The techniques of data analyses were applied data reduction (data reduction), data description, discussion and drawing conclusion. The principle of capitalism that only seeks profit personal should not be practiced in the world of education. Rising demand of the education accesses will result in the high cost of education. Islamic education institution should not watch out for the jargon "poor people are forbidden". Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of academic supervision in improving the professional competence of teachers. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Collecting data using observation and interview techniques, then interview data were analyzed using manifest analysis. The results show that academic supervision carried out by school principals can help, guide, and motivate teachers in improving their professional abilities, especially in the process of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Through a systematic and well-planned supervision process, teachers are able to fully integrate and apply their various abilities in learning through input from peers. In addition, teachers can take lessons from reflection exercises which are a hallmark of teacher professionalism. Supervisors and teachers can also know and understand the importance of academic supervision for improving the professional competence of teachers and ultimately having an impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract

In education in Indonesia, teacher upgrading is carried out, especially discussing the learning system that is suitable for use in the classroom. Among the existing learning systems is the Cooperative Learning system. Cooperative Learning learning system is defined as a group learning activity organized by the principle that learning should be based on changes in social information among its members, and take responsibility for their own learning and be encouraged to improve the learning of other members. This research is to see the Differences in Students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes Using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) Method and the Expository Method. The research method uses experiments. Based on calculations and data analysis, this study has shown that there are differences in learning outcomes between the treated class (experimental) and the untreated class (control). This proves that the mathematics learning outcomes of students whose learning process uses the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) method are better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students whose learning process uses the expository method.

Abstract

The process of learning mathematics in the classroom is strongly influenced by the role of teachers and students as individuals who are directly involved in the learning process. As an intermediary, the teacher must know where the sources of information for certain knowledge are and regulate the mechanism for obtaining it if students need it at any time. Teachers often have difficulty in carrying out mathematics learning, especially in the material of building space. Students find it difficult to understand concepts in spatial structure, so they seem confused in solving problems related to spatial structure, for example in the form of story questions. In addition, teachers are often confused in determining learning methods so that students can understand the material presented. This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of mathematics using the Guide Note Taking method. This research was conducted in the Even Semester. The variables in this study consist of one independent variable and one dependent variable. The mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Guide Note Taking method were considered good. The mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using the guide note taking method were good and satisfying.

Abstract

Enforcement of online learning requires teachers to be able to use information technology to conduct online learning. It was found in online learning that some students were less enthusiastic about paying attention to the teacher's explanation, did not answer the teacher's questions, and were less active in expressing opinions. So, we need a learning innovation so that students feel comfortable and happy to learn and do not rule out the material that must be mastered by students with the Make a Match learning model assisted by the Worldwall application. The purpose of the study was to describe the effectiveness of the Make a Match cooperative model assisted by the Worldwall Application on ASEAN materials to improve critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The type of research used is a learning tool developed and made using the Make a Match Cooperative type which is supported by the Worldwall Application in ASEAN Materials at SDN Banjarsugihan II/117 Surabaya. The results of the responses of class VI B students to the Make a Match Type learning device with the help of Worldwall Applications with Cooperatives showed a positive response to improve students' critical thinking skills and provide a good understanding of the material being taught with a percentage of 89%. Teachers are also active in motivating and assisting students in providing reinforcement and responding to student work with the aim of making it easier for students to understand and solve problems regarding fractions so that they can be used as alternatives in learning ASEAN material. Abstract

The paper investigated and analysed the various factors assumed to be responsible for falling quality of education and the necessary data were collected from university students whom were asked relevant questions. Students expressed dissatisfaction on the semester system and BS program. BS program has killed the students because they are bogged down in the vicious circle of plethora of courses which not only affect their health but also their academic performance. MPhil and PhD admissions are reduced to minimum in the light of demand and supply to avert future problems. The most deplorable aspect is TTS which is supposed to have done more harm and damage to the national exchequer than alleged good. Lecturers in universities enjoy the lucrative BPS-18 scale while doctors, engineers, civil servants are inducted in BPS-17. Step-motherly treatment of other civil servants will certainly add to bad blood. TTS and induction in BPS-18 as lecturer must be stopped once for all. Lack of job opportunities and rapid population growth are potential factors responsible for falling standard of education. When students are aware that their hard labour will not bear fruit, they lose interest in working hard. Social media has added fuel to the fire.

Abstract

Mathematics is a branch of science that has an important role in the development of science and technology. Students at the elementary school level have a lack of understanding of the material presented, causing learning outcomes to be not optimal and do not achieve complete learning. The purpose of this research is to measure the ability of quick calculation ability on students' metacognitive used wordwall media in class III students at SDN Manukan Kulon Surabaya. The research design used descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were class III students taken with the Purposive Sampling Technique in accordance with the criteria set by the researcher. The results showed that the wordwall media can help students in working on metacognitive ability test questions effectively with a score range of 1642-504 and students are helped in working on test questions with the wordwall media. This is because there are 3 subjects that have categories of metacognitive levels of Reflective Use, Strategic Use and Aware Use.
