Abstract

Kampung Batik Kamboja is a tourist village consisting of a community of people fostered by the Pontianak City government to produce various textile crafts. Previously, the production activities carried out were limited to batik products and still used synthetic materials and dyes; this is what underlies the need for assistance related to eco-friendly product innovation. This collaborative assistance has been carried out since 2020. It aims to solve production problems experienced by craftsmen and develop the diversification of products made from natural raw materials to become the hallmark of Kampung Batik Kamboja. Training and assistance that have been carried out include making natural dyes, coloring with shibori, and making textile motifs using eco-print pounding and leaf printing techniques. This assistance succeeded in increasing knowledge and encouraging the community to innovate to produce various environmentally friendly textile products so that they have the potential to increase the community's economy through community-based creative industries.

Abstract

The incidence of short toddlers or stunting is one of the nutritional problems experienced by toddlers in the world today. Based on the results of the 2021 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI), the prevalence rate of stunting in Indonesia is 24.4%. One of the government's strategies in Peraturan Presiden Nomor 72 Tahun 2021 to reduce stunting rates is improving parenting. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of toddler mothers in realizing optimal toddler growth and development and preventing stunting events. The method used is the provision of education with lecture, discussion and simulation methods. The target of the activity is mothers who have toddlers aged 0–5 years. The counseling was carried out on March 29, 2022 at the Posyandu Kelurahan Tanjung Uma. The result of this community service is an increase in knowledge and understanding in toddler mothers about exclusive breastfeeding, increasing maternal knowledge in giving complementary foods and nutrition to toddlers and stunting, improving mothers' ability to monitor growth and carrying out developmental stimulation. The conclusion of this community service is that the toddler mother class can be applied as an effort to prevent stunting in toddlers.

Abstract

One of the impacts of the Covid 19 pandemic is many people lose their jobs. Providing quail breeding training is one solution to getting a new job or business. Quail is a small poultry that can be raised in an urban area. However, the quail manure needs to be handled properly to prevent environmental problems. One of the solutions is to utilize organic phenolic compounds made from coconut waste, mixed in quail feed. Organic phenol solution is an innovation with the function of one of which is to improve the performance of quails. The feed nutrients consumed by quails can be absorbed more completely by using liquid organic phenol so that the odor from the waste produced will also be reduced and quail production performance can be optimal. The method used is the presentation of training materials, discussions, filling out surveys, as well as participatory activities from participants through direct practice of quail cultivation. After this training, there is an increase in public insight into handling waste from quail farming, as well as an increasing desire of the community to do quail farming. It can become a source of income or new jobs for the people of Cihideung Udik Village.

Abstract

The programme to increase the effectiveness of the anemia prevention program in pregnant women is an effort to empower the community, namely health cadres to increase the scope of the program for giving iron tablets to pregnant women. Empowerment of health cadres through training and health education to increase the ability to persuade pregnant women to want and comply with taking blood-added tablets as recommended can help increase the scope of the program for giving blood-added tablets to pregnant women. The purpose of this programme is to train health cadres and health workers to carry out persuasive communication to pregnant women to want and obediently take blood-added tablets (empowered cadres). The method that will be used is persuasive communication training for health cadres through interactive lectures and discussions, video screenings and exercise simulations. This activity was carried out for 1 day and took place at the Panjang City Health Center in Bandar Lampung. The participants were 30 people who were health cadres, health workers and pregnant women. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of the programme found that there was an increase in participants' understanding as much as 90% became a good understanding, 10% of participants had a fairly good understanding, and none of the participants had a poor understanding of anemia in pregnancy, prevention of anemia in pregnancy, persuasive communication to pregnant women so willing and obedient in taking blood-added tablets. The average pretest result was 55.1 and an increase in the posttest result was 83.7. Based on the analysis using the Wilcoxon test, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in the pretest and posttest scores of the service participants (p=0.000). This programme to increase the effectiveness of the anemia prevention program in pregnant women has proven to be effective.

Abstract

In today's human life, presumably almost depend on electricity. Some of the things that arise if there is a disturbance in electricity, among others, there is no lighting resulting in darkness at night. Electrical installation installation standards have been regulated in the General Electrical Installation Requirements. Apart from matters relating to the security of the electrical installation network, there are other things that we must pay attention to. This is the standard intensity of illumination. The intensity of room lighting is determined in lux units. The amount of room lighting intensity has been regulated in SNI 03-6575-2001. If the lighting intensity in a room is inadequate, it will cause impaired vision problems. The purpose of this activity is to ensure that the lighting installation meets the standards for both installation safety and lighting intensity. The methods of these activities are lectures, counting and reinstalling lighting installations at the Islamic boarding school. is to calculate the amount of safety, conductor, component specifications, and component layout. In addition, the capacity and number of lamp requirements for each room are calculated. The re-installation is carried out by replacing all electrical networks using standard quality components and installing light points as needed. The conclusion of these activities is that after carrying out these activities the installation becomes safe and the lighting of each room is as needed

