Abstract

Tanjung Solok memiliki perairan estuaria dengan dasar pantai yang landai dan memiliki substrat berlumpur yang menjadikan daerah Tanjung Solok sebagai salah satu sentra dalam penangkapan udang. Salah satu alat tangkap yang digunakan untuk penangkapan udang di Kelurahan Tanjung Solok adalah alat tangkap sondong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil tangkapan dan komposisi udang menggunakan alat tangkap sondong dengan ukuran mata jaring yang berbeda di Kelurahan Tanjung Solok. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 November sampai 18 Desember 2020 bertempat di Kelurahan Tanjung Solok Kecamatan Kuala Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Teknik penentuan lokasi menggunakan metode purposive sampling sedangkan penentuan responden diambil masing-masing satu nelayan (ukuran mata jaring 1 inchi diambil satu nelayan dan ukuran mata jaring 1 ¼ inchi satu nelayan) dengan frekuensi pengambilan data sebanyak 16 kali penangkapan pada setiap ukuran mata jaring yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tangkapan sondong selama 16 kali penangkapan ukuran mata jaring 1 inchi memperoleh jumlah tangkapan sebanyak 36.166 ekor dengan bobot sebesar 340,80 Kg sedangkan ukuran mata jaring 1 ¼ inchi memperoleh hasil tangkapan sebanyak 28.795 ekor dengan bobot sebesar 271,10 Kg. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil tangkapan udang menggunakan alat tangkap sondong ukuran mata jaring 1 inchi lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan ukuran mata jaring 1 ¼ inchi. Komposisi jumlah jenis dan bobot udang pada ukuran mata jaring yang didapat berbeda nyata.  Kata Kunci: Tanjung Solok, Udang, Sondong, Ukuran mata jaring ABSTRACTTanjung Solok has estuary waters with a sloping beach base and has a muddy substrate which makes the Tanjung Solok area one of the centers for shrimp catching. One of the fishing gear used to catch shrimp in Tanjung Solok Village is the sondong fishing gear. This study aims to compare the catch and composition of shrimp using fishing gear of sondong with different mesh sizes in Tanjung Solok Village. This research was conducted on 24 November to 18 December 2020 at the Tanjung Solok Village, Kuala Jambi District. The research method used is a survey method. The technique of determining the location uses the purposive sampling method, while the respondent is taken from one fisherman each (1 inch mesh size is taken by one fisherman and the mesh size is 1 ¼ inch for one fisherman) with data frequency of 16 catches on each different mesh size. The results showed that the catch of sondong for 16 times the catch of 1 inch mesh obtained 36,166 fishes with a weight of 340.80 kg, while the size of the mesh 1 ¼ inch resulted in a catch of 28,795 fish with a weight of 271.10 kg. Based on this research, it can be neglected that the catch of shrimp using a fishing gear is 1 inch more than the mesh size of 1 ¼ inch. The composition of the number of species and the weight of shrimp in the mesh sizes obtained was significantly different. Keywords: Tanjung Solok, Shrimp, Sondong, Mesh Size

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of lamp color on the catch of lift net at Kerinci Lake. This research was conducted at Kerinci Lake, Kerinci Regency on June 4 - July 4 2020. The research method used was experimental fishing method and data analysis used in this study was statistical analysis completely randomized design.  The results showed the number of catches and the weight of the fish catch by using lift net with a fishing aid in the form of different lights, the results have a very significant effect on the number of catches. The average length of the catch of fish using lift net with the fishing aid in the form of different lights has no significant effect on the average length of the catch. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the effect of light color on fish catches with lift net in Kerinci Lake, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province obtained the highest yields and total weight of the catch in blue lights rather than white and red lights and for the length per fish. The catch is relatively the same length.Keywords: Influence, Light Color, Lift NetABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh warna lampu terhadap hasil tangkapan pada alat tangkap Tangkul di Danau Kerinci. Penelitian ini direncanakan dilaksanakan di Danau Kerinci Kabupaten Kerinci pada Tanggal 4 Juni – 4 Juli 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode experimental fishing dan analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik rancangan acak lengkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jumlah hasil tangkapan dan berat hasil tangkapan ikan dengan menggunakan alat tangkap tangkul dengan alat bantu penangkapan berupa lampu yang berbeda mendapatkan hasil berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah hasil tangkapan. Rata-rata panjang perekor hasil tangkapan ikan dengan menggunakan alat tangkap tangkul dengan alat bantu penangkapan berupa lampu yang berbeda mendapatkan hasil tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap rata-rata panjang perekor hasil tangkapan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh warna cahaya lampu pada hasil tangkapan ikan dengan alat tangkap tangkul di Danau Kerinci Kabupaten Kerinci Provinsi Jambi memperoleh hasil dan berat total hasil tangkapan terbanyak pada lampu bewarna biru dari pada warna lampu putih dan merah dan untuk panjang per ekor hasil tangkapan memiliki panjang yang relatih sama.Kata Kunci : Pengaruh,Warna Cahaya Lampu ,Tangkul

