Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of students' critical thinking skills through LKS teaching materials on flat plane geometry for class VII SMP/MTs are valid and practical. This research is a development research using the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The analysis technique of this study uses validity test in the form of score scores from material experts and the value of the teacher's response to LKS teaching materials which is the value of the questionnaire. Practicality test in the form of responses from students and criticism or suggestions from validators. The results of this study produce a product in the form of LKS teaching materials. Product eligibility obtained based on the results of the validation test and practicality test. Assessment by material experts gets a score by 83% with a very valid classification or very feasible to use. Response questionnaire results the teacher got a score of 87% with a very valid classification or very feasible to use. The result of the student response questionnaire got a score of 87% with a very practical classification. Based on these results it can be concluded that the LKS teaching materials are very feasible to use.

Abstract

Language ability consists of four abilities to master it. The four abilities are speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Speaking can be done spontaneously, but writing must be planned and organized. The purpose of this research is to design an appropriate android application-based learning media to help students develop their English writing skills. This study uses the Research and Development method which was adapted in the development of the ADDIE model. The researcher designed a learning media called "Learn English Better". This learning media has been validated by media experts and material experts before being tried out on students. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. The results of media validation obtained a value of 84,6, for material validation a value of 76,36 was obtained, and the results of the implementation of this media obtained a value of 73,2. Based on the results above, the researcher concludes that the Learn English Better android application is suitable for use in MA Al-Asy'ari.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of constructivism learning theory in the Qur'an Hadith lessons at Al-Jihad Junior High School Surabaya. This research is expected to make a new contribution to the learning of the Qur'an and Hadith in general, and in particular to Al-Jihad Junior High School Surabaya as the school used for the research. The research approach used is qualitative with the type of case study research. The data generated from the qualitative method are in the form of descriptive narratives of written words or verbal statements from sources and people who have been determined by the researcher in advance. Data collection methods in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The location of this research is in Al-Jihad Junior High School Surabaya. The subjects in this study were in the teacher's room and classroom, for the informants studied were teachers of all PAI subjects who also served as principals and students of Al-Jihad Junior High School Surabaya. The approach applied in learning the Qur'an Hadith is a constructivist learning theory that is useful for training students' independence, supported by various methods, namely the teacher makes small groups then gives a problem to discuss, the teacher plays a video in the form of a short film then the students conclude, the teacher invites students leave the classroom to do learning, the teacher invites students to play games in the classroom. Thus it will become social interaction in the classroom and psychologically will have a good impact on students if this method works well, the teacher is only a facilitator and mediator, the relationship between the teacher and students is as a partner who learns together.

Abstract

English is the main communication capital in international relations One way to master English to prepare generations to compete in the global market is to learn English in a variety of ways in addition to mastering and qualified English skills, teachers also need to master children's English teaching skills so that learning is not boring. There are many obstacles in conveying English with correct grammar, especially the communication of tense materials, it is necessary to continuously develop techniques and methods or techniques in order to easily learn reading skills, especially grammar and tense. Based on the results of the needs analysis, the researcher intends to develop several tenses for learning media. This study examines the use of the “Simpresent Game” for maximizing learning in Madrasah Aliyah Mambaul Ulum Megaluh Jombang, and used qualitative descriptive as a data analysis technique. A study was conducted in 2021 with a total of 10 subjects. Data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The results show that the media can influence the enthusiasm in learning tense and make them more excited in understanding the material. Through “Simpresent Game”, the students or teacher can evaluate the English learning.

Abstract

The river is a gathering place for water, water quality is greatly influenced by human activities. One of the causes of river water pollution is the presence of domestic waste. This can lead to pollution of water due to microorganisms, s ne of one of her are bacteria Coliform. Coliform bacteria are microorganisms that are usually used as indicators in determining whether a water source is contaminated by pathogens or not. Konto River is a river in East Java originating from the mountains of Argowayang-Anjasmoro Malang. Media is part which can’t be separated from the learning process. In the 2013 curriculum, bacteria material is listed in Basic Competencies (KD) 3.5 and 4.5. Leaflet media for river water quality test that will be developed in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to determine the design and feasibility of STEM-based learning videos on Escherichia coli bacteria material. The type of research used is research and development (R & D) with a 4D development model. However, in this study, it was limited to 3D without the Dessiminase stage. The research subjects were students of the 6th semester biology education study program with a total of 7-10 students. The data used are quantitative data (validation questionnaire scores and student responses) and qualitative data (suggestions and comments from validators and students). Data retrieval using a material and media validation questionnaire instrument and student response questionnaires. The results obtained are the formation of a product in the form of STEM-Based Learning Videos on Escherichia coli Bacteria with the "Eligible" category where 69.4% for material validation and 70.2% for media validation. Meanwhile, for student responses, the percentage is 78% in the interesting category. This product is expected to help students in learning independently so as to support the improvement of learning outcomes and student interest in learning. In addition, this product can be a source of supporting learning in the learning process as well as a source of reference for the wider community.

