndrome. One of the efforts to prevent the occurrence of baby blues is by doing physical activity. Physical activity in the form of postpartum exercises that can be done immediately after delivery with movements that increase every day according to the mother's ability. Postpartum exercises with regularity can accelerate the recovery of physiological and psychological health status after childbirth. The most important physiological health recovery is the acceleration of healing of the uterus, abdomen, and hip muscles that have been traumatized and accelerate the return of these parts to their normal form. Psychologically, postpartum exercises can increase the mother's ability to deal with stress and relax so as to reduce postpartum depression. Based on aesthetic or beauty assessment, postpartum exercises will improve the elasticity of muscles that have been stretched, maintain good posture, and restore body slimness

Abstract

If a pregnant woman experiences anemia and SEVERITY, she will be at risk during her pregnancy, childbirth and the baby that will be born. During pregnancy, pregnant women who experience anemia and SEVERITY are at risk of abortion, impaired growth of fetal brain cells, the distribution of nutrients from mother to fetus will also be severely disrupted, so that it will make the baby born potentially experience Low Birth Weight Babies (LBW) which if the condition is not handled will continue to stunting, fetal growth abnormalities and others. During childbirth, pregnant women who experience anemia and SEZ are at risk of bleeding during childbirth and in the last ten years, bleeding has always coexisted with Preeclampsia in the top two contributors to the Maternal Mortality Rate in Indonesia. Stunting in toddlers is influenced by maternal nutritional history such as chronic energy deficiency (CED) and iron nutritional anemia (AGB). The nutritional status of the mother before and during pregnancy can affect fetal growth. If the mother's nutritional status is normal before and during pregnancy, it is likely that she will give birth to a healthy, full-term baby with normal weight. Poor fetal growth of pregnant women with SEZ will result in low birth weight (LBW) babies. A pregnant woman will give birth to a healthy baby if her health and nutrition levels are in good condition

Abstract

Analysis of the partner situation based on data from the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office found that the highest number of maternal deaths in 2021 was Tanah Laut Regency with 17 people and Banjar Regency with 16 people, while in 2022 the highest number of maternal deaths was Banjar Regency with 19 people (Hemorrhage: 1, Hypertension: 9, Covid: 1, and others: 8) and Banjarmasin Municipality with 14 people (Hemorrhage: 5, Hypertension: 2, Heart: 2, and others: 5). The cause of maternal death was Hypertension in pregnancy (32.4%), Postpartum hemorrhage (20.3%) and the period of death occurred in the Postpartum Period (48 hours after birth) by 61.6%. The high number of maternal, infant and child deaths is partly due to the delay factor (referring, arriving, getting adequate help). Some areas still have low coverage of maternal and child health programs. One of the causes is the low knowledge of mothers and families and not optimal utilization of the MCH book. Identification of partner problems from the results of the study revealed that most mothers' knowledge of the contents of the MCH book was still lacking because they did not read the book (did not have a MCH book: 19.2%, Have MCH book - can't show: 40.4% and have MCH book-can show: 40,4%). Priority efforts in reducing MMR in 2015-2019 include increasing the utilization of the MCH Book and implementing classes for pregnant women. The objective of community service is to be able to manage pregnant women's classes in an effort to increase the utilization of the MCH Book in the Working Area of Puskesmas Astambul, Banjar Regency. The solution offered is to increase knowledge and skills through the utilization of the MCH Book in the implementation of Maternity Classes to improve Maternal and Child Health in the Astambul Puskesmas Working Area of Banjar Regency. The contribution of Puskesmas Partners is as mentors, licensors, supporters and implementers of monitoring and evaluation of the sustainability of the Community Service Program. Targeted Mandatory Outputs The targeted mandatory output is the publication of the Community Service Journal “Journal of Independent Service” Target TS: Submit T+1: Accepted. Additional output is the target community service video for the year concerned. mThe target achievement of community service is an increase in the knowledge and skills of pregnant women about the implementation of pregnant women's classes for monitoring maternal and child health to 100%, and an increase in the utilization of the MCH Book to 100%.