Abstract

Fish farming activities are the main contributor to the fisheries sector in the coming period by observing the declining trend of marine catches in Maluku. The most widely cultivated fish commodity in Tual City is grouper. PKM partners are grouper cultivators in floating net cages (KJA). During the grouper rearing process, the feed used is trash fish feed from daily catches in nature with the nutritional composition of trash fish being unstable because it depends on the type of fish caught. This is a problem because the availability of feed and feed nutrition is very important for increasing grouper productivity. The stages of the activities carried out, namely socialization, training in making moist pellets, training in handling pests and diseases of fish and monitoring evaluation. From the results of making moist pellets it turns out to be effective enough to be given to groupers. The process of making moist pellets is quite easy by paying attention to the order of weighing the ingredients from the small to the large number of scales. The resulting moist pellets are in a round shape and are adapted to the mouth openings of the groupers that are reared. The behavior of the groupers that were given the moist pellets wanted to eat and was quite responsive because the texture of the moist pellets was soft, the fish had a characteristic odor and was mushy and given until the groupers were full.

Abstract

Teratai is one of the villages located in Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency and is in the middle of the city, with diverse residents' livelihoods. Almost all housewives and young women have a hobby of farming around the plot of the house. The resulting plants can be used as a support in meeting the needs of daily life, so as to realize food independence in the family. One alternative is a mixture of planting media is sugarcane bagasse. Sugarcane bagasse contains 52.67% water, 55.89% C-organic, N-total 0.25%, 0.16% P2O5, and 0.38% K2O. The method of activity is in the form of counseling with the aim of introducing bagasse / bagasse which can be used as an alternative mixture of planting media in the plots and the contents contained therein. The results of the activity do not yet know that bagasse / bagasse can be an alternative mixture of media and only know if bagasse contains sugar, and is very good as a compost mixture.

Abstract

The lotus village is located in Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency, Jambi Province. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the people in Teratai Village also felt panic and anxiety. One of the efforts to overcome this epidemic is by continuing to maintain stamina to stay healthy, one of which is by utilizing ginger-based drinks. Ginger contains bioactives that can function as antioxidants with the active ingredient zingeron which is very beneficial for health. This Community Service aims to introduce various processed drinks with ginger-based ingredients, to help foster interest in home-based businesses that use ginger as a base, as well as provide direction regarding the marketing of home business products during a pandemic. The extension method is carried out to introduce to the public about various preparations with the basic ingredients of ginger. Apart from ginger, it turns out that ginger can be made for Andrek drinks, Ronde, sekoteng and many more. Questionnaire results from 21 respondents showed that the people of Teratai Village were in an effort to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic by always maintaining their health. A business that has been passed down from generation to generation and is still being carried out by making ginger based drinks. However, due to the limitations of knowledge and information, the public only knows ginger, which is a ginger-based product.

Abstract

Computer technology is very helpful for human tasks and has become an important need in everyday life. Computer technology has developed so rapidly that each student have to master it to make reporting easier.one of the programs software from windows is Microsoft office visio to create various diagrams such as flowcharts, block diagrams and data flow diagrams quickly for various reports. various diagrams such as flowcharts, block diagrams and data flow diagrams quickly for various reports.. So it is necessary to equip these students with the Visio program. This is the background to the need for Community Service with the title "Visio Training at the Dirghantara Aviation Vocational High School." The purpose of this Community Service activity is for students to be able to draw techniques using computers to support their activities. The method used in this activity was to provide theoretical material about office visio and continued with office visio training to grade 10 students at the Dirghantara Aviation Vocational High School. The discussion of the training included students being given office visio materials related to usability, tools in the program and image editing. Then students are given a problem making technical drawings about electrical networks to practice the Visio program. The conclusion of this activity is that all students can understand and use the Visio program well. As well as the Visio program is very useful to support their activities, especially when later making reports on field work practices.

Abstract

The trolley equipment that is typically used in malls or stores cannot be folded or bent to take up enough space for you to move it anyplace. Because using Solidworks software, the goal of this research is to develop a collapsible trolley. The Von Misses stress test was used to test folding and general purpose trolley frames for loads of 35 kgf, 245 kgf, and 875 kgf. According to the findings at a weight of 35 kgf, typical goods carts have a greater Von Misses stress of 796.6e+008N/m2. A regular goods trolley's high Von Misses stress is 7966e+009N/m2 at a weight of 245 kgf. On conventional goods trolleys, the Von Misses stress reaches 962.4e+009N/m2 at the maximal load, which is 875 kgf. Because folding trolleys use hollow iron, which is lighter, it follows that standard goods trolleys have a higher strength than folding trolleys, albeit folding trolleys are considerably more effective.