Abstract

This research aims at developing a learning media based ICT called English Digital Book as supporting learning media for IX grade students of Junior High School. This English Digital book contains some materials and exercises which is appropriate to be learnt for junior high students. All materials in this learning media are based on syllabus of K13 curriculum. The research method used in this research is Research and Development. This development used ADDIE model which have five steps, those are; 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. There are two expert vadidators in this research; those are material expert and media expert. The result of this research shows that from the media validation result got 95%, it was in “very good” category, whether from the material validation got 95% it was also in “very good” category. The students’ responses of field trial result was also in “very good” category. By having those result, this English digital book as learning media is feasible to be used for IX grade students of junior high school. Furthermore this research can be used as reference to other researcher in developing English learning media in different level of students.

Abstract

Using the discovery learning concept, this study intends to generate learning resources such as lesson plans, LKPD, and learning outcomes tests. Research and development (R&D) methodologies are used in this work. The design research and development R&D procedure is referred to as the implementation procedure. The R&D model has ten stages: 1) potential and problems,) Product Design, 3) Data Collection, 4) Design Validation, 5) Design Revision, 6) Product Trial, 7) Product Revision, 8) Trial Use, 9) Product Revision, and 10) Mass Production. Due to a complete lack of time and research funds, this study only made it to the design revision stage. A material validation questionnaire was utilized for validator 1 and a learning device validation questionnaire was used for validator 2. Based on the findings of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that an experience-based Discovery Learning learning tool has been produced through E-learning as a learning tool that has been assessed by several validators, with an average value of 97.3 for lesson plans with a very feasible category for validators 1 and 78.6 with eligible categories for validator 2. The average LKPD score is 94.3 for validator 1, with a very good category, and 81.4 for validator 2, with a very feasible category. The average value for the learning outcomes test is 95 for validator 1, with a very good category, and 87.5 for validator 2, with a very feasible category.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of video animation. For the presentation of the material using the subjects of Al-Qur'an Hadith, class IX students of Mts Nizhamiyah Ploso. The development of learning media using the Kinemaster Application as a medium for making video animations of the Qur'an Hadith. The learning media trial was conducted by class IX students of Mts Nizhamiyah Ploso with a small group trial of 5 students, and a large group trial of 25 students. This research method uses development research which is usually abbreviated as R&D, by applying several stages, namely first potential and problem analysis, second data collection, third product design, fourth design validation, fifth design improvement, sixth product trial, seventh product revision. The results of trials and product feasibility conducted by students and validators. Feasibility of the product obtained a score of 77.78% from media experts, and product feasibility from material experts obtained a score of 74.06%. The small group trial obtained an average score of 72%, and the large group obtained an average score of 75%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the learning media in the form of video animation is very interesting and suitable to be used to help students learn in class IX Mts Nizhamiyah Ploso.

Abstract

Mathematics is a basic science that plays an important role in the development of science and technology. Mathematics is used as a means of thinking, developing reasoning power, logical, systematic, and critical thinking. One of the important aspects in mastering mathematics is the ability of students to apply mathematics in various situations in everyday life. Given the importance of mathematics education, various types of tests on students' mathematical abilities have been held, one of them is PISA study. PISA survey especially evaluates on students’ability on applying their mathematics knowledge in solving problems from real life context. However, based on result of latest PISA and severeal pervious studies, show that students in Indonesia are still weak in connecting mathematical concepts that have been studied with problems in everyday life. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the use of PISA-like Mathematics Problems within personal context, especially math problems that are relevant to the real-life context of Indonesian students. Due of that, in this study, the PISA-like Mathematics Problems within personal context will be developed. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) research, by adapting ADDIE model. The study was conducted at a class of XI-A SMPN 2 Sumobito Jombang. The results show that the PISA-like mathematics problems are valid and practical. Besides that, the results of the implementation of the PISA-like Mathematics Problems within personal context in this study showed that there were students who rarely even completed non-routine math problems such as the PISA-like mathematics problems.
