Abstract

Abstract. Development of tourism in Indonesia can be seen from the number of tourist arrivals in Indonesia both domestic and international that continuously increase. It affects to the increasing in contribution tourism sector into Indonesian economy. Most of tourism activity in Indonesia is generated by domestic tourist which weight 96.60% during 2009-2016. Domestic tourism can contribute in consumption, value added, and employment to Indonesian economy. In 2019, Indonesian Minister of Tourism has target to increase contribution of tourism in GDP to 8%. The precise strategy is needed to achieve the target. With knowing the factor that can influence the number of domestic tourist to do domestic tourism activities, it can easier to make strategy to achieve the target. This research is conducted to investigate the impact of factors on domestic tourism in Indonesia. There are three factors of number of domestic tourist arrivals in Indonesia that will be used in this research; tourists’ income, price of goods and services, and number of accommodation. Panel data regression was used. Based on Hausman Test, fixed-effect panel regression is the appropriate model that describe the problem in this research. All independent variables were significantly affect number of domestic tourist arrivals with positive relationship. Fixed-effect panel regression indicate that 64.64% of the variation in Indonesian domestic tourist inflows could be explained all independent variables. Tourists’ income, price of goods and services, and accommodation are determinants of domestic tourist in making travel decision. Keywords:  determinants, domestic tourism, Hausman test, Indonesia, panel data

Abstract

Abstract - Islamic Bank grow all over the world, with first existence of Islamic bank in Middle East in 1970s and continue to grow. According to Islamic Financial Services Board 2015, the industry’s assets are estimated to be worth USD1.87 trillion as at 2014 and total Islamic Banking asset worldwide is estimated to be worth USD 1.47 trillion as at 2014. The first sign of Indonesia Islamic Banking begin appeared in 1992 which is Bank Muamalat Indonesia and continue to develop. As the Banking Industry in Indonesia keep growing, the Bank have to maintain their efficiency performance. This research aims to find out the difference between Non Islamic and Islamic performance in term of efficiency using financial ratios. The data used in this research are balance sheet and income statement Non Islamic, Islamic Business Unit, and Islamic Bank in Indonesia that are available during period 2004 – 2014. The total observation in this research is 1537 bank-year.  Method used in this research are computation with financial ratios, descriptive statistic, and Mann-Whitney Test. The results from the descriptive analysis mean value of each ratios, Islamic Bank efficiency performance shows that in early years of this study were not as good as Non Islamic Bank. The result of this study can be used by Islamic Bank management to give empirical evidence to the public that efficiency of Islamic Bank can come up and compete with Non Islamic Bank. Abstract

Abstract. Tahu Saribumi is a tofu restaurant that has been established from 1971 and serves tofu as the main dish. The restaurant located approximately 3 km from the downtown of Sumedang City. Tahu Saribumi considered a senior tofu restaurant with loyal customers since its establishment. Tahu Saribumi restaurant has experienced a decrease in revenue since 2014. The purpose of this paper is to recommend a business strategy for Tahu Saribumi Sumedang in order to stabilize their restaurant financial situation. This paper aim to formulate business strategy using strategic management approach. To do so, this paper try to identify the internal and external environment conditions of the restaurant. Qualitative and quantitative method are implemented using primary and secondary data. Primary data was gained by conducting in-depth interview with restaurant owner, staff, and customers. Secondary data was gained from articles, reports, and websites. The analysis is conducted using SFAS analysis. Result of analysis shows that while Tahu Saribumi is faced with various external opportunity, the business itself still have several major weaknesses that needs to be improved. The recommended suggestion is to create a plan for Tahu Saribumi, consists of short term which is developing new new product development and marketing strategy. Abstract

Abstract - The limited electricity supply in Indonesia nowadays could results in condition where the social, economic growth in Indonesia is restrained. In Response, the government has created programs and policies regarding the electricity to encourage private sector to invest and build power plant development. PT. Sangriang Megasakti has the initiative to create a private micro hydro power plant named PLTM Gumanti. However, in order to establish the project, a feasibility analysis must be conducted in order to determine whether the project is feasible or not. Thus, this research is proposed to analyze the financial feasibility of Gumanti micro hydro project. In this case, research used financial tools in analyzing the project feasibility such as net present value, internal rate of return, payback period, profitability index, and economic value added. In calculating the tools and analyzing the results, several data of the project are required such as total capital expenditure of the project, the operational and maintenance expenditure, and the cash inflow from the electricity generated. The results from the financial feasibility analysis of the project are as follows: the net present value is IDR 45,606,095,418, the internal rate of return is 64%, the profitability index is 4.76, the payback period is 1 year 10 months, and the economic value added is IDR 21,705,617,081. The conclusion of the project is that project was good and feasible to develop. Moreover, the economic value added and rate of return shows that the project economically and financially are worth doing. As recommendation, the researcher recommends to create a letter of intent to conduct a good business and to negotiate the credit rate with the lenders, since the project has big rate of return and fast payback period. Keywords: Feasibility Study, Micro Hydro Power plant, Project analysis

