Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education has become increasingly relevant in the era of Industry 4.0 and the transition toward Society 5.0. This study aims to provide a bibliometric analysis of research trends, thematic clusters, and emerging keywords related to AI in education between 2018 and 2025. Using the Publish or Perish software and data from Google Scholar, 200 articles were selected based on relevance and citation metrics. Keyword co-occurrence analysis and visual mapping were conducted using VOSviewer to identify dominant research themes. The results reveal a growing body of literature focused on AI applications in education, with key topics including adaptive learning, machine learning, digital transformation, and human-centered innovation. However, critical gaps remain, particularly in research addressing cultural context, teacher readiness, digital equity, and the long-term impact of AI-driven tools. This study highlights the need for inclusive, ethical, and context-aware approaches to AI in education, offering insights and recommendations for future research aligned with the human-centric values of Society 5.0

Abstract

This research is motivated by the finding that indicate a low collaboration and critical thinking skills of students, allegedly caused by students tendency to be passive and only receive instructions during learning, the learning models used such as simple discussions with LKPD and presentation media that are less supportive do not provide optimal learning experiences. This research was conducted in Class X TJKT using a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through observation sheets and tests. The analysis of the research data employed an independent sample t-test. The results of the collaboration ability assessment revealed a thiut value of 19.507 with a significance level (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, indicating that the tcount value was greater than the ttable value of 1.667. Similarly, the analysis of students critical thinking ability yielded a tcount value of 6.025 with a significance level (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, confirming that the tcount value exceeded the ttable value of 1.667. Therefore, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The Problem-Based Learning model, assisted by Padlet, has a significant effect on students collaboration and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the intensity of social media use and students' digital literacy level's relationship. Along with the times, social media is an essential part that is inseparable in everyday life. It is crucial to understand how the use of social media affects students in accessing and utilizing social media in learning. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Correlational research in determining the two variables' relationship. The two variables to be tested are the intensity of social media use (X) and digital literacy (Y). Sampling using Cluster Random Sampling technique by taking 1 class totaling 32 students. The questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-4 used to collect data. There was a significant relationship between the intensity of social media use and students' digital literacy level with a correlation value of 0.778. The results show that the higher the level of intensity of students' social media use, their digital literacy skills. This study provides suggestions for a more in-depth digital literacy development program.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Android device utilization in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) learning on student learning outcomes in the Informatics Engineering Education program at STKIP Al-Maksum. A quasi-experimental design was employed to compare an experimental group, which used Android-based activities such as interface prototyping with Android Studio and Figma, with a control group that relied on traditional lecture-based methods. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments, questionnaires, observations, and interviews, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, linear regression, and thematic analysis. The findings indicate that the experimental group achieved an average improvement of 20.5 points (from 65.2 to 85.7), which was significantly higher than the 10.5-point increase observed in the control group (from 64.8 to 75.3). Independent t-test analysis confirmed a significant difference between groups (p < 0.001), while linear regression revealed that Android usage intensity predicted 45% of the variance in learning outcomes. Qualitative results further highlighted two key themes: interactive benefits (reported by 70% of participants) and technical challenges (30%). This study concludes that Android-based learning can significantly enhance HCI learning outcomes through interactive approaches, with technology training serving as an important supporting factor. However, technical challenges remain and should be addressed to ensure optimal implementation.

Abstract

Teachers play an essential role in conducting learning assessments; however, manual grade recording remains a challenge due to high administrative workloads and time constraints. These limitations often lead to inaccuracies and delays in academic data processing. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the practicality and effectiveness of an Android-based grade management application designed to support teachers in administering student assessments more efficiently. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Payakumbuh involving two practitioners and twenty subject teachers as respondents. Practicality data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of three assessed aspects: ease of use, flexibility, and features and functionality. The results showed that the application achieved an average practicality score of 89.17% based on practitioners’ responses and 84.50% based on subject teachers’ responses, both of which fall into the “very practical” category. These findings indicate that the application is easy to operate, accessible, and supportive of mobile-based administrative tasks. Furthermore, effectiveness was tested by comparing post-test results between a control group (manual grade entry) and an experimental group (using the application). Statistical analysis using an independent samples t-test demonstrated a significant difference in performance (p = 0.000 < 0.05), with the experimental group achieving a higher average score of 77.8 compared to 65.5 in the control group. This confirms that the Android-based application improves accuracy and efficiency in grade processing. In conclusion, the developed grade management application is both practical and effective, and it has strong potential to assist teachers in simplifying assessment administration through a fast, accurate.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires businesses to shift from manual systems to more efficient digital management. However, Mentuangin Coffee still runs sales processes and reports manually, making them prone to errors, delays in data processing, and difficulties in monitoring stock. This condition indicates the need for an integrated sales system that can support operational activities more accurately and structurally. This study aims to design and develop a sales application based on a Point of Sales (POS) system using the PHP programming language as a solution to automate transaction processes, inventory management, and sales reporting. The research methods used include needs analysis, an object-oriented approach, application implementation, and testing using the Black Box method to ensure all functions run according to specifications. The results show that the developed application is able to process transactions, improve recording accuracy, and generate reports in real time
