Abstract

Religious values are a fundamental aspect in education, especially in shaping children's character. Integration of Asmaul Husna values in education is expected to instill faith, sharia, and morals from an early age. This study aims to: (1) find out how the integration of Asmaul Husna values in daily activities at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard is carried out, and (2) analyze the impact of this integration on student behavior. This study uses a qualitative method with a field research approach. Informants in this study include the principal, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is obtained through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results of the study indicate that the Asmaul Husna values that are taught consistently have a positive impact on student behavior. Some of the values applied in daily activities include Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahiim (compassion), Al-Adl (justice), Al-Haliim (patience), As-Samii’ and Al-Bashiir (awareness of hearing and seeing), and Al-Afuww and Ar-Ra’uf (forgiveness and compassion). The impact of this integration includes increased emotional intelligence (EQ), social and cooperation skills, and better character development. Thus, the integration of Asmaul Husana values contributes to the formation of children’s characters who are more religious and have noble morals.

Abstract

This study investigates the semantic evolution of Generation Alpha's slang as reflected in the lyrics of Jelly House's YouTube song Last Rizzday Night. As a digital-native generation, Gen Alpha frequently reshapes language through their engagement with digital media. Analysing 15 slang terms, including "Rizz," "Skibidi," and "Sigma," the research examines how their meanings align with or diverge from standard dictionary definitions. Using a qualitative descriptive methodology, the study highlights linguistic shifts driven by digital culture, such as "Rizz" symbolizing charm and social success, and "Sigma" representing self-reliant confidence. The findings emphasize the role of contextual semantics in understanding generational language trends, offering insights for educators, content creators, and marketers aiming to connect with Gen Alpha effectively.

Technological developments in the digital era affect many aspects of life, including education. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is very important in learning in schools, so teachers' ICT competence needs to be considered. This research aims to understand the ICT competency of teachers in Elementary Schools in Lawe Bulan District, Southeast Aceh Regency, efforts to improve this competency, and the factors that influence teacher ICT capabilities.  This research uses qualitative methods with interviews, observation and documentation. Teachers' efforts to improve ICT competency showed that 15 respondents had good average results, while 60 people were in the "Very Good" category. These efforts include independent study, joint study, and ICT training.  The research results indicate that there is no relationship between teacher ICT competency and education level and length of service. However, there is a relationship between efforts to increase teachers' ICT competence and their competence. The involvement of ICT competence in planning, implementation and evaluation of learning is also evaluated, as well as factors inhibiting increasing teacher competence.

However, challenges such as knowledge gaps were observed. The study concludes that non-digital games, when designed to align with learning goals and engage students' interests, can effectively support language acquisition. The research encourages educators to experiment with non-digital gamification techniques and apply differentiated instruction strategies to enhance classroom outcomes.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMAN 4 Kota Bima. HOTS, which includes analytical, evaluative, and creative abilities, is expected to enhance students' critical, creative, and innovative thinking skills in the 21st century. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that key supporting factors for HOTS implementation include adequate infrastructure, teacher competence, and active student participation. However, challenges such as limited teacher understanding of HOTS, insufficient resources, and resistance to paradigm shifts in learning were identified. To optimize HOTS implementation, recommendations include improving teacher training, developing relevant curricula, and integrating educational technology and project-based assessments. The study concludes that, with proper support, HOTS can significantly improve the quality of learning and better prepare students to face global challenges. This research highlights the importance of HOTS in transforming PAI learning to meet the demands of the 21st century.
