Abstract

Industry demand for skilled human resources presents a challenge for every school graduate to conduct various competency and skills training. So, the solution to meet industry challenges is a training on the application of science and technology for the community entitled "Introduction to the Raspberry Pi Electronic Components for Students in Kembangan Utara". The final output of this activity is to provide training and counseling on the Raspberry Pi module, in this case the design of a simple Water Irrigation system, using a water level detector as input information that will be processed and processed by the Raspberry Pi. The results of this community service activity were that students were introduced to a mini computer device called the Raspberry Pi and its application.

Abstract

The application of social distancing or self-quarantine at home in reducing the pandemic causes people to stay at home every day. On the one hand, the application of social distancing has a positive impact on the health sector in reducing the spread of the corona virus, but in the economic field it makes it difficult for people to work and earn income. Socially, there are domestic problems with increasing cases of Domestic Violence (KDRT). So in this writing there are several problems and objectives in this study, namely the increase in domestic violence (KDRT) as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, as an effort to overcome the increase in domestic violence during the pandemic. The research method is to use empirical legal research methods. The impact of increasing domestic violence with the presence of covid due to lack of faith and patience, inadequate financial conditions, unstable economy, perpetrators and victims being in one house (being laid off) have resulted in increased violence, both physical, psychological or neglect of the family, as well as a patriarchal culture . So to overcome this, an increase in faith and devotion, legal counseling for the community, an increase in synergy integrated services for each related agency was carried out.

Abstract

Technology is one of the developments in education in the world, including in utilizing technology in the world of education. Senior high school national exams and their equivalents make use of technology in their implementation. however, the use of technology has not been mastered by students in Indonesia. it is necessary to carry out a simulation in facing the national exam. This community service provides facilities for partners in conducting trials to take the national exam. multimedia applications provide an interactive effect between students and computers. which makes it easier for students to understand the meaning of the questions given on the exam.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing the community partnership program at SDN Wedi Gedangan is training in the Covid 19 pandemic support system through the use of the smart psychological test application and the design of an inclusive smart bag design to solve problems in partner schools. This is a manifestation of the Tri Dharma of higher education organized by Sidoarjo Muhammadiyah University. Some of the things that are being done are a series of activities to support the system for the inclusion program that is currently running at the school. In the first part we explain about a prototype Smart Survival Bag Inclusion which is still an initial design. The design of this bag is equipped with a barcode which has the function of helping other people in the vicinity to provide assistance if inclusive students need it, starting from the home address menu, the telephone contact menu that can be contacted, a GPS tracking device that can be installed on an Android cellphone, so that parents are not again has a heavy burden to teach their children to be independent when outside the home. The bag is also designed to have a seat that can be folded on the back of the bag. In the second session we explained the support system that can be used to carry out psychological tests on new students, both inclusion and regular through an online application during the Covid pandemic, which required everything to be systemized online, from registration to testing new students later. the application of using this application is quite easy for teachers to map students' IQs, so that potential students can be identified earlier, and this application can be accessed online and can be configured on the school's website later.

Abstract

Informal sector workers are workers who are most vulnerable to various risks that cause health problems. Health and safety issues related to their work can interfere with their productivity. Tapis craftsmen in the Negeri Katon Village,Pesawaran Regency, Lampung is part of the Tapis Jejama UMKM. Based on interviews with the UMKM coordinator, it was found that the craftsmen complained of back, neck, arm, and hand pain and symptoms of anemia. This interferes with the productivity of Tapis craftsmen. This service aims to improve the occupational health status of filter craftsmen in Negeri Katon Village to support work productivity in both health and economic aspects. The benefits of this activity are to reduce the incidence of anemia, musculoskeletal pain and help strengthen Negeri Katon Village as a Creative Tourism Village. The activity was carried out with a target of 30 tapis craftsmen. The solutions offered are occupational health services for tapis craftsmen, health education about ergonomics, occupational nutrition, and the stretching benefits. The results obtained that 100% of workers complained of musculoskeletal pain, as many as 5 people (8.3%) got hypertension and as many as 12 people (40%) got anemia. Before education, the knowledge of filter craftsmen about health risks in their work was 68% and after education is carried out, there is an increase of 97%. This activity needs to be carried out with the establishment of the Pos Upaya Kesehatan Kerja (UKK) as an effort to maintain the health of tapis craftsmen in Negeri Katon Village, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung.