Abstract

Kehadiran suatu populasi ikan di suatu tempat dan penyebaran spesies ikan di muka bumi ini selalu berkaitan dengan masalah habitat dan sumberdayanya.   Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2020 sampai dengan November  2020 di Sungai Tembesi  dan Sungai Siau Kecamatan Muara Siau Kabupaten Merangin Provinsi Jambi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui jenis ikan apa saja yang tertangkap perairan Sungai Tembesi dan Sungai Siau serta untuk mengatahui kondisi kualitas air Sungai Tembesi dan Sungai Siau ditinjau dari parameter Fisika dan Kimia. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Jenis ikan yang didapat selama penelitian dari 2 (dua) lokasi berjumlah 249 ekor dengan 11 spesies. Sungai Batang Tembesi Desa Teluk Sikumbang dengan total ikan sebanyak 128 ekor. Sedangkan di Sungai Batang Siau Desa Siau, dengan total ikan di tiga staiun sebanyak 121 ekor serta kondisi kualitas perairan Sungai Batang Tembesi dan Sungai Siau ditinjau dari parameter fisika dan kimia perairan dalam kisaran yang baik.  Kata kunci : Inventarisasi jenis Ikan, Sungai Tembesi dan Sungai Siau ABSTRACTThe presence of a fish population somewhere and the spread of fish species on earth is always related to habitat problems and resources. This research was conducted in October 2020 to November 2020 on the Soli Tembesi and Siau River Muara Siau District Merangin District Jambi Province. The purpose of the study was to determine what type of fish caught the waters of the Tembesi River and Siau River and to praise the condition of the water quality of the Tembesi River and Siau River in terms of physics and chemical parameters. The results showed that the type of fish obtained during the study of 2 (two) locations totaled 249 with 11 species. The river of the Tembesi Batang Teluk Sikumbang Village with a total of 128 fish. Whereas in the Siau river in Siau Village, with total fish in three stations as many as 121 tails and the condition of the quality of the waters of River Tembesi river and Siau River in terms of physics parameters and waters in a good range of waters. Keywords: Inventory of fish types, Tembesi Rivers and Siau Rivers

Abstract

Lembah Masurai District is one of the sub-districts in Merangin Regency, which consists of 15 (fifteen) villages which are fed by the Siau River, Pangi River, Nilo River and other small rivers which empties into the Tembesi River.Identification of fishing gear can provide information on the fishing gear used by the community. In addition, these results can be used as a basis for researchers to develop identification of fishing gear in the waters, especially in the Masurai Valley. The method used in this study is a survey and observation method. The method used in this study is a survey and observation method. There are 2,164 fishing gears identified in the Lembah Masurai Subdistrict and classified into 5 (five) groups namely, 788 hook and lines units, 167 gill nets units, 213 falling gear units, 309 traps units, and 687 grappling and wounding units.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to find out firsthand how to apply GMP and SSOP to milkfish meatball products at PT Indo Samudra Prosperous, Knowing the percentage level of application good manufacturing practices (SSOP) and sanitation standard operating procedure (SSOP). The conclusion of observations at PT Indo Lautan Makmur, Sidoarjo, East Java regarding the suitability of the application of GMP in the processing of milkfish meatballs has an average value of 93.78%. These results show a rating scale of 90%-94.9% which is very good. This shows that PT Indo Lautan Makmur has implemented the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in accordance with the applicable regulations. However, there are some things that need to be improved on the scope of sanitation facilities and programs, especially at the point of location and environment as well as the implementation of a sanitation program where PT Indo Lautan prosperous is located close to residential areas and employees who do not put masks on properly when packing and also talk when do the packing. Overall, the suitability of the application of GMP at PT Indo Samudera prosperous is in accordance with GMP at UPI according to SNI. On the suitability of the SSOP at PT Indo Lautan Makmur it is appropriate because it has an average percentage of 94.12%. These results show a rating scale of 90% -94.9% which is very good. This shows that PT Indo Lautan Makmur has implemented the principles of Sanitation Standard Operation Procedure (SSOP) well. However, there is something that needs to be improved and evaluated again on the protection of materials from harmful contamination because the percentage of weight is 91%.

