Abstract

The purpose of this research is knowing about the organizational culture in Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Pelaksanaan Jaringan Pemanfaatan Air Ws. IAKR Padang. The methods of this research is quantitative descriptive. Data collection using primary data obtained from questionnaires with measurement instruments using the Likert scale. The result of the questionnaires have been tested for validity and reliability. The population of this study were all employees of Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Pelaksanaan Jaringan Pemanfaatan Air Ws. IAKR Padang. The technique used is proportionate random sampling with a total sample is 38 employees. The result showed that the organizational culture at Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Pelaksanaan Jaringan Pemanfaatan Air Ws. IAKR Padang is already in the strong category because it gets an average score of 3.84.

Abstract

This research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study were 54 productive teachers at SMKN 8 Padang. The technique used is Simple Random Sampling. The number of samples obtained was 35 teachers. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire using a Likert scale measurement. The results showed that the maintenance of learning facilities at SMKN 8 Padang that 1) routine / continuous maintenance was good with a score of 4.08; 2) Periodic maintenance is good with a score of 3.58; 3) Incidental maintenance is good with a score of 3.95; 4) Preventive maintenance is classified as good with a score of 3.82.

Abstract

This research was made to obtain information at PUPR Balai Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Implementation of IAKR Water Utilization Network regarding: 1) Leadership Assertiveness, 2) Leadership Model, 3) Supervision Activities, and 4) Sanctions for Violations. The author uses descriptive or quantitative research. The author used a questionnaire in this study with a Likert scale model with a population of all employees at PUPR Balai Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Implementation of the IAKR Water Utilization Network, amounting to 62 employees, the number of samples that researchers used for this study amounted to 38 people taken 10% of the population. The results of what the researchers found at PUPR Balai Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Implementation of IAKR Water Utilization Network are: 1) Assertiveness of leaders with an average number of 3.86 is in good criteria, 2) exemplary leadership with an average number of 4.00 are in good criteria, 3) Supervision activities with an average number of 3.78 are in good criteria, and 4) Sanctions for violations with an average number of 4.05 are in good criteria. Overall, it can be seen that the level of employee work discipline development at PUPR Balai Sungai Sumatera V SNVT Implementation of IAKR Water Utilization Network with an average number of 3.92 on good criteria.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the observations and interviews of the authors of several teachers at SMKN 1 Padang that showed that the school administration services for surveying and archiving based on information technology have not been good. The research aims to obtain information on Administrative Personnel Services School of Research Affairs and Information Technology-Based Archiving as seen from the aspects of (1) Physical Evidence, (2) Reliability, (3) Response. This study is descriptive quantitative with a population of all 458 teachers in vocational schools in Payakumbuh City. While the sample size was taken using Slovin formula with a 10% error rate using Proportional Random Sampling techniques ratified by 82 teachers. The assessment instrument is a Likert scale questionnaire with five alternative answers. The results showed the ministry of administrative personnel services school administration affairs surveying and archiving based on information technology from aspects tangible (physical evidence) with a good category average score of 4.20, school administration services for surveying and archiving based on information technology from reliability aspects (reliability) is in a good position with an average score of 4.09, school administration services survey affairs and information technology-based archiving from responsiveness aspects (responsiveness) has been carried out well at the level of 4.00. Abstract

This research is based on the result of the author’s observation of the supervision process which in its implementation is still not running effectively in SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The purpose of this research is to obtain data on the teacher’s view on supervision activities seen in the following indicators: supervision planning, supervision implementation, supervision evaluation and follow-up supervision results. This research uses descriptive research using quantitative methods. The population in this study was all civing servant teachers in SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi which amounted to 80 people, and the amount of samples taken from respondents was 74 people. The sample withdrawal in this study uses proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data obtained has been tested for validity and reliability. The average formulation is used in processing data in this study. The data showed the teacher’s view of supervision activities: (1) planning scored with an average of 4,28 good categories; (2) implementation of getting a score with an average of 4,35 good average (3) evaluation gets a score with an average of 4,34 good category; (4) follow-up result get a score with a good category average of 4,33. The results obtained in this study were about the teacher’s view of the process of obtaining a score with an average of 4,33 good categories. The data obtained has been tested for validity and reliability. The average formulation is used in processing data in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information on whether there is a relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance. The purpose of this study was to obtain information on: 1) employee performance, 2) achievement motivation, and 3) the relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance. The population of all civil servants and non civil servant employees in the Department of Education and Culture of Fifty Cities Regency is 89 people. The sample used was 47 people who were obtained based on the use of the Slovin formula based on the Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The use of this research instrument is the use of a Likert Scale with 5 selected answers it have test for validity and reliability. Validity and reliability were tested with the help of SPSS 16.0 with the Product Moment correlation formula. The results of the analysis show 1) high category employee performance, namely 89.58%, 2) achievement motivation is in the high category 87.9%, and 3) there is a clear relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance in the Education and Culture Office of Lima Puluh Kota Regency. That is, r count 0.754> r table 0.288 and the t value is 7.717> t table 2,000 at the 95% confidence level, which shows a relationship between achievement motivation and employee performance. This means that achievement motivation is one of the factors that influence the performance of employees in the Education and Culture Office of Fifty Cities Regency.

