Abstract

The success of women's empowerment programs is determined not only by program design but also by the quality of member participation and the stakeholder interventions that support the implementation process. This study aims to examine the dynamics of member participation and stakeholder interventions in optimizing the implementation of women's empowerment programs within the Ngudi Makmur and Bangun Sejahtera Women's Farmer Groups (Kelompok Wanita Tani/KWT). The study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, through data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. Analysis of the research findings refers to Sherry Arnstein’s theory of participation ladder to identify the level of member participation at each stage of the empowerment process, the classification of forms of stakeholder intervention that affect the quality of participation and Naila Kabeer's empowerment theory to see the extent to which member participation contributes to women's empowerment outcomes. The findings indicate that differences in the level of members' participation across the program stages (planning, implementation, benefit utilization, and evaluation) were shaped by varying stakeholder interventions between the two groups that impact the distribution and the quality of benefits received by group members. Furthermore, the results show that the empowerment process extended beyond enhancing individual capacities to strengthening collective capacities, enabling members to become empowerment agents for other community groups. These findings suggest that improving the quality of women's participation is a key factor in maximizing the effectiveness and sustainability of women's empowerment programs.

Abstract

This community service was motivated by the fact that some teachers, particularly those at the junior high school level, still do not understand how to develop teaching modules using the deep learning approach, thus requiring guidance for these teachers. The purpose of this guidance is to facilitate junior high school teachers in developing teaching modules using the deep learning approach, with the subject of guidance being teachers at SMP STMC 4245 Baleendah, Bandung. This guidance method was carried out through problem identification, socialization of the deep learning approach, discussions and practicums on developing teaching modules using the deep learning approach, evaluation and reflection. The results of the activity showed that the guidance went well and received a positive response from the participants, where 86% of teachers stated that they really enjoyed the activity, 11% stated that they enjoyed it, and 3% still needed further guidance. The evaluation results also showed an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in developing teaching modules based on Deep Learning, as indicated by an increase in posttest results compared to the pretest. Teachers were able to integrate the principles of mindful learning, meaningful learning, and joyful learning into teaching modules that were designed according to the characteristics of their respective subjects. Thus, the coaching activities have proven effective in improving teachers' competency in developing Deep Learning-based teaching modules, thereby supporting the implementation of more meaningful, active, and student-centered learning.

Abstract

Drug abuse in Indonesia should no longer be viewed solely as a criminal issue, but also as a health, social, psychological and humanitarian problem requiring comprehensive treatment. This community service activity aimed to improve public understanding regarding rehabilitation as a health-based approach for drug addicts and to strengthen awareness of restorative justice and social reintegration. The activity was conducted at Wisma Bhisma YAKITA, Ciawi Bogor, on May 23, 2026, involving drug addicts undergoing rehabilitation, former addicts in recovery, families, healthcare workers, counsellors, academics, students, and community members. The program applied a participatory educational method integrating health communication and health law approaches. The materials included rehabilitation law, restorative justice, therapeutic communication, community-based recovery, aftercare, and the 12 Steps Recovery Program. The implementation methods consisted of interactive lectures, group discussions, motivational counselling, psychosocial approaches, experience sharing, and case-based presentations. The results showed that participants initially viewed rehabilitation mainly as an alternative punishment rather than a comprehensive recovery process. After the program, participants demonstrated improved understanding regarding addiction as a chronic health condition requiring long-term recovery, empathetic communication, family support, and sustainable aftercare. The activity also highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration among families, healthcare workers, rehabilitation institutions, communities, and law enforcement agencies in creating a humane and justice-oriented rehabilitation system.

Abstract

The dominance of the younger generation correlates with high exposure of adolescents to the digital ecosystem (social media and e-commerce), which is saturated with promotions, influencers, and hidden advertisements. This increases the risk of impulsive purchases, fraud, and exposure to online lending/pay later services without adequate understanding. The community service program "Wise Online Shopping" is designed to improve digital literacy and basic financial literacy among junior high school students in Jakarta through an interactive educational approach that aligns with the characteristics of Gen Z/Alpha. The intervention is based on the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) framework, with the stimulus being exposure to critical material expected to change students' cognition, emotions, and attitudes, leading to a response of more reflective shopping decisions. The activity was conducted at SMP Negeri 8 Jakarta Pusat on Thursday, December, 11th, 2025 for students in grades VII–VIII (ages 12–14) using a one-group pre-post design with quantitative data (pretest–posttest questionnaires) and qualitative data (observation, written reflection, and group discussion). The material covers online transaction security, identifying advertisements/influencers, scam risks, the dangers of illegal online lending, and child protection aspects in electronic systems. The relevance of the legal aspect is reinforced by Law No. 1 of 2024, which emphasizes the obligation of Electronic System Operators to provide age limit information, child user verification, and abuse reporting mechanisms. The results showed an increase in post-intervention knowledge and a moderate decrease in impulsive buying tendencies, accompanied by increased caution toward influencers and rejection of online lending as a solution for consumption. This program is effective as an initial step for generation Z or Alpha but it requires repeated reinforcement through collaboration between schools, parents, and digital ecosystem policies.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in economic development; however, they face increasing challenges in making effective business decisions due to rapidly evolving market dynamics. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a strategic tool to enhance decision-making processes through data-driven insights. This study aims to analyze the effect of AI-based market analysis on decision-making quality and its impact on business performance among MSMEs in Purwakarta. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data from 165 MSME owners, analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that AI-based market analysis significantly improves decision-making quality (β = 0.66, p < 0.001), which subsequently enhances business performance (β = 0.61, p < 0.001). Furthermore, data readiness strengthens the effectiveness of AI utilization. These findings contribute to the literature on digital transformation and provide practical insights for MSMEs in adopting AI-driven strategies.

Abstract

The gap in access to education in Indonesia remains a serious problem, especially for low-income or poor families. To address this issue, the government launched Sekolah Rakyat Program, as a strategy for educational equality that emphasizes inclusiveness and social justice. This study analyzes the discourse on Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Pertama 9, Bandung Indonesia policy using Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), which encompasses three dimensions: text analysis, discursive practice, and social practice. Data was obtained through a documentary study of policy documents, online media coverage, and statements from school and government officials. The results show that in the text dimension, the use of diction such as free and digital-based education builds the image of a friendly and inclusive nation. In the discursive practice dimension, discourse is produced and disseminated by the government through the media to strengthen the positive political legitimacy of its results. In the social practice dimension, this program presents itself as a response to inequality and disparities in education while simultaneously creating a new social practice in the form of inclusive and dignified digital education in Indonesia. Critically, this study concludes that Sekolah Rakyat Program is not only an education policy, but also an instrument of ideological legitimacy and political hegemony, that shapes the narrative of a positive direction for educational equality in Indonesia.