Abstract

The floating chart is one of the fishing gear that is widely used by fishermen where the main catch target is anchovies, while squid and other small pelagic fish are catch. The types of fish caught by the lift nets operating in Tarusan have not been recorded in detail and periodically, so it is necessary to record the types of fish caught by the lift nets operating in Tarusan waters. This research was conducted in March 2022 in Tarusan Waters, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra. The research location is a place where fishermen make fishing with at the location of arrest I and location of arrest II. It was found that there were 12 species of fish caught at all research locations, but from the types of fish caught in the chart catch, at location I only 10 species of fish were found, while at location II, 11 species of fish were found, dominated by teri (Stolephorus sp).

Abstract

Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias sp.) is a type of fish that is widely cultivated and has afairly profitable economic value. Spawning activities are carried out in order to achieve the desired production target, but spawning results do not always produce productionwith the expected results. This study aims to determine the procedure for spawning and to determine the response of sangkuriang catfish with different doses during spawning.The survey method was used with direct observation in the field. The results showed thatthe semi-natural sangkuriang catfish spawning process consisted of: pond preparation, broodstock selection, broodstock weighing, hormone injection, spawning and larvalcare. Meanwhile, the response of sangkuriang catfish given different doses during spawning was giving different percentages of weight loss. A dose of 0.5 ml gave amaximum egg production of 0.4%, while a dose of 0.25 ml gave good hatchabilityaccording to field observations of 85%.

Abstract

Lubuk larangan merupakan salah satu bentuk kearifan lokal yang merupakan warisan budaya yang ada di masyarakat (tradisional) dan secara turun-temurun dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat. Dusun Tebat merupakan salah satu dusun yang ada di Kabupaten Bungo yang memiliki kawasan konservasi perikanan (reservat) lubuk larangan belimbing dan tebat. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui sistem kelembagaan adat dalam mengelola lubuk larangan di Dusun Tebat Kabupaten Bungo Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari Mei sampai Juli 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dan wawancara langsung. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara desktiptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem kelembagaan adat memiliki peran penting yang bersifat fleksibel dimulai dari proses pembentukan lubuk larangan, pengawasan, pemberian sanksi (bagi yang melanggar) dan masa panen lubuk larangan, semua keputusan dilakukan secara musyawarah. Struktur kelembagaan adat Dusun Tebat terdiri dari ketua, anggota I dan anggota II.

Abstract

Waters conservation areas provide many benefits for human life. Therefore,it is necessary to carry out comprehensive management by various parties in order to reduce damage with the principles of sustainable development, one of which isby developing river area protected. The river area protected (RAP) Tebat which islocated in Tebat Village was formed in the 90s, the formation of the river area protected is inseparable from community participation. This study aims todetermine the level of community participation and to find out how the process of forming the river area protected. The research method is a survey, with randomsampling and purposive sampling data. The results showed that the level ofcommunity participation to the existence of river area protected was 63.9 % (low category). The process for the formation river area protected is through deliberationfrom the community to closed the river area protected, opened the river area protected, determine rules/sanctions and a supervisory system

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the morphometrics of snakehead fish. The implementation was carried out in August – September 2021. Fish sampling was carried out in a flooded swamp in Air Gemuruh Village, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. The experimental fishing method was chosen for data collection. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and Cluster Analysis Hierarchy (CAH) analysis. The morphometrics tested were only seven characters and were compared based on gender. The results showed that morphometric male and female snakehead fish could be divided into three groups of close relationship between morphometric characters. The first group had a very similar close relationship, consisting of the characters of Mouth Opening (BM), Tail Length (PE), Body Width (LB) and Head Length (PK). The second group had a fairly similar close relationship, consisting of dorsal fin length (PSG) and fin length (PS). While the last group has a close relationship that is less similar, namely Total Length (PT). The closeness of these characters is suspected from the size (range) between characters that have a significant difference.