Abstract

This research is based on the observations of the authors at the Office of the Quality Assurance Agency for Education of West Sumatra Province regarding the supervision of direct superiors that are still not well implemented. This research aims to obtain information on Direct Supervisory Supervision at the Education Quality Assurance Agency of West Sumatra Province as seen from the indicators of supervision procedures, supervision techniques, supervisory time and follow-up supervision. This research is descriptive with quantitative methods. The population of this research is employees in the Education Quality Assurance Agency of West Sumatra Province amounting to 76 employees, the sample taken is a population research so that the number of 76 respondents or all subjects in this study. Data collected using questionnaires. The average formulation is used in processing data in this research Data shows that direct supervisory supervision namely: (1) Supervision procedures get a score with an average of 4.26 fall into the good category; (2) Surveillance Techniques get a score with an average of 4.02 fall into the good category; (3) Supervised time scores with an average of 4.08 fall into the good category; (4) Follow-up supervision gets a score with an average of 3.66 belongs to the good category. Overall, Direct Supervisory Supervision at the Education Quality Assurance Agency of West Sumatra Province scored with an average of 4.00 in the good category.

Veronika Male. 2021. The Relationship between Teacher Teaching Style and Students Learning Motivation in State Vocational High School Model Gorontalo, Botupingge Sub-district. Undergraduate Thesis. Department of Educational Management. Faculty of Education. State University of Gorontalo. The principal supervisor is Prof. Dr. Ansar, M.Si, and the co-supervisor is Dr. Arwildayanto, M.Pd. This study aims to find out: 1) teacher teaching style in State Vocational High School Model Gorontalo, 2) students learning motivation in State Vocational High School Model Gorontalo, 3) the relationship between teacher teaching style and students learning motivation in State Vocational High School Model Gorontalo. The method used in this research is quantitative by correlational technique. The samples are 76 respondents. The data collection technique uses questionnaires. The result show that: 1) teacher teaching style in State Vocational High School Model Gorontalo is at the percentage of 84.44% or very good criteria, 2) students learning motivation in State Vocational High School Model Gorontalo is at the percentage of 80.58% or good criteria, 3) teacher teaching style and students learning motivation have a significant and positive relationship with a correlation coefficient of 0.763. So that, it is suggested: 1) for school, it is expected to improve students learning motivation to produce quality graduates. 2) for the teacher, it is expected to improve the teaching style to create effective and efficient learning processes. 3) for the researchers, it is expected to strengthen the ability to analyze the teacher teaching style and students learning motivation. Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan observasi penulis di Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Kab. Padang Pariaman bahwa terdapat indikasi bahwa pengelolaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh pamong belajar belum optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan seberapa baik persepsi siswa tentang pengelolaan pembelajaran oleh pamong belajar di SKB Kab. Padang Pariaman. meliputi: 1) perencanaan pembelajaran, 2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran, 3) evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang berada di SKB Kab. Padang Pariaman dengan jumlah 230 siswa, diambil sampel sebanyak 77 orang dengan rumus Slovin dan perhitungan persentase. Alat pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan model skala, dengan analisis data menggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang pengelolaan pembelajaran oleh pamong belajar di Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar Kab. Padang Pariaman dilihat dari aspek 1) perencanaan pembelajaran memiliki kategori baik dengan skor hasilnya 3.92 dengan tingkat ketercapaian 78,4%, 2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata 4.23 dengan tingkat pencapaian 84.6%, 3) evaluasi pembelajaran dengan kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata 4.39 dengan tingkat ketercapaian 87.8%, 4) secara keseluruhan persepsi siswa tentang Pengelolaan Pembelajaran Oleh Pamong Belajar Di Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar Kab. Padang Pariaman termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan skor temuan 3.97 dengan tingkat ketercapain 79.4%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaturan dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh Pamong Belajar sudah berjalan dengan baik dalam aspek perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how appropriate the results of school accreditation are with the existing reality as seen from the students' perceptions. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study were 480 class XI students at the Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping, with a sample of 90 people who were determined using the Slovin formula. Sampling using proportional incidentil sampling technique. The research instrument used was a Likert Scale model questionnaire consisting of 36 items with alternative answers to Strongly Agree (SS), Agree (S), Disagree (KS), Disagree (TS), Strongly Disagree (STS). Before being used, the questionnaire is tested for validity and reliability first. The collected data is processed by looking for the average score and the average achievement level (TCR). The results showed that in general according to the accreditation students of Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping, it was only in the appropriate criteria (not very suitable) between the rankings obtained and the existing reality, with a TCR of 81.18%. However, if it is observed per the measured aspect, then there is one aspect, namely the facilities and infrastructure, the accreditation according to the students is not very suitable or does not match the rank obtained with the existing reality, with a TCR of 79.33.
