Abstract

There are many beauty products in the market competition. But there are several factors that influence consumers when making purchasing decisions. In this study using the celebrity endorsement factor and the formulation of the problem is whether the celebrity endorsement influences the purchasing decisions of Muslim consumers on scarlett whitening products in Surabaya. The purpose of this research is to find out whether celebrity endorsements influence the decision of Muslim consumers to buy Scarlett Whitening products in Surabaya. The type of research used is associative quantitative. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 respondents who were selected using a purposive sampling technique with the number of samples using the formula Heir et al. Respondents' answers were measured using a Likert scale. This study shows that celebrity endorsement as an independent variable has an influence on purchasing decisions as the dependent variable of 17.3% (R2). This study has managerial implications for producers/sellers, where celebrity endorsements are important in attracting Muslim consumers to make purchasing decisions on Scarlett Whitening products in Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the average length of schooling, per capita expenditure, local revenue, investment, open unemployment rate on the poverty rate in all districts and cities of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics, West Nusa Tenggara, the Central Bureau of Statistics of Riau Province and the Regional Development Planning Agency of Riau Province. The secondary data used is Panel data for 2012-2021 by Regency/City in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Data analysis using panel data regression.

Abstract

The development of human resource management will continue to change along with the times. At the same time, there have been various emerging developments in the model approach within human resource management. This study aims to look at the various models of human resource management approaches and find the most suitable approach to human resource management. This research will be carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used in this research comes from the results of research and previous studies that are still relevant to the content of this research. The results of this study found that the researcher with the Zoroastrian approach model was the most suitable approach model for human resource management in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This is because, in this approach, values of a fairly high work ethic, empowerment, community improvement, fairness, and good manners are important in developing business excellence.

Abstract

Intellectual competency is an important element in the successful management of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), whose applications are still not optimally empowered by SMEs in Indonesia. This case study aims to describe the forms of intellectual competence of UKM actors and their empowerment in achieving UKM performance in Nagauleng Village, Cenrana District, Bone Regency. This study involved 3 UKM actors who were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The collected data is processed using a data triangulation approach with stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. This study found forms of SME intellectual competence, including: creativity skills, innovation skills, skills in preparing business plans, and job evaluation skills. Furthermore, empowering intellectual competence can improve the performance of SMEs. Following up on these findings, it is very important to implement various intellectual competencies in the management of SMEs so as to provide opportunities to achieve maximum performance.

Abstract

Changes in intellectual capital as well as knowledge management occur as a result of technological and information developments. These changes then affect human resource management in various ways. This research looked at how intellectual capital and knowledge management can influence the development of human resource management. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach. The data used in this study is secondary data derived from various research results and previous studies. The results of this study then found that human resource management is very important in digital technology because companies need to develop according to the current era. Therefore, people who work in the shadows as people in charge of human resource management need to have strong intellectual capital and knowledge management. The existing human resource management can develop properly by having these two things.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to empirically test the effects of occupational health and safety management (OHS) and employee engagement associated with organizational citizenship behaviors (OCB). The study was conducted with 610 sewer cleaners in Jakarta Province and West Java Province-Indonesia using a survey instrument. Data analysis was done by Structural Equation Model (SEM). Three hypotheses were developed in order to determine the relationships between OHS management, employee engagement, and organizational citizenship behavior. The result of this study indicates that OHS management had a significantly positive impact on employees’ engagement and organizational citizenship behavior. This study makes several contributions to employers that by developing a systematic and integrated OHS management at the workplace, it can increase employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

The management of human resources in today's organizations presents a challenge from a strategic perspective. In order to successfully usher in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, it is essential to realign the new business culture with the empowerment of behavior and performance that is required as part of the individual and organizational learning process. The purpose of this study is to investigate how human resource management has developed in response to Industry 4.0. This research is qualitative, and it employs a qualitative approach in conjunction with a descriptive methodology. The findings of the study indicate that human resource management is a strategic partner for organizations, which in turn generates optimism within those organizations in light of the fourth industrial revolution and VUCA. This study investigates the various epochs in the development of HRM, beginning with personnel management and moving on to human resource management and finally human capital management.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the effect of Population, Education, Labor Force Participation Rate, Regency/City Minimum Wage and Gross Regional Domestic Product has on open unemployment in West Java province in 2018-2021. This research data uses secondary data types in the form of combined panel data between cross-section data and time series data for 4 years starting from the 2018-2021 period. The data sources used were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Office of Manpower. Secondary data is data that is not taken directly, namely data taken from previous research or published libraries. The results of this study show that Population and Education have no effect on Open Unemployment in West Java Province in 2018-2021. The Labor Force Participation Rate variable has a negative effect on Open Unemployment in West Java Province in 2018-2021. District/City Minimum Wage Variable has a positive effect on Open Unemployment in West Java Province in 2018-2021. The Gross Regional Domestic Product variable has an effect negative towards Open Unemployment in West Java Province in 2018-2021. Implementation of policies taken by the government to overcome the response by creating wider employment opportunities, the government assists with knowledge insight and entrepreneurial spirit skills to MSMEs in the form of technical and management guidance, building social institutions that can guarantee an unemployed life.

Abstract

Electricity is an important need for people in all regions of Indonesia in this era. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of population, economic growth, foreign investment, domestic investment, and the construction cost index on electricity sales in all cities or districts in West Kalimantan Province. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of time series and cross-section data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Dukcapil of West Kalimantan Province in 2012-2020. The method used in this research is panel data analysis method.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the elements of the Surabaya, East Java student environment that contribute to the selection of electronic devices. Product quality, brand reputation, and cost are considered in this study. The study was quantitative in nature, and factor analysis was used to analyze the collected data. Data is gathered through the use of an online survey administered via Google Forms. The population of the city of Surabaya, the focus of this research, is too large to accurately count. A total of 100 persons participated in the study, and all of the hypotheses put to the test were proven correct by the data.