Abstract

This Community Service activity is carried out in the form of training for village cadres in using Microsoft Office software in utilizing information technology at this time. This training material was delivered to the community members in Dadimulyo Village, Kisaran Barat District, Kab. Asahan, which amounted to approximately 30 people. This service activity was carried out using lectures, demonstrations, and exercises accompanied by questions and answers. The lecture method is used to explain the introductory concept of the introduction of Microsoft Office software as one of the media in facilitating human work. The demonstration method is used to show a work process, namely the stages of introducing the tools that exist in Microsoft Office software and knowing each of their functions, while the training method is to practice directly using the application. While the question and answer method are to allows participants to consult to overcome obstacles in understanding the material that has been obtained. The final result of this activity is expected to provide knowledge to Dadimulyo village cadres regarding the use of Ms. Office, especially Ms. Word in the process of making reports to the village head.

Abstract

Students who will attend community service program often experience psychological disorders, such as worry and anxiety. This community service project aims to lowering the worry and anxieties of students who will carry out community service program. The target of this activity is students of the sixth semester of undergraduate programs at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Syiah kuala. The activity was carried out within 90 minutes by online method in 64 students. Interactive discussions were conducted after participants were briefed about self-efficacy and empathy behavior, as well as self-talk activities as interventions to lowering worry and anxiety. Evaluation is done by providing opportunities for participants to self-reflection and dissemination of satisfaction level questionnaires through google form. As a result, after an interactive discussion, students said worry and anxiety were reduced and made self-talk as an effort to lowering worry and anxiety. The satisfaction poll showed 64% of participants were very satisfied and 36% were satisfied with this activity. In conclusion, interactive discussions are beneficial for lowering worry and anxiety. Recommendations, increased satisfaction of participants can be improved by face-to-face methods.

Abstract

The problem with UPR Dian Farm is that water fleas are not available independently, causing a low survival rate of gouramy seeds (30–40%). Cow dung contains nutrients N and P, which can promote the growth of phytoplankton and bacteria, both of which serve as food sources for water fleas. Cow dung waste around the target partner location has not been optimally utilized as a medium for growing water fleas. The purpose of the service activity is to ensure that the target partners are able to produce water fleas independently, increasing the growth and survival of the carp seeds that are kept. The service method is in the form of lectures and discussions, as well as training. The results of service activities are able to increase the knowledge and skills of the target partners. The results of the test on cow dung that was fermented for 7 days showed the elemental content of C-organic = 13.31%, total N = 0.46%, P = 0.77%, and K = 0.30%. The results of the proximate analysis of water fleas obtained a protein content of 4.90%, fat of 42.10%, fiber of 4.85%, water of 96.64%, and ash of 2.22%. Water fleas given to gouramy seeds increased the absolute length of the seeds by 3.6 cm, with a relative growth rate of 0.12%/day. The absolute weight growth of gouramy seeds was 1.38 grams, with a relative weight growth rate of 0.046 %/day. The survival rate of gouramy seeds increased by up to 77%.

Abstract

Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency, has grown to become one of the centers of oranges production in Jambi Province. In general, oranges farmers in Gunung Raya District, use inorganic fertilizers continuously for a long period of time, so that it can cause soil fertility to be disturbed. Counseling on the use of organic and inorganic fertilizers on oranges plants needs to be carried out so that the availability of complete and balanced nutrients in farmland can be maintained, the productivity of oranges did not decrease. With the implementation of this activity, it was hoped that the knowledge of farmers about balanced fertilization on oranges plants and applying it to their farms could increase the production of oranges in Gunung Raya District.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, people began to take better care of their health by consuming nutritious food. Cookies are one of the most popular types of snacks wich we can easily to find it wherever and whenever now. There are many kinds of cookies sells in the market by offering flavors and variants, but no one has offered cookies by adding animal ingredients and fiber that can increase the nutritional content for their product. One of the ingredients that can be added in making cookies is chicken claws and moringa leaves which are made into flour before. The addition of chicken claws flour and moringa leaves is expected to increase the selling value and can utilize local food from underutilized ingredients but have high nutritional content such as protein, calcium and antioxidants. The research products in the form of claw cookies and moringa leaves have been tested in the IPB laboratory and tested organoleptically on semi-trained panelists. In addition, "celor cookies" were also distributed to local residents as a form of community service. Community service activities are also carried out through educational webinars on the use of claws and moringa leaves which include hundreds of participants and are assisted by several students.
