Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand equity and QRIS-based payment systems on purchasing decisions at FLOC.CO and Eatery in Medan. Brand equity is studied through the dimensions of brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty. The QRIS-based payment system is identified as a factor that can influence purchasing decisions in the food and beverage business context. The research method used is a survey with data collection through questionnaires distributed to consumers who have shopped at FLOC.CO and Eatery. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. Therefore, the author will use statistical data processing to obtain accurate or definite results that can be systematically explained. The sample in this study is 66 people. The technique used for sampling in this study is accidental sampling. The obtained data were analyzed with statistical acquisitions using multiple linear regression analysis and partial regression tests managed using the SPSS V.20 program, 2024. The results of the data management show that Brand Equity and QRIS-based Payment Method have a contribution to the Purchase Decision. This is indicated by the regression test results showing that the regression coefficient value is positive with a value of b = 0.736. This means that if there is an increase in the value of variable X1 by one point, it will influence the purchase decision value by 0.736, assuming that other independent variables have a value of 0 or constant, and Brand Equity has contributed to influencing the purchase decision by 7.3%. Meanwhile, the QRIS-based Payment System regression test shows that the regression coefficient value is positive with a value of b = 0.249. This means that if there is an increase in the value of variable X2 by one point, it will influence the purchase decision value by 0.249, assuming that other independent variables have a value of 0 or constant, and the QRIS-based Payment System has contributed to influencing the purchase decision by 2.4%. Moreover, the t-value (16.220) > t-table (1.997) and Sig (0.000) < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, meaning that Brand Equity has a partial positive and significant effect on the purchasing decision of FLOC.CO and Eatery. And for the QRIS-based Payment System, it has a t-value (5.200) > t-table (1.997) and Sig (0.000) > 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the QRIS-based Payment System has a partial positive and significant effect on the purchasing decision of FLOC.CO and Eatery.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and analyze the effect of partial profitability on company value, to test and analyze the effect of dividend policy partially on company value, to test and analyze the effect of partial debt policy on company value and to test and analyze the effect of profitability, dividend policy and debt policy simultaneously on company value in Food and Beverage Sub-Sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2019-2023. The population in this study was 24 companies in the Food and Beverage Sub Sector listed on the IDX and the sample from research on Food and Beverage Sub Sector Companies was 8 companies with 5 years of observation. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation. The analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistics, Multiple Linear Regression analysis, Partial Test, Determinant Test. The research results show that partially Profitability has a positive and significant effect on Company Value, partially Dividend Policy has no effect on Company Value, partially Debt Policy has a positive and significant effect on Company Value and simultaneously shows that Profitability, Dividend Policy and Debt Policy have a significant effect on Company Value in Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2019-2023.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana anime One Piece memanfaatkan elemen visual untuk menyampaikan emosi kepada penonton melalui pendekatan semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Fokus penelitian terletak pada delapan emosi utama yang muncul dalam anime, yaitu amarah, kesedihan, kebahagiaan, ketakutan, cinta, terkejut, jengkel, dan rasa malu. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengamati adegan-adegan yang merepresentasikan emosi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa elemen visual seperti warna, ekspresi wajah, gerakan tubuh, simbol, dan pencahayaan berperan penting dalam menyampaikan emosi karakter. Sebagai contoh, amarah divisualisasikan dengan dominasi warna merah dan tindakan impulsif, sedangkan kesedihan digambarkan melalui warna gelap dan adegan bernuansa reflektif. Kebahagiaan muncul dengan penggunaan warna cerah dan momen simbolis, sementara ketakutan disampaikan melalui pencahayaan gelap dan suasana yang mencekam. Emosi lain, seperti cinta, kejutan, jengkel, dan rasa malu, juga divisualisasikan dengan detail yang mendalam, memperkaya karakterisasi. Secara keseluruhan, One Piece tidak hanya menjadi tontonan yang menghibur, tetapi juga media komunikasi visual yang efektif dalam menyampaikan emosi, membangun hubungan emosional yang kuat antara penonton dan karakter.

Abstract

Marriage dispensation is defined as an exemption from a duty or prohibition for men and women who have not met the requirements to marry, in the form of permission granted by the Religious Court to prospective brides who have not yet reached the age of 19 (nineteen) years and submit a dispensation request in accordance with Article 7, paragraph (2) of Law Number 16 of 2019. This research uses a normative juridical method, which means the research is based on an examination referring to and based on norms, legislation, legal theories and doctrines, court decisions, and other relevant literature related to the topic discussed in this research. The research was conducted using a qualitative method, specifically through data collection in the form of literature review. Factors contributing to early marriage include economic factors, premarital pregnancy, educational factors, parental factors, mass media and internet factors, family traditions, and cultural factors. In case number 17/Pdt.PA/2024/PA.Bjl, the judge decided to grant the request of Petitioner I and Petitioner II. This was based on evidence submitted to the Binjai Religious Court. One of the reasons for granting the dispensation was that Petitioner I and Petitioner II’s child had been living together like husband and wife and had been pregnant for three months. Both parents agreed and approved of the marriage. Marriage dispensation for minors is regulated in Article 7, paragraphs 1 and 2 of Law Number 16 of 2019. Dispensation, as referred to in Law Number 16 of 2019, means a deviation from the minimum marriage age limit set by the law, which is at least 19 (nineteen) years for both men and women.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of operating capacity, sales growth, and firm size on financial distress in mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with a quantitative approach. The results of the study show that operating capacity has a negative and significant effect on financial distress, which indicates that operational efficiency contributes to reducing the level of financial pressure of the company. Meanwhile, sales growth has a positive but insignificant influence, showing that sales growth does not necessarily play a direct role in reducing the risk of financial distress. On the other hand, firm size has a positive and significant effect on financial distress, suggesting that large-scale companies are more susceptible to financial pressure, likely due to operational complexity and higher financial burdens. These findings provide important implications for company management in formulating efficiency strategies and more adaptive organizational structures to reduce potential financial distress risks in the mining sector