Abstract

Reforms that have been fought by the people of Indonesia have a common goal is the clean government, clean business, and clean environment. People have started to get bored with a bureaucratic culture that leads to acts of corruption. Difficulty getting permission to start a business for those who do not have the closeness with the government are real things that happen in every line of life. Thus the whole issue raises the question of how employee commitment in implementing an integrated licensing and how organizational culture that involves the Operator Licensing Agency and the Organization of the regional Integrated involved in the process of permit issuance.The method used is contributional research method, with linear regression statistical processing techniques. Samples to be used was 69 people, with the sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Abstract

Abstract. The Government has issued Undang-Undang No. 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal (UU JPH). The essence of the Act is article 4, The Government guarantee that all products circulated and traded in the territory of Indonesia must be "Halal" certified. The issuance of this law is very logical, considering that the majority of Indonesians are Muslim. In Islamic teachings, there are terms "Halal" and "Toyyib" that are one unity. Thus, every things consumed by Muslims should be "Halal" and "Toyyib". Beginning with this, the researcher tried to do research on the concept of "Halal" and "Toyyib" is associated with the theory of Operational Management. In the beginning, the researcher defined “Halalan-Toyyiban” Standards in poultry slaughtering. This standards are obtained from a regulation from MUI coupled by 2 regulations from Farming Department of Bandung City. Then, the researcher identified the real condition about chicken slaughtering process and layout in 10 points from 5 traditional markets in Bandung City. The researcher then compared these ideal and real conditions. The researcher found that there gaps between these conditions. Then the researcher analyzed these gaps. The researcher found that the main problem is layout. Based on the problems found above, the researcher proposed a layout as a solution. This layout is developed from "Halalan-Toyyiban" standards before. This layout consist sequence of process. Underneath there is a flow chart as the workers’ instruction. Abstract

Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Teknologi Mineral dan Batubara or better known as puslitbang tekMIRA is the government institution under the ministry of energy and mineral resources, which primarily textual although some basic tasks and functions through research and developmental activities in the field of mineral and coal. In 2014, they have 275 employees. The main research is to know the level of employee job satisfaction in the puslitbang tekMIRA. It focuses on the five facets based on Herzberg two factor theory and hierarchy of Maslow and measured by Job Descriptive Index questionnaire. The variables that be measure are, work it self, pay, promotion opportunity, supervision, and co-worker. The research used descriptive statistic and SPSS 19 to analyzed data. The result of this research shows that the level satisfaction of employee in the main office of puslitbang tekMIRA is satisfied, but still needed to be improving.Keywords: employee job satisfaction, job descriptive index

Abstract

In the last decades, the development in economy of Indonesia has been growing to the better stage. This development stimulates other sector to grow together. This situation attempts the company, which operates in infrastructure to compete to be the best in its business. PT Karya Internusa is a construction company who was established in 1997 and had been expand the business to batching plant sector in 2013. PT Karya Internusa specialized in construction and architecture, excavation foundation and fabrication and installation of steel construction. PT Karya Internusa has done many projects from big companies like Pertamina, PLN, Wilmar Indonesia, Petrokimia Gresik, etc. that makes the revenue of the company that has been growing in last few years and they always want to improve it since they want to being IPO (Initial Public Offering) in next five years. But, before that the company should know what are their future risk in order to estimate how much their value and what are the action required in order to increase the company value. Qualitative Method is used to measure the risk and Discounted Free Cash Flow approach is also used to determine the company value with considering the future risk. In conclusion, the range of PT Karya Internusa’s value is IDR 220,138,861,481 to IDR 290,171,426,063. However, the company should do the risk mitigations, increase and maintain the future growth and reduce the cost of financing. Abstract

Abstract.The growth of using internet is increasing rapidly, people also actively use the internet for the selling and shopping purposes. In previous year of 2017, many retailers have expanded their business activity in digital marketing. E-commerce companies have to take the opportunity to enhance their potential consumers by differentiating their marketing strategy againts the competitors. The method of this study uses quantitative method. The quantitative method would be done by distributing online questionnaires to the people who have used Bukalapak at least once. The respondents are collected for the total of 783 people which the data is analyzed using structural equation model (SEM) to define the relationship among variables. The findings discuss perceived benefits of search significantly affects external search effort, external search effort significantly affects perceived risk, overall deal evaluation is significantly affected by perceived benefits of search and perceived risk, and overall deal evaluation significantly affects willingness to buy. To sum up, the objective of exploring shopper decision process in e-commerce marketplace is answered by the findings. Therefore, some results could be renew the previous study about e-commerce marketplace.
