Abstract

This research aims to support Jojo Laundry, a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) located in Parongpong, West Java, in transitioning to digital systems by implementing the Edobi application for recording customer data and transactions. The implementation process involved several stages, including interviews with the business owner, training sessions on how to use the application, inputting customer data, and evaluating the system’s effectiveness. The findings indicate that the use of Edobi significantly improves the efficiency of daily transaction recording and customer management. Information becomes more organized, easily accessible, and protected from the risk of data loss. Although the business owner needs time to fully adapt to the new technology, the initial impact has been positive. Digitalisation is expected to contribute to the long-term growth and competitiveness of Jojo Laundry. It is recommended to provide ongoing assistance and expand digital education to other MSMEs through seminars or workshops.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that is a major public health concern worldwide. Although the disease often causes no symptoms, it has a high risk of causing serious complications. This study aims to optimize community-based hypertension control using a family approach that can improve community awareness and well-being. Lifestyle changes, health education, and regular blood pressure monitoring were the tactics used. The results showed a significant reduction in systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The study also showed an increase in community understanding of hypertension risk factors from 40% to 85% and an increase in adherence to a healthy lifestyle to 78%. Family involvement in health monitoring has shown that this helps them control hypertension. The results of this study suggest that family-based strategies may be effective for preventing and controlling hypertension in the community.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the economic value of the Mangrove Edupark ecotourism area in Semarang City through an economic valuation approach. This study uses the travel cost method and the contingent valuation approach to measure the amount of willingness to pay (WTP) of visitors for the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem. A survey was conducted on 35 respondents who had met certain criteria, and the results of the regression analysis showed that the number of visits, travel costs, income, and distance from home had a significant effect on WTP. On the other hand, the age variable did not have a significant impact. The results showed that the average WTP of respondents reached IDR 4,742.86 per individual, with a total value of IDR 166,000. This finding shows that there is public concern for environmental sustainability as well as support for the development of conservation-based tourism. Therefore, the results of this study can be used as a basis for formulating strategic policies for the management of sustainable mangrove ecotourism areas, as well as increasing community involvement in coastal conservation efforts.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide basic training to students of Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe Private Elementary School in collecting and processing measurement data using simple and semi-digital tools, namely tape measures, automatic waterpass, and sound level meters. This training is intended to foster students' initial understanding of the concepts of measuring length, elevation, and environmental noise levels, as well as introducing simple statistical methods such as mode, median, and mean. The implementation methods include delivering materials, demonstrating tool usage, hands-on practice, and processing and interpreting measurement data. The results show that students are able to understand the functions of measuring instruments and process data using basic statistical methods. Abstract

Reading is the main foundation in literacy development because it not only enriches language skills but also broadens students' horizons. In the context of basic education, reading and writing skills are very important to shape the character and critical thinking skills of students. However, low interest in reading and limited access to information, especially in several regions in Indonesia, are still serious challenges that affect the quality of education and human resource development (UNESCO). This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type. The data collection process uses a method of finding sources and constructing from various sources, for example books, articles and research that has been done. The aim is to describe the role of reading literacy in increasing children's reading interest in elementary schools. This approach was chosen because researchers wanted to understand in depth how reading literacy activities are implemented and how they impact students' reading interest.

Abstract

The Socialization of Small-Sided Game Training in Football at Junior High Schools Across Kampar District" aims to introduce a modified training method that limits the number of players, field size, and duration. This type of training also helps improve skills such as passing, dribbling, and decision-making under pressure. Small-sided games are football training sessions conducted on smaller fields with fewer players than the standard 11-a-side game. The implementation of this training can be adapted to various age groups, including young players. Through small-sided game training, children can enhance their passing skills and teamwork.