Abstract

Stunting is a health problem that is still a major challenge in Indonesia, including in Sei Tualang Raso District, Tanjungbalai City. Health centers as health service institutions have an important role in preventing and overcoming stunting, one of which is through interpersonal communication between health workers and the community. This study aims to analyze the interpersonal communication strategies implemented by health workers at health centers in overcoming stunting in Sei Tualang Raso District. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with health workers, as well as observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that effective interpersonal communication, based on an empathetic, educational, and persuasive approach, is the key to increasing public awareness of stunting prevention. Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang masih menjadi tantangan besar di Indonesia, termasuk di Kecamatan Sei Tualang Raso, Kota Tanjungbalai. Puskesmas sebagai lembaga pelayanan kesehatan memiliki peran penting dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting, salah satunya melalui komunikasi interpersonal antara tenaga kesehatan dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi interpersonal yang diterapkan oleh tenaga kesehatan Puskesmas dalam menanggulangi stunting di Kecamatan Sei Tualang Raso. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tenaga kesehatan, serta observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif, berbasis pendekatan empatik, edukatif, dan persuasif, menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of occupational Stress and leadership on employee performance at PT Bank Sumut Sukaramai Medan Branch. The type of data in this study is associative. The population in this study was all employees of PT Bank Sumut branch Sukaramai Medan as much as 35 people. Data retrieval technique in the form of dissemination questionnaire to office employees at PT Bank Sumut branch Sukaramai Medan. Data analysis using the validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, hypothesis test, statistical test using multiple linear analysis models using multiple linear analysis models and determination tests T test results can be seen that T count on a working stress variable of-1,752 is greater than t table of 1,689 with a probability of t that is sig 0089. Based on these values then the working stress variable has no positive and insignificant effect on the performance variable and the value of the leadership count of 6,649 is greater than t table of 1,689 with sig level 0.000 is smaller than the limit Significance of 0.005, then the leadership variables partially have a positive and significant influence on the performance variables. Based on the F test result, the Fcalculate value of 25,784 is greater than the Ftabel of 3.17, meaning that working stress and leadership simultaneously positively and significantly affect the performance variables. The value of Asjusted R Square obtained is 0.593. The figure shows that 59.3% of performance (bound variables) can be explained by work stress and leadership. The remaining 30.7% is influenced by other factors not described in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of brand image partially on purchasing decisions, to determine and analyze the influence of product quality partially on purchasing decisions and to determine and analyze the influence of brand image and product quality simultaneously on purchasing decisions for iPhone Smartphones in Kota Juang. The population in this study was the community in Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, totaling 53,913 people. The sample in the study was 100 samples. The data collection technique used in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression, partial test (t-test), simultaneous significance test (F-test) and coefficient of determination. The results showed that there was a partial influence of brand image on purchasing decisions, there was a partial influence of product quality on purchasing decisions and there was an influence of brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions for iPhone Smartphones in Kota Juang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of menu variants on purchasing decisions, to find out the influence of menu variants on purchasing decisions, to find out the influence of digital marketing on purchasing decisions and to find out the influence of menu variants, store atmosphere and digital marketing on Fried purchasing decisions at Hisana Chicken. The population in this study was 100 people who purchased Hisana Fried Chicken Jl Karya, Gg Sehati No. 12. The sample in the research was 100 people obtained using saturated samples. The data collection technique used in this research was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analysis techniques used in this research are multiple linear regression, partial test (t test), simultaneous significance test (F test) and coefficient of determination. The research results show that menu variants have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, store atmosphere has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, digital marketing has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions and menu variants, store atmosphere and digital marketing simultaneously influence Fried purchasing decisions at Hisana Chiken.

Abstract

The current trend society tends to be interested in buying second-hand shoes for their needs because the prices are affordable and of good quality. However, consumers are not only looking for cheap prices, but also the suitability between the price and quality of shoes (branded) which are cheaper than new shoes. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of price and product quality on purchasing decisions for second-hand shoes on the TPO Tax of Tanjung Balai City. The type of quantitative research with an associative design. The population is consumers who shop for second-hand shoes is not known for sure due to limited data. The number of samples refers to the Lemeshow formula of 97 people with a purposive sampling technique. The data comes from primary data and the data collection process uses a Likert-scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed using a statistical model consisting of validity tests, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the study that partially there is an influence of price and product quality on purchasing decisions with each t-count value (2.854 and 7.716) greater than t-table (1.985) and a significance level (0.005 and 0.000) less than 0.05. The F count value > F table (58.319>3.090) was obtained with a significance level (0.000 <0.05), so the hypothesis is accepted, simultaneously price and product quality have a significant influence on purchasing decisions.
